1088 Wanting a Child



After everyone left, Xia Wen walked dispiritedly to the chair beside him and sat down. Recently, he had been avoiding having any interactions with Tan Jing. Every time he said something to Tan Jing, they would end up leaving on bad terms. "I actually came back today to discuss this matter with you. I don't know how the news got out, but I did tell my mother that I want to adopt that child," Tan Jing said as she looked at Xia Wen self-righteously.

As soon as Xia Mao and Xu Lan left, Tan Jing immediately showed her true self. She did not even want to pretend in front of Xia Wen anymore. She was really too tired.

Her mind was simply filled with thoughts of Qiao Mei now and she did not bother to understand what Xia Wen was trying to say. She only held on to her belief that she was being rejected by "Qiao Mei", "Father and Mother" and Xia Wen, and she stubbornly refused to listen to Xia Wen.
