Chapter 53
Ariana woke up with an ache on the back from dozing off on the chair with Lisa. By the time they had realized that they had slept in the parlor, it was already eight in the morning.
It was more of a waste of sleep. It felt as if their night flew away. Luckily for them today was Sunday. They barely had anywhere to go. So they continued to sleep in until noon. Lisa was the first person to wake up she said she had to get home because she needed to do her laundry. Basically the only day on which they were both free was on Sunday. Saturdays were not considered a free day because most of the time they worked in the morning till one-thirty in the afternoon when Alice decided to release them.
"Visit me soon," Ariana said as yawned by the door.
"I'll definitely love to watch crappy romance movies with you again," Lisa said with a smile before she hugged Ariana.
"Bye!" Ariana waved as she walked out of the house.
The house was back to silence and empty once more it was she bad her house again all alone. After her house had burnt, they helped her to change some things in her room. They even gave her entire parlor a full retouch and some colors. Ariana on her own would never have the time to do such because of her busy schedule.
Ariana sighed as she stared at her house that she managed to mess up in a matter of an hour. It was easy messing it up but it was harder cleaning it up. Maybe she shouldn't have rejected Lisa's help clean up the house then it would have been easier for her.
Ariana walked around the house and picked up some nylons on the floor, followed by cans and some boxes of Pizza. They managed to find a way to order pizza from a restaurant late at night. Ariana smiled as she stared at the empty box in her hands.
Lisa was truly a stress and a pain reliever, she says the funniest things and she made her laugh a lot in just one night.
She actually forgot she had problems and a huge situation at hand. Merely thinking of it made her mouth bitter including the sudden loss of appetite. How could she sleep properly when her mother was obviously searching for a way to cure her husband, her own Father. Ariana rubbed her forehead as she continued to clean up last night's mess. If you told a person that there were a bunch of teenagers in the house partying it wouldn't have been a very hard thing to believe. Because the garage bag was full to the middle.
She had not even taken her bath yet, Ariana picked up the card of the woman she wanted to meet this afternoon. The card was fancy. The need for money got Ariana thinking about how much she could sell the card for and what will be her gain.
She shook off the weird thought she had and continued. Before Ariana could be done with what she was doing it was already two thirty in the afternoon.
Ariana yawned loudly before she decided to take her bath. She also had Tara to call.
"Maybe I should give her a call before I decided to shower without any good reason," Ariana mumbled to herself before she walked to grab her phone.
The card was in her hands so she didn't have to start the stress of searching for it because she was very careless. As a child, she once lost her own cousin in a mall. She had to go find him in the lost and found Area.
"Hello?" Ariana spoke first immediately she picked up the phone.
"Hello, this is Tara, whom am I speaking to?" She asked with her classy voice. Even her elegance showed from a phone call. It was almost as if she was flawless. She rarely had spots on her skin, the only spot that could be found on her face was freckled.
"This is Ariana brown speaking," She Answered.
"Oh Ariana, my bad, I'm sorry I couldn't recognize such a sweet voice as yours how do you do?" She asked.
"I am doing fine and you?" She asked.
"I am fine Ariana, hope everything is well with you?"
"Yes everything is well, I apologize for reaching out to you late, I barely had time to check even my own missed calls on a normal call," Ariana said.
"Oh it's fine, I understood how choked up you were with your job," Tara said completely understanding her.
"How about we meet up somewhere?" Tara suggested.
"Yes, Tara I also suggest such," Ariana accepted.
"Closest place we could meet up?" Tara asked.
"Winston wings lane, La cuisine restaurant," Ariana gave the location for their meeting.
"Okay, when I arrive ill be sure to give you a call," Tara said.
"What time?" Ariana asked to be sure
"Five in the evening would be good," Tara replied swiftly.
"Goodbye!" Tara said first.
"Goodbye Tara," Ariana replied before the line went silent. Like the room in which she was filled with.
Ariana took her bath as fast as she could.
The meal she eat was just simple, it was just some eggs and some spinach
Ariana grabbed a free back gown before she woke back downstairs with a chignon.
Ariana rushed out of the house with a purse. It was already four thirty and she had even left the house yet. She ran to the taxi that was currently waiting for passengers. The smell of her own perfume hit her nose and she smelled.
The driver carried her to her destination. She waited in one of the seats in the restaurant for Tara to Arrive.
Tara apparently was also a late comer like Ariana. She arrived an hour after the proposed time.
"I presume I won't be the only one that was late to my own wedding," She said flashing her brightest smile.
