“Qiao Mei! Bad news, bad news! Don’t sleep anymore! Get up now!” Qian’e shouted towards Qiao Mei’s bedroom window.
Qiao Mei covered her ears with her hands and burrowed into Xia Zhe’s arms. It was always a very difficult task for her to get out of bed every day and yet someone had come to wake her up so early in the morning. She was so angry that she wanted to scream.
No wonder those roosters at home would crow so early in the morning. If she had to wake up so early, she would crow too!
“So annoying…” Qiao Mei said impatiently.
Xia Zhe covered Qiao Mei with the blanket, then he got changed and went to the courtyard. He looked at Qian’e calmly and said, “Come in first. Qiao Mei is still sleeping. Sister Xu has already made breakfast. Let’s go and have breakfast first. Qiao Mei will be up by the time we’re done.”
