Chapter 19 I guess he cares

Cecilia pov’s
I arrived at the office and I quickly went to the elevator which leads me to my office. I got in and sat down immediately.
Fredrick is really mean, even if he doesn’t want to have anything to do with me shouldn’t he have asked his driver to drop me off.
Or did I do something wrong that is making him angry? I thought to myself staring at his door like I would get an answer from it.
Oh my gosh, his coffee am so f**king dead!!, How the heck did I forget about his coffee?. I need to hurry up now I said and quickly went and prepare his coffee for him.
When I was done, I began to deliberate whether to present the coffee to him or not. What if he decided to punish me? Or he chooses to fire me for not coming on time? What if he pours the coffee one?
I breathed in and knocked on the door, I heard his voice and the door holding the coffee tightly.
“Your coffee sir,” I said and dropped it beside his tablet but instead of a reply, he used his hands to push the coffee making it land on the floor.
I gasped staring at the broken cup of coffee and the spilled content of coffee on the floor.
I would get the cleaner to clean up the place I said rushing to the door but his voice made me halt.
“Do it yourself and serve me another cup of coffee,” he said without staring at me while I nodded my head walking to get everything I needed.
After cleaning up his office, I went to make him another cup of coffee, I walked inside his office and dropped it on his table.
“Sir your coffee,” I said but he kept working on his laptop without staring at me.
He moved his hand again and the coffee landed on the floor making me gasped in shock. “Clean it up,” he said still operating his laptop.
After cleaning it up, I served him another cup of coffee again and I watched him closely so that he won’t mistakenly or intentionally fall it on the floor.
“Get me the file on the shelf there the one with the tire black cover he said and I look at the shelf to find the file up,” that I couldn’t reach it.
I jumped and my hands touched the file but I couldn’t grab it when I heard the cup landed on the floor and broke into pieces.
Okay, he is getting on my nerves and I know this isn’t mistakenly. Is this some kind of punishment for me? What kind of man is he? A man who doesn’t care about the feelings of others?.
I finally grabbed the file but as I pulled it out the whole file on his shelf was scattered on his floor. I sighed and packed my hair in a messy bun, after which I pulled off my shoe.
Immediately I turn to look at him with anger but he still didn’t stare at me, he keeps putting his concentration on his laptop like I wasn’t here or he wasn’t intentionally making me suffer.
What kind of punishment is this is he taking me for a fool or what? If he wants to see me cry or wants me to beg him then he is wrong because I won’t be doing that at all, I concluded in my mind.
Without waiting for his instructions, I began to arrange the books on the shelf alphabetically, I didn’t even turn to stare him at a glance even for a second. I arranged the book slowly so that I don’t get anything wrong and he calls me back to start all over again.
It was lunchtime and I was still in his office, arranging all the files and documents in order before placing them on the shelf.
He refused to go for his lunch or asked someone to get his lunch which doesn’t concern me but was a bit unlike him.
I yawned lightly as I stare at the number of papers which was scattered on the floor, indeed to organize them and place them all on their own file before keeping them on the shelf.
He got up from his chairs and I watched him as he almost stepped on the broken piece of the coffee cup, but with my last strength, I quickly ran and placed my feet on the broken piece while he places his feet on mine.
Ahhh, I yelled as I felt a sharp pain on my right foot, as tears brim down my eyes.
What the hell are you doing here he yelled at me before removing his legs from mine, slowly in a calculative step I remove my leg from there, only for the broken piece to be stuck to my feet with blood gushing out of it.
Oh my God, are you hurt? He asked me like it wasn’t obvious, making me glare hard at him.
“Of course am hurt, can’t you see my leg dumbass,” I yelled as I felt so much pain on my leg.
What the hell were you thinking of? Why did you place your feet on that broken cup? He asked helping me to seat down.
“Is that a way you tell someone thanks you for saving my ass,” I replied him hissing as the pains increase?
“We need to get you to the hospital quickly,” he said in a panicked tone and I stare at him in shock.
“Relax am not dying yet, it just a little accident which you can attend to,” I replied him holding the chair tightly.
What I can’t do that, he yelled at me and I screamed out in pain. “Just get the first aid and followed my instructions,” I said to him and he looked so scared.
“Hurry up Fredrick,” I said and he quickly brought out the first aid in his office.
“Okay first, you need to pull out the one stuck in my feet,” I said and he looked at me in shock.
No way, he said and I screamed out in pain before he pulled it out as blood gushed out more.
Okay, the iodine just pour a little quantity on my leg, I said and he scattered the first aid looking for iodine.
He looked so terrified and his face right now shows how scared he was making me chuckle.
“You can add the bandage before taking me to the hospital,” I said to him and he nodded placing the bandage on my leg.
We are done right? He asked and I nodded sweating profusely, while he arranged the first aid kit.
He looked so worried and I wonder how possible that could be, I thought he doesn’t give a damn about anyone? I guess he actually cares…
“Hospital now” I stated and he nodded his head lifting me up in bridal style as we got to the elevator.
