Chapter 30
After Aria's rejection, Ethan sat in his office as calls came in from different people. He had to hold a meeting or he was going to lose everything he had worked for and he would never pass the Lawson's.
He needed something to clear his mind, he couldn't think properly in this state. Since his uncle's visit yesterday, he had clearly not recovered.
Simple Alcohol will do the trick for him.
Ethan stood up from his chair as he walked across the other side of the office. The exit
Ethan rubbed the back of his neck as he felt the sharp pain from all the work he had been doing.
He attained the pain he currently experienced from his bad sitting posture. Ethan had always been corrected many times by his doctor but he still persisted.
He moved his hands towards doorknob and bent it open.
The previous noise they was heard earlier had turned into a graveyard. Every Employees eye were on him as he walked to his elevator.
The Elevator was for the boss only, There was one other elevator but that was for the employees.
He pressed the last button as he entered and it closer opened and moved down.
Thoughts of how he was going to get his Aria back to him filled his head.
The girl barely spared him time to speak. If he was going to propose to her he had to find a way to do it.
The elevator stopped and opened up. He stepped at and processed to his car.
His driver was already inside waiting for him. Ethan approached the car and the valet outside opened the door for him.
The Jasmine mist inside his car clamped his mind for some minutes before Aria's name popped up in his head.
Uncle was definitely wrong about leaving Aria, Ethan thought to himself.
Aria was his better sweet medicine and he did not want to stay away from her. It felt like the world would be over if he stayed away from Aria or didn't hear her voice.
"Where you like to go, sir?" The driver asked Ethan as he settled in properly.
"Take me to any bar you can find, " He commanded as he laid his head on the chair.
"Sure Sir, " He acknowledged before he sped off.
Don't you dare say my name!" Ariana's voice filled his ear as he stared into blank space. "please ask him to leave my life alone! He is taking away my peace of mind and sanity!" Her voice sweet voice was like iodine on an open flesh.
She had never sent him away like that ever since they had been dating. He believes she would find a way to forgive him like she always does.
"This time it might take longer than expect but she would forgive me I am sure," He mumbled to himself.
The driver at the front could notice the dull and lifeless face of his boss. But he refuses today anything that could get him sacked.
Even the housemaids and the security could notice that the boss was obviously obsessed with his girlfriend.
Everybody knew she left him a better person when she was around. But the same also goes that he was not worthy to be with her.
She was kind and she had a gentle spirit, it was almost as if she could not hurt an Ant. For Ethan, it was much of the opposite but he had more the anger issues in his case.
The driver shook his head gently as he thought. In other senses it wants his problem to think about. The boss himself will fix it himself.
The driver located a restaurant and bar. It was filed with high class society spoilt billionaires. That doesn't work for any penny they spent. Steven had always lived to see them do all sorts of nonsense in bars and parties.
Even his boss Ethan sometimes joined them and participated in what they did
The particular click of boys was not Ethan's friends so he dropped him off somewhere else.
Ethan got down from his car and he walked to the entrance of the bar.
The ladies inside the bar looked drop-dead gorgeous which made him suddenly happy.
The girls blew him air kisses and some of them at stood behind the door to call in people to the room.
He walked deeper Inside the room and some of the girls held on to him.
They grabbed him and moved him to a chair. A blonde that sat beside him gently played with his hair.
The thoughts of Ariana had seized for the moment.
"What do you wanna have Mr charming?" One of the girls said before she giggled.
"Anything will do, Anything strong." He said almost in a whisper.
The girl stood up and went away to find him something to drink.
The blonde beside him was still doing her magic with her hands. It felt like he had completely left earth.
She kept on rubbing him and kissing his face.
The girl that left finally bought the drink.
The clear water glistened in the glass cup. She handed it to him and he took everything down in one gulp.
"Good boy," She said before she poured him another one.
He kept on refilling and drinking until he got to his seventh bottle. He became too dizzy and his vision was blurry.
Ethan couldn't see anything properly anymore, they All held him up and walked him behind one of those doors.
He couldn't make out what was going but he was definitely sure somebody was undressing him at the moment.
Ethan felt her warm body on him, he tried to look at who it was, but he couldn't get it because of the hair on her face.
He squinted harder to see who the person was and he finally got a glimpse of her face.
It was the same person that filled his thought for the last twenty four hours.
"Aria?"
