He Guo was still in prison and no one knew how he was doing. He Mei also did not know when he would be able to be released. He Wei hated He Guo to the core and did not care about him at all. The only person whom He Mei could count on was He Ning. She believed that He Ning would not do anything to her and that he would help her fulfill her wish.

"You can go in now. There's going to be a helper whose only job is to wait on you. Don't come out unnecessarily. If you need anything, just tell the helper. The helper knows what to do." He Ning left after saying that.

He had more important things to do. After about two to three hours, Jia Zhong walked up to He Ning with a pile of documents in his hand. It was a report of everything that Qiao Mei had done today. It was so detailed to the point that even what she ate was recorded down.

"Good job," He Ning said with a nod of satisfaction.

"Boss, you flatter me," Jia Zhong said.

"Go and protect He Mei during this period of time. This is a critical period and nothing can happen to her," He Ning said.

"Noted," Jia Zhong said.

Other than reporting his work, Jia Zhong did not say much. Compared to Huo Gao, he was like a cold-faced statue.
