1390 Grow Up in the Blink of an Eye



"Sister Feng, look at how fast the children have grown. It's only been a few months and they've already so big!" Qiao Mei said as she looked tenderly at the two children.

When the two babies were first born, she could not tell who their eyes and mouths resembled. Only Xu Lan and Li Gui could tell which part of the babies looked like which member of the family. At that time, she did not think that these two children looked like her at all.

Now that the children's small faces had grown, Xia Fan was starting to look more like Xia Zhe and Xia Xing was starting to look more like her.

"Children grow up so fast. They just keep changing every day. If you don't pay attention, you'll miss out on a lot of things," Feng Hua said.

In the past, when Feng Hua only took care of one child, her pay was 120 dollars a month. Now that she had to take care of two children alone, it was more than reasonable for her to be paid another 50 dollars a month.

"Third Cousin-in-law, the last time, I… I had scared the two children. I dare not go in to look for you, so I thought I'd just wait at the door. If anyone sees me, they can then bring me in," Shao Yin said pitifully.

Third Uncle? Qiao Mei looked at Shao Yin in surprise. Xia Guang had never asked her for anything. Furthermore, his entire family was still in her debt. Why would Xia Guang ask Shao Yin to come and beg her for help?
