Chapter 10

Ayla's Pov:

I'm so excited for this surprise but at the same time something is not settling well with me. I don't know what this feeling is about but it's stopping me. I touched my chest as it feels so heavy. I shrugged off the feeling because Rags have told me they have planned a surprise what more bad it could be.

Yet my heart and my mind are saying that something bad is gonna happen.

I shook my head to clear my thoughts my friends are with me, they're all here so all I have to do is stay close to them. No need to worry. You're just being paranoid thinking so much lately that's it, nothing is gonna happen.

I sighed to distract myself I thought about the surprise. I smiled inwardly Rags is also not telling me anything and she said was this will make me happy. A left my mouth I so badly wanna time travel to know what exactly is gonna happen. I love gifts and surprises so I always get super hyper over it. I mean who doesn't.

Free food duh!!! I'm always down for it. Someone can easily bribe me with food. I'm like that.

Did you seriously forgot about that letter and that threat?

Fuck!! Now again you ruin it completely, my good mood instantly turned into sour mood. My mind surely does know how to spoil it. Well aren't you the one who implicated that it might be Aarav for A. Now what happened to that confidence??

Yeah I know but now I don't know. I'm not sure about it whether it was Aarav. I feel like it could be someone else.

I scowl at my thoughts. This has been happening for the past few hours. It keeps on saying different things as hours are passing by.

"Little, Are you rea-" Vani stopped asking the question after seeing me. She enter the room and was so shocked to see me like this.

"AYLA!!! WHAT THE FUCK? YOU LITERALLY THROWN US AWAY TO GET READY AND NOW WHY AREN'T YOU? EVERYONE IS WAITING FOR YOU OUTSIDE AND HERE YOU ARE-"  she a took a deep breath from refraining herself from scolding me further so she stopped abruptly.

She muttered saying "didn't even dress up" but I heard it.

She sighed while keeping her hands on my shoulders "Come let's get you to ready, hon"

I bite my lip in distress as again so many emotions flooded on me, I don't know what to say. I am excited and also at the same time I'm so nervous. My mind is kinda playing with me one side that I want it to be Aarav and another side it keeps on saying that it's not him.

One min I'm happy and the next min I'm getting worried over it. What if something bad is gonna happen there.

"Here come sit down" I did what she said and in the next 30 mins I got ready with her help. After thinking for a while I hesitated to let out my thoughts but I need to tell her or else I'll go nuts. I looked at Vani as she was redoing her makeup. I whispered her name but she didn't heard me. I cleared my throat and called her again. She raised her eyebrows while looking at me through the mirror asking me what?

What do I tell her now?

I sighed "I don't feel like going. Shall we stay here and binge watch Netflix" I looked at her and damn the look she gave me was enough for me to shut my mouth but still I continued even after looking at her horrific expression on her face, "What do you say?" I bite my lower lip in distress.

She looked at me for a while after taking a deep breathe "Bae don't be like this. I don't know what happened to you all of a sudden. You're looking so scared over something but please don't be. You have nothing to be scared off we're all here for you"

"I know but still I- " I couldn't able to finish it. Our door got opened and in came Rags, Amrita and Meera.

They looked at me and said "You're looking so pretty little" " Wowwww hottieeee" "Go mama fuck it"

I sighed at their choice of words and turned my head to the right side only to get my eyes lock with Aarav's intense gaze. I feel my cheeks get reddened. I blush instantly forgetting every single thing that are flashing me a red sign to not to go.

He looks so dashingly handsome. My god a simple white shirt with beige chinos looks so good on him. He looks so ravishing.

Our friends started to tease us like we both couldn't keep our eyes to ourselves. I just shrugged it off like nothing because I am mad at them for pulling that stunt. They have to know that they should not pull pranks like these.

After that we all went to the five star restaurant. My jaw dropped looking at the interior works. Yes I like cozy place but this is way too much. Who the hell pays fortune for a simple dinner surprise maybe it's not simple.

Ok I guess they're trying so hard to get my forgiveness. I mean come on we could have the same food with affordable price in so many places. I bet they even taste better than this restaurant.

While we are all having dinner Rags and Vani passed me a note saying that I have to follow these notes once we all done with the dinner.

What the hell is this A maze??

We all went to wash our hands and I was the one who came out first. I started looking around the place every single thing here screams money very loud and clear. I was fascinated at one point but then later I got bored, so I started going to our table but then a kid came running towards me gave a note and then again he ran away before I could ask him anything.

I looked at the note and opened it. It says,

Hi baby girl,

You look ravishingly hot today. Turn to your right and go straight. You will have your surprise for tonight.

Will be there waiting for you.

Instantly a smile appeared on my face while reading it, so it was him. A laugh escaped my mouth at his pranks. I was so fucking worried for nothing. I looked at the note again 'A' seriously what's with this 'A'?I mean he could have written his full name and I have to ask him about all of his stupid threats. I stopped on my tracks when I realised he called me witch last time on the note. I chuckled while glaring at the note while playfully tapping it against my hand. I resumed moving towards the direction as it stated in the note.

Even though I'm smiling at his antics my mind and heart are not at rest, they're screaming at me to turned around and go back but I shrug off the feeling.

I guess I'm getting anxious for nothing as Vani said. I was walking on the corridor when I felt someone pulled my hand into what looked like was.....!!!
