Robert has been very busy for the past decade or so.

He had almost no time to rest. The empire was a mess, Holy Terra was a mess, and there were too many things that he had to personally oversee and handle.

Even though a stable government structure was later established, the dilapidated state of the former imperial government was so appalling that he dared not trust it easily.

But in reality, he had to admire the efficiency of the league officials.

He was once very confident in the bureaucratic system he had personally cultivated during his time governing the Infinite Starfield, believing it to be far superior to the imperial bureaucracy of the time—even though the empire was in its own glorious era. Overall, the league officials performed very well.

He also planted people throughout the Empire and in the Alliance-led Dark Crusades to gather intelligence.

The more he learned about the Dark Side Expedition, the more he had to admit that it was a great and glorious undertaking, much like the founding expedition of the empire. The slight shadows cast over this undertaking were merely inevitable noises inherent in any great cause, and not worth mentioning.

Gu Hang didn't seem like a bad person at all.

If Gu Hang is said to have ambition?
Gu Hang never denied or concealed this fact.

He openly and honestly conveyed to all his imperial subjects the idea that he was the most capable leader to lead the empire and humanity back to glory!
Robert even went to the Golden Throne, accompanied by the Imperial Guard, in an attempt to gain an audience with the Emperor through this most secret and prestigious place.

Even that brief meeting, the information he received, told him that everything was correct.

What else could Robert say?

He could only tell himself again and again that being suspicious is good, but one must not let suspicion ruin important matters.

He experienced the great expeditions at the founding of the empire, and the Second Empire, which he created through missteps during the empire's crisis and which now seems somewhat laughable. Now, creating a Third Empire doesn't seem like a big problem at all…

"Dong dong dong..."

The bells of Terra Palace rang for the third time, snapping Robert out of his reverie and ending his daydream.

He stepped out of the office and got into the hovercar.

The ceremonial vehicles were extremely luxurious. After passing through the palace area, which had been partially cleared and rebuilt, the hovercars began to descend and glide over the grand square.

The grand ceremony was right before his eyes.

They got out of the car, walked onto the red carpet, and stepped onto the stage.

Gu Hang had already arrived and was waiting for him.

The middle-aged man with a gentle smile appeared both heroic and refined, making him seem like a gentle ruler.

This appearance was intentional on Gu Hang's part. He was already an immortal being, so maintaining his youth was not difficult for him. However, allowing himself to age to middle age with the passage of time would be more suitable for the appearance of a ruler than maintaining a youthful face.

But Robert knew perfectly well what a terrifying existence lay beneath that skin.

After the ceremony, the new empire will be officially established, and the Third Reich will be officially established.
