The Hog's Head Pub, Hogsmeade Village.

"I agree with you. Then, Amosta, keep it!"

Dumbledore frowned slightly and opened the cover of the book. His eyes were fixed on the first page, where a date was written in blue ink!

"Hermione, the date is."

Dumbledore asked quietly.

"I don't know, Professor—"

Hermione knew what Professor Dumbledore was asking without even reading the book, because she was too familiar with the book.

Hermione said, her eyes twinkling.

"That date was on it when Professor Brain gave it to me—"

"Is it."

Dumbledore lowered his head and looked at the date. His face was hidden by shadow and his expression could not be seen.

"Ron, Hermione, did you also receive your respective gifts in your third year?"

"It was before the end of the second year that Professor Dumbledore -"

Ron said,
"In the hospital wing. We were injured in the Chamber of Secrets, so we were admitted to the hospital wing before the end of the semester. Professor Braine brought gifts for Hermione and me. Well, he told Harry at the time that he wanted to give him a gift, too. But it would take some time--"
