"It's probably because of the upcoming performance. I hear that it's going to be a musical this time. She's the only one in the troupe who can play the lead role!" Huang Li said as she pouted.

"To think that your name 'Huang Li' means 'yellow oriole'. I never expected you to be tone deaf! If you can sing well, perhaps you can still fight it out with Senior Xia He!" Bai Dian said with a smile.

"Me? I'm a person who is totally self-aware! You don't even know how much hardships Senior Xia He went through in the past!" Huang Li said with some heartache.

Most people in the art troupe would choose to work behind the scenes once they turned 30 years old and provide guidance for the younger dancers who joined later. Very few people would be able to appear on stage at that age.

"Senior, do you know where Senior Yang Xin went? We also have a new troupe leader now!" Bai Dian asked curiously.
