“It’s fine! Quickly send these things to Shen City. My staff will meet you there. Make sure to send those spare parts in my courtyard over in batches. Don’t send them in one go since that will attract attention,” Qiao Mei instructed.

Xiang Chen and Wu Duo had gone to Shen City together. It was near the sea, so there was a port which facilitated trading. Furthermore, the city’s economy was only starting to take off and it was not as prosperous as Hu City and the capital yet, so they had a lot of leeway in doing business.

These five cities were the ones which would become key economic centers of the country in the future. Even then, the five cities ended up with varying degrees of economic success. This was also Qiao Mei’s way of testing Xiang Chen, to see if he had the aptitude for business.
She left the rest of the work to her staff and only needed to wait for the results. If she still had to handle everything herself, then she should not be a boss anymore.
