Xia Zhe frowned slightly. There were so many people in the family who were not happy at work but none of them had ever come to ask Qiao Mei for anything, yet this completely unrelated person had come asking Qiao Mei for help.

Xia He immediately smiled and nodded. “Sure! I’ll get it done in a while!”

“Do my younger cousins want to take up the jobs? If you want to work at my factory, when do you want to start?” Qiao Mei asked.

“Now! Right now! I’ll get the two of them to report to you at the factory tomorrow! About the salary…” Zhou Luo emphasized the last word and waited for Qiao Mei’s answer.

Xia Lu and Xia Yan just sat there unmovingly, as if this entire matter had nothing to do with the two of them at all. They did not even say a word of thanks.

Qiao Mei did not really care about this. She just hoped that they would not cause trouble after knowing what the jobs entailed.

Zhou Luo was in a good mood today and kept drinking. She even asked the Xia family to help the Zhou family with other matters. She pestered Xia Wen to help arrange for her younger brother to work in government services, and also asked Xia Mao to help arrange for her younger sister to go to university.
