"Mei Mei, do you think what she said is reliable?" Xia He walked into the house and asked Qiao Mei worriedly.

Qiao Mei smiled indifferently and said, "It doesn't matter if it's real or fake. Elder sister, don't think about it anymore. Let's eat. Why hasn't Second Aunt-in-law come out of the kitchen after so long?"

The three of them quickly finished their meal and cleaned up before returning to their rooms to rest.

The next morning, Xia He woke up very early. She did not sleep well the entire night and felt flustered whenever she thought about what Qian'e had said. However, Qiao Mei was as calm and composed as if nothing had happened.
