Micaela's POV Cont'd

She held my up chin and looked me in the eyes, "Talk to me, did you kill that child? How did you get pregnant? Did it happen here in Seoul?".

"No, not here in Seoul" I croaked. Tears has wail up in my eyes as I remember the pains I went through when I lost my child. "I had a miscarriage. I couldn't protect my little baby because I was working so hard to fend for myself and the unborn child" I continued sobbing uncontrollably.

"Oh my dear" Sabrina pulls me into a hug and I cried so hard.

"I couldn't protect him or her, Sabrina. I didn't have the chance to know if the child I was carrying was a girl or a boy. That innocent baby died within a month I found out of my pregnancy" I muffles.

"I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't imagine how bad you must have felt. I'm really sorry, Micaela" she rubs my back soothingly. "But how did it happen? Who was the father of the child? How long now did this happened?"

"Thirteen years ago" I answered inaudibly and she slowly let go of my shuddering body.

"Did you say thirteen years ago?" she asks and I nodded. "Same thirteen years ago that the rape incident happened with Fernando?" she continues and I nodded in response and her eyes almost popped out of her socket. "Are my suspicion right? Was Fernando the father of that child?"

"Yes Sabrina" I answered weakly in tears and she gave a shocking gasps.

Awkward silence erupted in the room and I heard a sniffle. When I gazed up, I noticed Sabrina was crying. I was so surprised to see her crying, she's not the kind of girl that gets emotionally down easily. For all the years I've been friends with her and Kim she is the strongest among the three of us. Witnessing her shedding tears right now is worth asking what the problem is. As a matter of fact my tears has suddenly gone dry when I saw her own tears. I was forced to ask, "Sabri, why are you crying?".

"I've never been this emotionally hurt, even the breakups I've had can't be compared with how I feel knowing you suffered so much because of what those bitches did to you, Micaela. They almost ruined your life, how did you survive all that without dying?"

I heave a long sigh and gave a light shrug. I really don't know what to answer, at least I'm alive that's all that matters.

"Except my name is not Sabrina only then will they go unpunished by the law. I'll make them suffer more than what they made you suffer!" she vows and I gape at her. "Don't give me that look, I meant every word I said. With the help of that attorney guy named Antonio, I'll make sure they rot in jail!"

"C'mon Sabrina, that's not really necessary anymore. Let bygones be bygones".

"You've got to be kidding me?! Do you know what you're saying? That I should leave those bitches and douchebag to go unpunished?! Never, Micaela! If you don't want justice to be served then I do want justice! What they did is unforgivable! You might choose to forgive them but I Sabrina will never forgive them and even if I have to forgive them that should be after they've served the punishment they deserve!"

I stared at my friend dumbfounded. I never realized how much she loved me until today, I mean I've always known she loves me but this act alone today shows her love for me was beyond my imaginations. How else can someone show love to a friend other than this? "I love you Sabri, you'll forever be my sister and friend. Thank you for the kind of love you've shown to me" I buried myself in her embrace and we remained that way for only God knows how long we stayed in each other arms.

"As for Fernando, don't worry about him. He'll come running to you very soon, I promise you that" she said as we broke apart from the hug.

"I don't want you to go begging him, just let him be. He has made up his mind, and I can't be the one to change that".

"Nah, I'm not doing any of that. Just leave it to me to do the worrying. Let's forget about him for now, what would you like to have tonight?"

"A horror thriller movie, a bowl of popcorn and ice cream will make me happy and I'll be able to sleep well after all of the day's drama".

"Ha! That's a special request. Well, you're really lucky you know, I have all your request right here so we don't need to go out to get any of it" she grins widely and a smile spread on my face.

"You're the best of bestest!" I exclaimed excitedly and we giggled.

"That's only if a word like that does exist" she teases and I laughed.

"I really don't care. I just couldn't have a better word to express my humble feelings".

"I love the sound of that. C'mon now, go ahead and have a warm bath. I'll set everything up before you're even done".

"Thank you" I flashed her a smile and reached for my small luggage and off I went to the guest room.

Fernando's POV

"Buddy, I know you're in there, please let me in" I heard Antonio's voice from the inside while I was on the outside of my rooftop having some glass of whiskey.

What does he want this time around? Is there another scandal after I've cleared out those two scandals on the same day? Yeah you heard right, two scandals. I couldn't sit and do nothing over the kissing pictures that has gone viral on the internet. How it got captured is what I don't know, but what I do know is that with all of my connections I was able to pay off some certain guys to help me clean up that shit. I'm relief they did take it down and those pictures are nowhere to be found in the last 30minutes that I checked online.

"Fernando, please we need to talk" he yelled again and I groaned irritatingly.

"What do you want Antonio? I thought I asked you to leave already, what are you still doing in my house?"

"I'm not leaving until we have a meaningful conversation".

"I don't have anything to discuss with you. Just leave and don't come back here".

"Before I leave I have one question for you, Fernando" he said and I rolled my eyes.

"What silly question do you have to ask me now? Are you going to ask how many times I slept with that woman in the picture you showed Micaela?"

"Of course not! I have no business with what you did with that woman, I guess your conscience should hold you accountable for that" came his response.

Son of a bitch! I cussed under my breath. "Then make it quick because I don't have the patience".

"Fernando, I know you're spiteful of Micaela and you want her to go to jail. But is she the only one you really want to see behind bars for the rape incident that happened to you? Don't you want to see Raphael and his gang suffer the consequences of their actions of 13years ago? Remember they played a huge role in all of this, are you really going to let them get away with it while you focus on your ex-wife alone?"

I was halfway having a sip of my glass of whiskey when I heard that question and I suddenly became a statue as I stared blankly at the door for a moment. I wasn't expecting that question from him, it was quite a shock for me to hear him asks that.

My legs carried me to the door and I found myself unlocking the door and opened it ajar. I gazed up at him with a twitched jaw and he nods at me. "May I?" he gestured for me to let him in which I did without saying a word.

"You made the right choice to let me in, thank you" he continues.

"What are you trying to do Antonio? Do you think you can brainwash me into cancelling the charges inccured on my ex-wife?"

"Not at all, it's not me that will help you make that decision just yet. It's a decision you'll make when once I'm done explaining things to you" he replied and I raised a brow at him.

He took a sit on the wooden chair just across the chair I was sitting earlier. I occupied the same seat again and I waited for him to speak. Instead of him to start talking he was busy staring around the rooftop. "What? Are you going to sit there and glance around this place like you're seeing it for the first time?"

"Chill buddy, no need to sound aggressive, I was going to talk anyways" he replied and snorted. "Do you still remember all that happened that night you were raped?"

"Of course I do! How can I ever forget such a night?"

"So does that mean you still recall what happened after you were taken to that room that you got raped?"

I furrowed at him for a second, "Not really, I can recall some few things but definitely not everything because I blackout".

"Can you tell me the things you remembered taking place around you before you blackout?"

I stared at him weirdly and then flashback of that night surfaces to my head. "When I was taken to that room, I heard voices, females voices to be precised. They were giggling, and one was saying something like...." I paused and shut my eyes closed for a second."I think I heard a lady's voice said something like, 'How could you be so mean and heartless? Fernando is innocent, you can't take away his pride and also take mine. Please, let him go and give me someone else to do this obscene things and then bla bla bla".

"Is that all you heard?" he asks and I gave a frown and shut my eyes close for a moment again.

I think I heard someone faintly said, "We've made up our minds, dear. So stop delaying yourself and start having fun. Ladies? Show her how's it's done' and after those words were said I felt hands touching me and then licking and caressing all over me, and in a matter of seconds I blackout and couldn't tell what happened next" I opened my eyes and glance at him. "What's with all this question? Why do you asked about that night?"

"You've got the answer we've been looking for" he replied with a broad smile and I raised a questioning brow at him.

"What answer? And why are you looking so excited?"

"I'm really glad you could still remember something. From what you just told me, the first lady's voice you heard is that of Micaela's. She was the one talking to the second lady, and the second lady's voice is that of Claudia".

His reply caught me off guard. What did he just say? "What are you saying Antonio? Where did you get that story from? Did she asks you to tell me that?"

"Not at all. She doesn't even know I'm talking to you about the same issue because she already warned me not to mention it to you anymore. Believe me when I say that lady's voice that was begging on your behalf was that of Micaela and no other person. If you pay attention to what she said you'll realize she mentioned about pride, she was begging for your pride and hers not to be taken forcefully".

What! I almost exclaimed aloud but kept cool. "That's not possible" is all I said and I glance away.

"It's very possible! Claudia and Raphael were behind you two set up. It was Claudia and Raphael's plan to screw you two up for two reasons. The first is because Raphael feels intimidated by your intelligence and smartness in highschool and wanted to do something that will make you lack behind academically. While on the hand, Claudia was after bullying Micaela knowing she's always the center of bullies, and not only that she wanted to embarrass her in front of everyone after finding out Micaela was crushing on you. And you know Claudia had always had her eyes on you but you never gave her a chance, that must have contributed to the hate as well. So they ganged up against you two thinking everything will blow up right then, but because you and Micaela never reported them no one heard of that night except for us. I don't know if what I'm saying makes sense to you at all?"

I was so mystified from all I've heard from him to the extent my mouth remained ajar as I stared at him in awe. Is that really what happened that night? Was everything a planned work? Was Micaela a victim as well?

"Did what I just said makes sense to you, Fernando? Can you relate with me?"

"No, no, no. I don't buy the idea of what you're trying to put on my mind. You and my ex-wife planned all that story and she sent you here to act it all up which I must commend you did a great job because I was almost falling for it!"
