Chapter 375 Death Eaters
Three fire dragons were circling and gradually approaching Hogwarts Castle.
The moonlight made their scales shone with various colors like flowing water.
One of them almost brushed against the Gryffindor tower, with huge orange-red pupils, sharp and ferocious long pointed horns, and several dragon trainers standing on the back and top of the head.
These wizards were sullen, and they held wands.
The tip of the wand glows silver-blue.
"Charlie!"
Harry seemed to recognize one of them, and shouted, the butterbeer in his hand fell to the ground, the glass shattered and yellow liquid flowed out.
But no one cared, everyone stared blankly at the three fierce-looking fire dragons.
Boom!
The glass window trembled.
The fire dragon landed heavily on the grass outside the castle.
Their huge bodies twisted back and forth across the lawn, standing on their hind legs, roaring, wheezing and sparking from their nostrils.
The dragon trainers yelled and waved their wands almost at the same time, and silver-blue lightning ropes came out from the tip, tightly bound the fire dragon, and squatted on the ground.
The wizards cooperated with each other to pull the three fire dragons apart one by one, divide them, and get them to places they couldn't see.
From the position of Gryffindor Tower, they could only see one of the smaller red dragons, with its neck held high—
Mushroom-shaped clouds of fire are erupting from its tusk-covered mouth.
In the night, it is very dazzling.
Through the edge of the glass curtain wall, McGuffin can also see some long flames rising into the sky——
Afterwards, terrifying long roars followed one after another.
Echoed for a long time in the dark night.
"Go back upstairs, what are you all doing here?"
Percy suddenly appeared, and he said aloud,
The voice sounded in the silent common room, startling everyone.
Harry looked suspiciously at Percy, who was wearing new jet black, gold-trimmed wizarding robes, the Head of Boys badge shining brightly on his chest.
The whole body is neat and clean, even for Percy, it can be seen that it has been specially dressed.
'This guy doesn't seem to be haunting the party at all... By the way, I didn't see him at the party just now, where did he go? '
Just as Harry was thinking, Fred beside him had already said sarcastically, "Percy, why are you here now? Where did you go dressed up like this, are you on a night out date?"
"Great! Let's keep the party going! It's a great night with fire dragons!"
George raised the wine bottle and shouted.
Just as he was talking, there was another loud roar coming from outside. Percy could hear it clearly now, and his blushing face immediately turned pale.
"Fire dragon?" Percy said. He also seemed frightened, and hurriedly squeezed through the crowd to the floor-to-ceiling window, staring at the pillar of fire that lit up half of the sky from time to time outside the castle in the night, in a daze for a long time.
Somewhat dumbfounded.
"how can that be!?"
He muttered to himself.
"Professor McGonagall!" Neville exclaimed suddenly, tremblingly.
Although the voice was small, it immediately made everyone tremble, and they hurriedly turned around to look.
Professor McGuffin arrived wearily in a pair of plaid pajamas and a hairnet.
She seemed to have fought a fire dragon outside, her face was terrified and dejected.
Look embarrassed.
When they turned around, she was scanning the crowd as if looking for something.
It wasn't until he saw Harry and McGuffin that his expression suddenly relaxed,
This made McGuffin, who saw Professor McGonagall's eyes, feel a little uneasy.
--What happened?
Everyone stared at Professor McGonagall, waiting for her to speak.
After a long time, she said in a hoarse voice,
"Gryffindor won! I'm very happy! I don't want to pursue the things you held the party until now. But from now on..."
"Go to sleep! Don't step out of the Gryffindor common room, the prefects are patrolling the corridors, and keep your hands here in the common room."
"And Percy, Harry, McGuffin, come here, I have something to ask you..."
Professor McGonagall said at last, "Follow me!"
She turned back and pushed the painting away again, and walked out by herself.
McGuffin and the others looked at each other, and followed anxiously.
There was no sound in the lounge, and everyone held their breath watching the few people, guessing what happened.
"Teach...professor! Fire dragon...what's the matter with fire dragon?"
Percy finally calmed down. It looked like Professor McGonagall didn't know about his girlfriend meeting just now.
Professor McGonagall didn't answer, but turned around and said to the fat lady in the portrait, "Ma'am! No one is allowed in or out of the lounge except the professor!"
The Fat Lady replied proudly and solemnly, "Of course!"
Then Professor McGonagall pulled the portrait away, blocking the sight of the little wizards who sneaked up here with curious eyes from the lounge.
After that, she took McGuffin and the others a few steps to a window at the end of the corridor.
She pointed to the fire dragons constantly spewing flames on the field below, and the dragon trainer who was trying to suppress the fire dragons and said,
"I think you probably already guessed that something big happened!"
"The Ministry of Magic had to inform Hogwarts, - no, they gave orders directly - to have dragon trainers garrison dragons directly around the school."
"Percy, as the head of the Boys' Council, I hope you will perform better than tonight!"
said Professor McGonagall, looking sternly at Percy.
"Professor! Professor... I, I never let them do this! What happened tonight will never happen!"
"They'll all be back in bed in no time!"
Percy stammered and said guiltily.
"Professor McGonagall, the fire dragon? Why?"
asked Harry, wondering how Dumbledore could agree to such a thing.
Professor McGonagall took a deep breath, "There is no way! You will probably know about this tomorrow morning... That's why I called you two here alone!"
"Almost all the felons in Azkaban have escaped, and the followers of the mysterious man—the Death Eaters have all escaped."
Professor McGonagall glared at McGuffin and continued, "Also...the dementors also rioted again. Although Goodman sent by Fudge always said that these dark wizards were released by Sirius, after the previous two dementor riots, not many people even in the Ministry of Magic believed these monsters. It is more likely that they were originally guarding them and directly released the dark wizards...It is very likely that Sirius escaped in the same way."
"So Harry, MacGuffin!"
"We have reason to believe that these monsters are in cahoots, and they will come to attack Hogwarts."
"The actions of the last two dementors have proved that for some reason, they are always trying to attack your MacGuffin! And Harry... those Death Eaters will not let you go."
"So, I think you'd better stay in the castle and not go out."
"By the way, tell Wood that the Quidditch match is temporarily cancelled, and we will decide when to restart it depending on the situation!"
"professor?"
"Also...don't even think about going to Hogsmeade, and Hagrid's place is best not to go again. I heard that Ron Weasley has always dragged you to go these two days. Harry, you must be more vigilant and protect yourself from now on!"
Professor McGuffin was very worried. She remembered the prophecy some time ago——is this the so-called Voldemort's servant breaking the chain?
"Professor!" Harry exclaimed in surprise.
He didn't think it was that serious - Hagrid's hut was just outside Hogwarts, wouldn't it be!
"Okay, stop talking, I still have a lot of things to do! Go back to sleep!"
Professor McGonagall turned and left after speaking.
The three people who stayed behind looked at each other face to face.
When the MacGuffins brought the news to the little wizard that night, no one could sleep.
Half of the young wizards insisted on staying in the common room, and even Percy couldn't force them to go back to their dormitories, but look at them.
It is more exciting to watch than to be afraid.
'Fire dragon!Dementors!And Death Eaters...even You-Know-Who...'
They whispered in their mouths, and the thin and broken voices kept hissing in the common room.
Only McGuffin and a small number of people returned to the dormitory to sleep.
the next day,
The castle's security measures have been tightened once again.
The armored warriors who used to patrol the corridors during Christmas came alive again, and began to walk neatly, holding iron spears and axes to patrol the corridors.
Since they can't go up and down the stairs (it will make a lot of noise, and in the face of those magic stairs that change back and forth, they can't let them jump back and forth like little wizards, or wait for the stairs to turn back in place), so they can only take the renovated magic elevator up and down the entire castle.
So when McGuffin and the others got up, they could always hear the sound of clanging and slamming between the armors.
Not only that, but Fair ran back and forth in the corridor, and he commanded some house elves to use magic to seal some secret passage entrances that Harry and the others couldn't find.
This made many little wizards sigh, but the Weasley twins didn't care much, it seemed that they knew a lot of other secret ways.
(Harry also meets Dobby while passing Filch.
The guy was even more eccentric because of the Christmas present Harry had given him.
In addition to the weird Hogwarts tea towel, the big ill-fitting red socks started to be worn on the feet, and even two socks with gold stars and silver stars (shiny) were worn on its bat ears, which looked very weird. )
Dobby was quite satisfied with his outfit, and when he saw Harry, he held him tight.
shrieked, 'This is a present from Harry Potter, the house-elves are so envious, they say Harry is a great man... But I've heard about that too, and Dobby protected Harry from the Death Eaters anyway. ')
After getting rid of Dobby, they finally came to the lobby on the first floor.
There I saw Professor McGonagall and Flitwick standing at the door, Mr. Goodman, and two Aurors arguing loudly.
From the oak door with a gap open, they could still see the huge dragon curled up on the ground not far away, sleeping soundly.
When they came to the restaurant, the "Daily Prophet" brought by the owl had indeed published the news of the Azkaban riots.
(Among Hogwarts students, only a few young wizards such as Hermione persist in ordering various magical newspapers.)
Bad news continued one after another, but the conflict between Ron and Hermione affected by this had finally come to an end temporarily.
Both of them were worried about Harry.
"Look!"
Hermione spread out the newspaper on the table in front of her, and pointed to the ten black and white photos on the front page,
— Nine wizards, one witch.
——all black and white magic photos of imprisonment.
There is an oversized headline on it that reads:
'Followers of You-Know-Who, the most evil of Dark wizards - the Death Eaters! '
'Each person offers a reward of 1000 Galleons, regardless of life or death, the news depends on the importance! '
Everyone in the photo looked nonchalant, and the prisoners were either tapping the edge of the photo, pointing at Hermione and yelling, and some were so angry that they grabbed an Auror by the hair and growled loudly.
Not one expressed remorse, or fear of the situation.
Below each photo is the person's name and crimes committed prior to being sent to Azkaban.
Harry and Ron leaned forward to look at the page of the Daily Prophet, which Hermione read to them.
"Antonin Dolokhov,—the brutal murder of the brothers Gideon and Fabien Prewitt."
During the meeting on the lighting, he pointed at Harry and raised his head and laughed, his face twisted and pale like that of the Malfoy family.
"August Lockwood, - who revealed the secrets of the Ministry of Magic to You-Know-Who."
This man was a middle-aged wizard with greasy hair and acne, lazily leaning against the window. Compared with the distorted expressions of the others, he didn't look like a dark wizard.
Harry looked at them one by one, and every dark wizard had a pale face, and his eyes were full of resentment and cruelty.
Until the last one, which was a witch.
"Bellatrix Lestrange - tormented by the Cruciatus Curse and caused the insanity of Frank and Alice Longbottom."
Hermione took a breath, "I know this person...I saw it in "Records of Dangerous Dark Wizards and Criminals in Modern Times" not long ago. It is said that she is the craziest believer of the Mysterious Man, and she is also the cousin of Sirius Black. Everyone in their family is dark wizards..."
"Well, I told my dad too, that... she used the Cruciatus Curse to drive Neville's parents crazy," Ron whispered.
Even just from the photograph, Harry could tell that this witch was the most dangerous of the dark wizards.
She had long black hair, and although she was thin and haggard in the photo, like a mad woman, she could still tell that the face had been beautiful before, but now the time spent in Azkaban had obviously taken away most of her charm and wizard sanity.
There was a picture of her contorting her face, cursing Harry in a hysterical frenzy.
Only when the crazy face calmed down slightly, and a contemptuous and arrogant smile appeared on the thin lips, could one see a few traces of the youthful demeanor of the past.
