Fernando's POV Cont'd

"Would you stop already? I told you she's nothing to me! That lady was someone I used to clear out my doubts after the first time you kissed me. I didn't know what feelings, love or emotions was until you kissed me. I thought what I felt when you kissed me that fateful evening at the hotel room could be felt with any other lady that's why I had to experiment with that. After that experiment with that random lady, I never crossed paths with her until couple of weeks ago when we saw each other again. She was bent on having a revenge on me by stealing a kiss and she even slapped me and threatened me that you're going to find out and unfortunately you did find out. Believe me I feel nothing for her, she's just a stranger to me".

"He's telling the truth, Micaela. Fernando can never cheat on you with another woman, he loves you too much to do that" Antonio vouch for me.

"Even though it has been a long time I set my eyes on Fernando, I do trust him. He's not that kind of guy you're insinuating he is. Look at his eyes, the poor guy still loves you like never before" Claudia said and I raised a brow at her. Claudia is supporting me and she even mentioned trust?

"Ha! You're at this again. Nice!" Micaela snickered and shook her head.

"Mine, my diamond, I'm sorry I never believed you, I was just so stupid and stubborn to listen to you. These past one month has not been easy without you by my side. When I got to know the whole truth of what happened that night, I regretted not giving you a chance to prove your innocence. But all that is in the past now, the enemy behind our rough past is now behind bars and...."

"Enemy? What enemy?" she cuts in.

"Raphael. Raphael and I planned all that happened that night" Claudia answered.

"He admitted to all he did but he didn't show any form of remorse when Antonio and I confronted him. He almost killed the both of us if we weren't smart enough and also with the help of the FBI.

"Son of a bitch! He hasn't changed one bit!" Claudia cussed.

"Like you've changed, huh?" I said rhetorically in a scornful manner which sent her mute and moody.

"Yes she has, she's not the same bad girl she use to be in highschool" Sabrina answered on her behalf and Micaela and I squint at her.

"What's that?" Micaela asks.

"I'm telling you the truth girlfriend, Claudia is a changed being now. If she wasn't a changed girl do you think she would fly down here with me just to apologize to you?"

"Wait a minute, what do you even mean? How did you know where to find Claudia? And what gave you the impression that she's changed when you barely even know her?" Micaela asks.

"We made her a spy" I replied.

"Wait, what? Spy?"she asked in alter despair.

"Yes. We wanted Claudia here and Raphael to face the consequences of their actions. As an attorney I came up with two options they could choose from, either to plead guilty and face a few years jail terms or apologize to you and Fernando and we'll forget about the past. Fernando buys into the idea after explaining better how it wasn't your fault he was raped. We didn't want Claudia and Raphael to deny they were involved in that incident, so myself and Sabrina began making private investigations on their personal life and we discovered they had a weakness we can hold them down with" Antonio explained.

"This is unbelievable!" My wife exclaimed..don't correct me okay? She's my wife and will ever be! She flopped to the couch and held her head.

"I wasn't lying when I told you I got a job as a private detective" Sabrina said proudly to her friend and a small smile played on my lips.

The room became filled with awkward silence and I didn't know where to start from anymore.

"Fernando, Micaela, I'm really sorry for what happened in the past, please forgive me and let's call a truce. Please, find it in your heart to forgive me so that I can have my peace and happiness again" Claudia pleaded and went on her knees.

I glance at my wife and we met gaze. She no longer look upset, but she was sad. I could tell she was at the brim of tears. I went over to her and squats right in front of her and I took her hands and cover it with my palms. I tilts her chin up and she stared into my eyes with tears rolling down her cheeks. "My own, my heartbeat, I know she wronged us, but please let's forgive her and let go of the past, okay?"

"I already forgive her, Ferd" she muffles.

"Thank you. But why are you crying?" I asked wiping off her tears.

"I forgave her. But can I forgive you after all you did to me?" she asks almost in a whisper and I gape at her.

"My baby, what are you saying? Please don't do this to me, I've come to love you so much that living this life without you is going to have a bad effect on me. Please my own, forgive me" I pleaded in tears and kissed her knuckles.

"I should forgive you? But how?"

"What do you mean how, girlfriend? Forgive this young man already and live a happily ever ending!" Sabrina butts in.

"Just shut up, okay?" Micaela shuns her friend. "Do you think is that easy to faced rejection from the person you loved the most in the world?"

"I was wrong, I was so stupid not to have believed you. Please forgive me, I want you back in my life, I want to be with you and my unborn child, I want to be there for you two...I want to protect you, care for you and love you forever. I want to patt your back when you're feeling pains, I want to get you your favorite roses and place it on your tray of coffee every morning, I want to be your errand boy when you're craving for anything. Please my love don't deny me this privilege that I never wished for but came to me in a surprising and miraculous way. You and my child are the reasons for my happiness, I can't trade it for anything in the world" I sobbed and bowed my head on her thighs.

I don't think I've ever cried for anything let alone a woman just like I'm doing right now. The fear of losing her is beyond my control, I don't think I'll still be sane if she's no longer there for me.

"Look up you stupid" she muffles and I raised my head and saw her reddish eyes, she was crying just like I was doing. She cupped my face and placed her forehead on mine and I held her hands. "Why do I love you so fucking much, Ferd? How do you manage to make me sad and happy? How is it that no matter what you do I still love you like a fool?"

"Because that's what true love is all about. You get to love that person so much that you're willing to forgive their mistakes. You and I were a victim of a sexual abuse, we deserve to love and care for each other now more than ever. We need each other to heal from that emotional injury, so let's give each other one more chance and let's start all over again. Let's show the world that we have a diamond heart and everyone else can heal from whatever emotional trauma they've being through. Please let's walk this path together and become heroes, let's not let our past ruin the future right in front of us".

She stared at me quietly with those beautiful brown eyes and smiled through the tears. "Will I ever stop loving you, Fernando Perez? I still want you in my life, I want you to be the one to rub my back when all the pregnancy symptoms becomes so unbearable, I want you to be my errand boy to buy me chocolate candies, ice cream, chicken laps and other things I'll be craving for. I want to laugh at your silly jokes, the teasing, your choice of movies, the way you dance...I just want to share everything with you".

"I want to continue to see your movie picks that gets you so emotional and I want to cry with you whenever you're crying. I want to love you with my life, I want to grow old with you. I want to lay next to you even until the last day of my life. I don't want anyone else but you my diamond" I chuckled lightly and she giggles.

"Go away, I'm not that emotional" she glance down to her thighs and my smiles widens.

"You two should kiss already let's end this romantic movie scene!" Sabrina high-pitched voice echoes in our ears and I glanced back at her and she shrugs and batted her eyelashes at me.

"If not that I like you, I would have ask my woman here to unfriend you".

"No way! You're still a jerk to me after all the help I offered you? You're so ungrateful!" she pouted with a frown.

"Quit the drama, I only said 'I would have' not 'I will' I'm a gentleman, okay?" I replied and winks at her while giggles erupted from us all. I returned my gaze on my wife and cupped her face. "My own, do you forgive me now? Can you marry me one more time? I promise is going to be the last time".

"What about the divorce papers you signed, what's going to happen to it?" she asks.

"Oh my darling, fuck those papers! There are just papers nothing more, you are still my wife and that's final!"

"Then you've got my forgiveness already, I'm all yours" she giggles lightly and I couldn't wait another seconds to smash my lips on hers.

I kissed and suck on those soft lips of hers like I haven't done for quite sometime now. Just a kiss from her has made the young guy in between my legs stood up excitedly, how silly of me to get turned on by just a kiss. But you don't have to blame me, this is how she makes me feel, I can't deny the effect she has on me. I'm the happiest man right now to know that my wife has forgiven me from my wrongs.

"Oh my gosh! What did I miss?!" A feminine voice exclaims startling us apart and our head snaps to the direction the voice came from. Oh, it's Ji-hye.

"You missed a whole lot, my dear. Don't worry, I'll gossip about it with you later" Sabrina replied.

"When would you ever stop being a gossip?" I dared to ask even when I know someone like Sabrina can never stop gossiping.

"When you decide to do a matchmaking for your brother and I" she grins widely and batted her eyelashes one more time tonight.

"What!" We all exclaimed.

"C'mon! Just see it as returning the favors I did for you and my girlfriend" she responded boldly and I shared a glance with my wife.

"Oh Sabrina, some things never changes with you" I scoffed.

"Your brother is such a cute guy and I'm beautiful with great curves and everything, I'm sure he'll like me" she continues.

"Sabrina!" My wife exclaims in disbelief.

"We'll talk about that later not now, we should celebrate this lovely reunion" Antonio said and I concurred to it.

"I should get going now. Thank you Fernando and Micaela for giving me another chance. And Sabrina, I want to also thank you for listening and advising me, it has readjusted my thinking. Thank you all. I wish you two a happy married life" Claudia said and turns around to leave.

"Claudia!" My wife called out to her and she halted and squint back at us. "You really don't have to leave tonight, you can stay and celebrate with us".

"Are you serious?!" Claudia half-exclaims.

"Yes, I'm serious. We've called a truce already, so why not we celebrate as a family? My love, don't you want her to stay?" My wife gazes up at me to asks.

"Of course I want her to stay! Stay with us for the night, you can return to your base tomorrow. We can all use this opportunity to get to know what we've all being doing these past couple of years, don't you think so?" I asks glancing at Claudia.

"Yeah, that's right" she flashed me a smile.

"Please Ji-hye, get us two bottles of wine let's celebrate" I requested.

"Right away, Sir Fernando" Ji-hye replied and scurries off to get the requested bottles of wine.

"I love this!!! How about some music?!" Sabrina squeals excitedly and scurries off to the speakers stand.

"We don't need any music, Sabrina!" My wife yelled exasperatingly.

"You do need! C'mon, dance to this!" She yelled back and a Mexican track began playing.

"Oh no, Sabrina!" My wife mumbles aloud and I chuckled.

"You have no choice sweetheart, you've got to dance. It's our call to celebrate our baby and our reunion" I whispered and held her hands.

"I love this song!" Claudia squeals dramatically and rushes up to Antonio to dance with him. It's a song by Enrique Iglesias one of my favorite artist, I think he calls this track 'Subeme La Radio' so you can imagine what it's gonna be like when you pair with someone to dance it with.

"You see! I'm not the only one who loves this song!" Sabrina giggles excitedly and began dancing.

"They are really having fun, my own" I whispered and she nodded with a wide grin.

"I feel so relieved and happy. I'm we're finally back together. Your mom, your dad and your brother needs to know about this" she said.

"Of course my own, we will tell them on phone tonight. Then tomorrow, we'll be going for our honeymoon, when we get back we'll celebrate with them in Madrid".

"Honeymoon? Are we going for another honeymoon vacation?"
