Lu Boyan was stunned. "You brought a female companion?" he asked.

"Why not? You can bring your wife, but I'm not allowed to bring a girl?"

Mu Sijue said this in a casual tone as if bringing a female companion to attend such an occasion was the norm for him.

Lu Boyan did not say anything more. He hung up and went back to tell Su Jian'an that Mu Sijue came with a female companion.

"Really?" Su Jian'an felt a headache coming on, "it's faster than I thought."

"Your thought?" Lu Boyan raised his eyebrows and looked at Su Jian'an, "What were you thinking of?"

Su Jian'an coughed and said, "I just felt that after Youning left, Sijue will look for other women who are completely different from Youning. He wants to prove to us that it does not have to be Youning."

"Boyan, believe what Jian'an said. She is always right about this kind of thing," Luo Xiaoxi broke in.
