“I’m fine. I’m very strong!” Qiao Mei said with a smile.
Qiao Mei knew her own limits. Things like farming, watering, sowing seeds were not difficult for her at all and she did not feel that it was tough or tiring. If it got to a point when it was too much for her physically, she would definitely take a break.

All the women busied themselves with the farm work in their respective courtyards. The men were not at home during the day. After lunch, everyone sat under the big tree opposite their houses for a chat.
