Chapter 59 Snape's Office
Severus Snape's office is located in the basement of Hogwarts Castle, at both ends of the same corridor as the Potions classroom.
The entire office is made of long strips of gray-black stones.
The ceiling is arc-shaped, and the only entrance and exit—a magic crystal lamp that is not very bright is above the archway of the stone gate.
The inside of the room is shaped like three huge hemispheres buckled together, and the shelves along the wall are full of glass jars, with three floors up and down.
The tank is full of brown, red, and amber solutions, which are soaked with snakes, scorpions, toads, and even the eyeballs and organs of certain types of creatures.
There is a large rectangular table in the middle, about 1 meter wide and 3 meters long.
On it are scales, glassware for measuring solutions, dried herbal ingredients in beakers.There are three copper crucibles supported by the iron frame in the middle, all of which are odd and small utensils, tools or materials that are commonly used to make potions.
McGuffin was standing in the corridor outside Snape's office, drawing an equilateral triangle of about twenty inches in front of the wall with his wand.
As the figure was drawn, a pattern of light appeared on the blue-black stone wall—an identical triangle, and then this pattern continued to rotate, turning into a bright circular pattern.
Gradually expanding, until finally the light disappeared——revealing a cold and damp circular stone-walled corridor, which was completely dark inside.
After hesitating for a moment, McGuffin finally walked in, and finally came to this dark office.
As soon as he entered, he saw that Snape was lying on the innermost side.
Under him was a small brown oval table, holding a long white quill in his right hand, writing something on the yellowed parchment.
There are two magic lamps with green shades on the table folded back to back.
There was a long-extinguished fireplace in the wall behind Snape, and it was filled with glass jars, even extending out, and lined up in rows and rows to fill the corner.
"Professor Snape!" McGuffin whispered.
