Chapter 174
"Finally you are starting to stand up for yourself!" Elsie breathed out in excitement ignoring Lily and her family's glares toward her.
"Come, let's go to the kitchen. You must be hungry. Did you get the phone?" Aunt Bianca asked as she led her away from the living room.
Lily couldn't feel her legs. She couldn't believe Ariana had just said those things to her. She could hear Ariana's voice ring in her head. The girl had just called her homeless. Ariana had picked her fingers into Lily's past.
Lily lowered herself into the seat closest to her and closed her eyes as anger slowly started to burn within her. She couldn't let this little thing repeat itself. Where ever she thought she was getting the strength from must be stopped before Lily lost total control.
"Mom, let's go talk in the room," Noah gritted and started walking away. They were all ashamed of themselves. Ariana had put them in their place and that was a stain they had to clear out as soon as possible. Calhoun was already a force they couldn't control. If the woman he planned to marry had the same aura, then their existence was going to be hard to maintain in the family.
Matt helped Lily out of the chair and they slowly walked to their side of the mansion. Benson was quiet and the most calmed. To all their eyes, they thought Benson was worried about the same situation they all pondered on. Unknown to them, Benson was thinking about how he was going to convince Matt to let what he saw vanish from his head.
The family marched till they got to Benson and Lily's room. Matt led his mum to the vanity chair and moved to close the door behind them. He had also prepared a personal way of ending Ariana once and for all. This situation with his mom only worsened the whole resolve.
"What do we do now? We can't let that girl roam around the house with raised shoulders like she won an award or something! We need to put her where she belongs!" Noah barked.
"For the first time, I support your idea brother. Ariana would grow wings if we fold our arms and do nothing!" Matt said in support of his brother.
"How can we make I fall then?" Noah asked getting eager.
"My plan was like this, I will play the good boy part and get her to be comfortable with me. Because found she wanted to get on everyone's good side. So, I planned on being the guy she would get along with in our family..." Matt started.
"Why would you want to be her friend?" Noah asked with a scowl on his face.
Lily was holding her head as she turned to glare at Noah. "Let your brother speak!" She hissed
"I am not going to be her real friend. I just want her to trust me enough to see me as a friend, then I will be able to get under her skin. I could even make Calhoun jealous. Or I seduce her and make her mine, then send her away!"
"You always think about how to get into girl's panties, Matt! Can't you think of something else? Something more productive?" Noah growled
"Something more productive like getting Sofia to like me?" Matt hissed out in irritation and Noah kept quiet.
"I am trying my best to solve this ugly condition before us and all you think about is how wrong my idea is! If you know so much why don't you come up with something useful!" Matt added.
Noah made to speak but Lily held his hand back.
"This is the time I will need all of you to coopearte with one another. You have all seen how much we have underestimated our enemy. She is getting stronger but we have to break her before it becomes too late." Lily raised her head and looked each of her sons in the eye. "We need each other's support."
Noah groaned but he nodded, accepting his mother's words. "Fine. So what do we do?"
Lily was quiet for a while before she heaved a long sigh. "I think Matt's approach is better and right now he is the only one to do it. You have to convince her that you genuinely care about her and when she falls for you, you can even impregnate her so that her survival will be the ultimate. By the time she is sent out of here, she would go back to the streets and remember how much she had insulted me!" Lily said with anger brewing in her eyes.
Ariana had embarrassed her in front of everyone. She would make her regret her words. She would make sure Ariana begged on her feet for forgiveness.
"That won't be a problem mom, I already started a sort of relationship with her," Matt said confidently.
"Good, you have three weeks to get it all done and sealed. You just leave the rest to me," Lily said as she got up from her seat. Her skin was white and she was burning with anger. "Ariana needs to be taught a lesson."
"Mom, what about Sofia and I?" Noah asked with a frown on his face.
Matt raised his brow but refused to comment on the matter. Noah was just being childish.
"That deal can't fully be activated because we haven't defeated Ariana yet!" Lily added harshly. "Remember we told her, we can only proceed when she had seen Ariana thrown back into the pit from which she came from."
"Okay. Matt you've got to hurry then," he grumbled as he walked out of the room.
Matt stared at his mother and felt bad for her. He couldn't imagine what he would have done if he were in her position. Why would his father even think of doing such a despicable thing in the same room?
"Matt are you okay?" Lily asked him. He was unconsciously glaring daggers at his father and the mere thought of having to leave his mother with him irritated him.
"It's father."
At the sound of his voice, Benson thought the ground would open and swallow him whole.
