1720 Coming to Ask For Medicine Again

Qiao Mei knew that things were definitely not that simple. Since Xia Zhe did not want to say anything, she did not ask further. When the time was right, Xia Zhe would naturally tell her. Liang Shu had also been pestering the siblings to go and get the medicine from Qiao Mei. Liang Lan could not take the pressure from Liang Shu anymore, so she had to come and look for Qiao Mei shamelessly.

Qiao Mei turned around and went home with Xia Zhe. She was not going to give Liang Shu the ginseng juice for nothing. She still did not know who the person in the photo was. After Xia Wen came over, Xia Zhe did not leave Qiao Mei's side the entire time. If he could, he would even accompany her to the toilet.

"Why do you keep following me around?" Qiao Mei asked curiously.

"I just want to accompany you," Xia Zhe said.

"You're acting really strangely. What exactly happened?" Qiao Mei looked into Xia Zhe's eyes and asked seriously.

Xia Zhe shook his head and hugged Qiao Mei as he said in a muffled voice, "Is it wrong for me to miss you?"

"Then I'll wait for you in the car," Xia Zhe said.

Qiao Mei slowly approached the Liang family's house with the medicinal wine. Liang Lan was already waiting at the door. The moment she heard the sound of a car outside, she ran to the door to welcome Qiao Mei.

"Then… since you've sent it over… leave quickly! You're not welcome in our house!" Liang Shu said furiously.

"Don't leave!" Liang Lan turned around and shouted at Liang Shu, "Mother! What are you doing! It's not easy for me to invite her over! Why are you chasing her away!"

Liang Shu sat obediently on the bed and did not speak. Qiao Mei did not blame Liang Shu. The purpose of her visit this time was not to get angry with Liang Shu. She wanted to get what she wanted first.
