The scene was intense as the hungry crocodiles lurked, snapping their razor-sharp fangs hungrily in Dave's direction. Their cold, reptilian eyes gazed up longingly at him, fixating on Dave and, to their apparent delight, his girlfriend, Sally, in particular. Sally, a picture of sheer terror, was as pale as the belly of a fish in that dire moment as she was tied to a pulley beside her boyfriend. Her fear was so palpable that Alejandro, who had experienced his share of life's hardships, had never seen anyone so utterly frightened in all his years.

He couldn't fault her, for even the bravest soul would be rendered paralyzed in her shoes. In such a dire predicament, anyone would prefer a quick, merciful end to the impending doom rather than the gruesome fate of being devoured alive by crocodiles. The agony, they might experience, would be for a while, and the moment their eyes closed and they succumbed to darkness, it would all be over.

Sally's panicked voice pierced through the tense air as she pleaded with Alejandro, "Let me out of this thing! Let me out! Please I'm begging you in the name of God. Let me out of this thing! Please!"

Alejandro stayed completely silent because Sally's fear was so evident that her voice trembled, sounding like a desperate, croaking frog.

Finally, Alejandro broke his silence and raised a pointed finger toward Sally as he said, "I've got a few questions for you, shawty. What's your name?"

Sally, her voice trembling but determined, replied, "Sally! My name's Sally!"

In the midst of all the chaos, Bruno, Alejandro's right-hand man, ordered one of Alejandro's men to bring a fancy, comfortable chair for Alejandro. Alejandro casually walked over to the elegant chair and sat down, which was quite a striking contrast to the imminent danger all around them.

"Sally, huh," Alejandro mused, his legs crossing as he fixed her with an intense and menacing gaze. "That's a lovely name, don't you think? But now, listen closely, Sally. I need you to fully grasp the gravity of your current situation. Just below you lies a murky pond, teeming with relentless crocodiles. Crocodiles, my dear, are truly remarkable creatures. I once dedicated time to studying them. Did you know that scientists believe crocodiles have existed since the days of the dinosaurs?"

Sally nervously shifted her gaze downward to the ominous waters, her throat dry, and admitted, "I had no idea. I... I had no idea they've existed since the days of dinosaurs."

Alejandro allowed a sinister smile to creep across his face as he casually flicked ashes from his cigarette. "Well, now you do. Crocodiles possess the incredible ability to endure without oxygen for a significant time, and they can go without food for extended periods. I can't recall the exact duration, but trust me, it's quite substantial."

Alejandro was well aware of his cruel game of suspense, savoring the mounting fear in Sally and her boyfriend, Dave. He wanted them to be utterly petrified. Seeing the fear on other people's face was something he enjoyed so much, and that was why he was making Dave and Sally utterly petrified

He went on, his voice dripping with malevolence, "You see, these crocodiles down there are my pets. And would you like to know how we nourish them?" He paused, deliberately drawing out the tension, savoring their horrified expressions. "It's a rather straightforward matter. Humans happen to be their preferred delicacy. We exclusively feed them humans."

Sally's face contorted with terror, her eyes darting towards Dave, who surprisingly appeared somewhat less unnerved.

"Let me out!" Dave demanded urgently. "Free me from this predicament. I apologize for my actions with Marisa. I played with her emotions."

Alejandro's devilish smirk remained as he continued to smoke, taking his time. Then, he taunted, "We've deliberately withheld feeding these crocodiles for several weeks now. Just contemplate how savage they will become once your body plunges into that pond. Picture it."

Dave erupted in frustration, yelling, "What do you want from us?!"

Alejandro slowly lit another cigarette, carelessly discarding the spent one on the floor. "I want to understand why you chose to get close to Marisa. I wish to comprehend your motives."

Dave exchanged a meaningful glance with Sally, their silent communication revealing more than words.

"I didn't have a specific reason," he replied to Alejandro's inquiry.

Alejandro had anticipated this response. "No specific reason?"

Dave raised his voice defiantly, surprising even himself. "I don't have a specific reason for getting close to her, and even if I did, I wouldn't utter a single word to you about it."

A heavy silence fell, and Alejandro's expression darkened.

Sally, torn and deeply fearful, wavered between revealing the truth and maintaining her silence. In contrast, Dave exhibited unwavering determination and obstinacy. Alejandro sensed that attempting to extract information from him would prove fruitless.

Bringing his hands together to form a triangular shape, Alejandro pressed them to his face and fixed a piercing gaze on Dave before declaring, "So, you've made your choice to become crocodile food."

Fear instantaneously gripped Dave as his resolve crumbled, and he admitted, "You want the truth? I don't know anything. I can't help you."

Alejandro signaled to Bruno, who was stationed in front of an array of buttons and levers, with a nod. Bruno promptly pressed a red button and pulled a lever, initiating the pulley system. Dave was released and plummeted into the pond with a resounding splash.

The following scene was profoundly chilling. The crocodiles lunged at Dave, their jaws agape, ready for a fatal strike. The pandemonium in the pond echoed like a ferocious street brawl in the dead of night, followed by Dave's bloodcurdling screams.
