Chapter 26

Sanuika stood there dumbfounded. Humans had seen what she had done. Because it was completely forbidden for humans to know about darkas gods, Sanuika knew that she had no option but to kill all the witnesses. Lest she got into trouble with Queen Sharaina and the Council of Elders.

Suddenly there was a strong wind and the humans screamed in terror. The wind blew their gadgets off their hands and into the air. Waxx, hidden in the wind, used his scythe to destroy all the gadgets around him.

Josh quickly grabbed Sanuika and the other girls followed him. Waxx opened a portal and they all got in. None of the humans saw them leave. When the wind that blinded them cleared up, they saw what was left of their gadgets on the ground.

"What just happened?" the teenage boy said once again.

"You fucking idiots!" Josh yelled at the girls back at the hide out.

Waxx and Josh walked back and forth in the room angrily grumbling to themselves. They were so angry at the girls that they couldn't express it enough.

Bruce and Daisy left their room in order to see what the ruckus was all about. They saw the girls sitting on a couch with their heads bowed and their hands on their laps. Derrick said nothing but drink his whiskey.

"How could you be so careless? Do you have any idea of what you could have done?!" Waxx angrily asked them.

He took note of their frowns and realized that the tone of his voice scared them. The feeling of guilt overtook his anger and he furrowed at them.

"I am sorry for yelling at you. It's just that what you did was reckless. Humans aren't supposed to know about us. Them knowing about us will make it difficult for other darkas gods to balance the levels of energy."

"We are sorry." Sana sincerely apologized.

"We didn't mean to cause any trouble." Sanuika added.

Waxx sighed and sat down. "It's alright. I don't blame you. You didn't know the consequences. You are drop outs after all." he softly remarked.

Josh gritted his teeth. "Well you know who I blame? I blame this mother fucker right here!" he pointed at Derrick who scowled appalled.

"I beg your pardon! How the fuck is this my fault?" Derrick angrily asked Josh.

"You should have stopped them from leaving!"

"My job isn't to baby sit asshole. You should have done that yourself!"

"You are lucky we destroyed the evidence you stupid son of a bitch!"

"Fuck you!"

Daisy yawned. "Oh shut up you two. It's over now. Let's look at important issues."

Waxx grinned at her. "I can see you have something interesting to tell us."

"I most certainly do. I recently hacked into the Police report files and found something on the Packet brothers. The police went after them this morning. Some guy named Rajat Madhan told them he could find out where they were with the help of GPS.

"I asked one of the officers to wear one of my bags and it led to the outskirts of Kansas City. I ,however lost the signal but fortunately, I was able to pin point the exact location. We can start our mission from there." Daisy finished.

"Excellent! The sooner we get our hands on that medallion, the better." Waxx grinned.

Danny and Lil Jack finished loading the last bodies into the truck while Billy, Monique and Madeline watched them. It took them at least four rounds to transport them out of there.

Lil Jack wiped the sweat off his forehead. He and Danny were feeling so exhausted. They wouldn't have felt so tired had Billy helped them. His bullet wound made him completely useless.

"Make that bitch talk tonight. Use any means necessary. If she doesn't say anything by the time we get back, feed her to these two." Danny told Billy much to the pleasure of the vampires.

"And if she does talk?" Billy asked Danny.

"Still feed her to them." Lil Jack answered instead. He got into the passenger seat of the truck.

"You got it?" Danny asked Billy before getting into the truck.

"Yeah." Billy answered.

After they drove off into the woods, Billy got into the cabin. He saw red lipstick on the table and on the floor were 16 darts. He picked the lipstick and darts and then proceeded to go down to the basement.

Rose was tied up even tighter. This time she was not lying down but sitting on a chair. Just in front of her was a trail of Rajat's blood. She was forced to spend hours looking at it. Billy laughed and walked to her. She did not lift her head to look at him. Her shaggy hair covered her face.

Billy tore her blouse open and roughly took out her bra. He ogled at her naked breasts. They were small but firm and attractive. Billy took the lipstick and drew three rings on each. He painted her nipples red. He stepped back to marvel at Rose's breasts that now looked like dart boards.

Nodding his head in satisfaction, Billy picked up a fallen chair and sat on it. He put the darts on his laps and smirked at poor, pathetic and helpless Rose.

"Who sent you?" he asked her but Rose remained silent. "Okay then."

Billy picked one dart, closed one eye and aimed it at one of Rose's breasts. He threw it and it landed with a sting. Rose screamed sharply at it.

"Talk bitch, talk! I have all night. Tell me who sent you?!"

"Fuck you, you murdering psycho. You and your brothers killed Whitney!" Rose screamed back at him.

Billy threw another dart and she screamed again.

"I don't know anyone by the name of Whitney. I don't keep track of the people I kill especially whores." he mocked her and threw another dart.

"Where is that bastard Steve? Why isn't he here to see another victim of his die?" Rose bubbled into a giggle. "I'm I not special enough?"

"Steve? I can see you are referring to my little brother. That stupid son of a bitch doesn't have what it takes to be a true Packet. He can't even kill. What a waste of Packet blood." Billy sneered and Rose gasped.

"Steve didn't kill Whitney?" her teary eyes widened.

"I am the one asking questions! Tell me who sent you!"

"Get bent!" Rose yelled back at him. Billy threw two more darts at her and she screamed louder.

"Monique, it appears Billy is going all out on her." Madeline lazily said.

"I just hope he doesn't kill her. I like my food alive." Monique popped her bubblegum bored.

"Oh really?" A voice suddenly sounded and it startled them.

Standing away from the porch were they sat was Akirexer in black tights. The tights covered her entire body except her hand that bore her dragon mark. She wore a black cloak with a hood that the wind blew from side to side.

The two vampires got into battle mode. They knew that when it came to darkas gods, it was wound or get killed.

"What brings you here darkas god?" Madeline asked her.

"That's none of your business. Get out of my way and you will be spared." Akirexer responded with ice laced in her voice.

"What an arrogant bitch." Madeline snarled in disgust.

She ran to Akirexer and threw a punch. Akirexer caught her punch in a tight grip. Madeline pulled back hard but Whitney's hold was of steel. She screamed for Monique who did not waste time to rush to her aid.

Monique picked up one of the trashed cars and threw it at Akirexer. Akirexer used her free hand to focus gamarax on a tree. The tree got uprooted and she used it to block the car. She then used it to hit Monique hard. Monique crushed into the cabin and landed straight into the basement. Rose passed out.

"What the fuck?" Billy coughed.

Akirexer punched a hole into Madeline. Madeline gazed into Akirexer's glowing red eyes and turned white with fear. Akirexer held her neck and choke slammed her to the ground so hard that she turned into vampire dust. Her remains were blown away by the weeping wind.

Akirexer slowly and steadily walked to the cabin. She focused her gamarax on the roof and the timber broke at an invisible force. Soon the whole roof was crumpled up and ripped it off.

"Get up," Billy tried to wake Monique up but she was out cold.

He gave up and abandoned her underneath the log and rubble. Billy cautiously walked up the stairs and was shocked to see no roof. He peeped to see who was causing so much havoc. He caught sight of Akirexer outside and assumed it was a powerful vampire sent to rescue Rose.

Billy desperately ran back down the basement and untied unconscious Rose. He picked her up and placed a gun to her head.

Akirexer stood there watching him drag an unconscious woman. Akirexer gasped upon recognizing Rose. Her blood boiled at the bad shape she was. The scene painfully reminded her of what had happened to her.

"I know you want her. Let me go or else I will kill her." Billy threatened.

"You bastard," Akirexer clenched her fists, "You harm yet another soul."

Akirexer took off her hood revealing herself. Billy's jaw dropped in astonishment.

"You! You are supposed to be dead!" he blurted out.

"I am going to kill you,"

Rose weakly opened her eyes. She could hardly see anything anymore because her contact lenses went to the back of her eyes. Despite her poor vision, Rose knew that she was outside the cabin. She turned her eyes and saw a feminine figure standing not so far away from her and Billy.

Akirexer started walking towards them. Billy shot at her but the bullets bounced off of her and hit other objects. In panic, Billy aimed the gun back at Rose. His grip on the gun was so shaky that he feared he would drop it.

"Stay away from me!" he raised his voice in fright. "Stay back! I will kill her, I swear!"

Akirexer chuckled and continued approaching him. Billy pulled the trigger but to his surprise, he shot his own hand. Groaning in pain, he lifted his head only to see Rose safe in Akirexer's arms. She focused her gamarax on Rose and pulled her away from Billy right before he pulled the trigger.

Akirexer ignored Billy's groans of pain. She got down on her knee and gently put Rose on the ground. Akirexer gazed into Rose's weak eyes and her heart ached. She clenched her jaw at the macabre sight of her naked breasts with holes in them. Akirexer didn't mind that some of the blood got onto her cloak.

The last time she saw Rose looking so vulnerable was on the day she first met her. Overtime, Rose had grown into a confident and bold woman so seeing her like that really hurt her. Akirexer used her thumb to wipe dried up blood from Rose's lip.

"It's okay, no one will hurt you anymore. I'm here now." she softly said to her.

That voice...Whitney is that you? Rose thought to herself.

Rose tilted her head and squinted her eyes at Akirexer. She couldn't see her face clearly but there was no denying that something about her was familiar.

"Whitney," Rose smiled and passed out again.

Akirexer let go of her and stood up. She smirked at Billy staggering away towards the west. With flash steps, she pursued him. She pulled his shirt from behind and threw him onto a tree. Billy fell to the ground curved his back in pain.

Akirexer picked him up by his neck. She held him high up in the air with one hand. Billy shrieked at the sight of her blood thirsty red eyes glaring sharply at him.

"Please don't hurt me." Billy begged and wobbled his feet desperately. "I am just working for a vampire. You should understand now that you have become one yourself."

"While you beg for your life, you choose to insult the one holding it. Who says that I am a vampire? Has your fear blinded you so much that you can't see that I am a superior being?" Akirexer mocked Billy and he whimpered.

"I can work for you." Billy bargained with hopeful eyes.

Akirexer squeezed his neck and Billy vigorously moved his legs. He couldn't breathe. "Does it hurt? I'm I hurting you?" she whispered and creepily tilted her head. "You look scared. You fucking should be."

Akirexer dropped Billy to the ground. He coughed violently and gasped in an attempt to reopen his air passages. The sight of Akirexer standing there with a dark grin turned his blood cold. Billy forced himself up and escaped into the woods.

He, unfortunately, couldn't run because of his bullet wounds and backache. His only desire to survive kept him going. As he trotted away, he pulled out his phone from his pocket and dialled Danny's number.

"Pick up pick up."

Far deep into the woods, Danny's phone rang in his back pocket. He pulled it out and flatly stared at it ringing. Danny faced forward and watched Lil Jack dump a body into a pit with several others in it. The bodies at the back of the truck indicated that there was still much work to do.

Danny cut the call and put it on silent before shoving the phone back in his pocket. Whatever Billy had to say could wait. He put his hands back to work with Lil Jack - his phone flashing a light in his back pocket.

Billy gapped dismayed by his brother's actions. He had to find a way out on his own without the help of Danny and Lil Jack. Akirexer's sudden playful chuckle nearly forced a scream out of him. The last thing Billy needed was to blow his cover.

"Billy! Oh Billy! Come out come out wherever you are." he heard her sing.

"Shit shit shit." Billy panicked as he jogged on with his hand on his fresh wound.

"Come on Billy, the sooner I kill you, the better. We can't waste anymore time here. You're not the only bastard I have to deal with." Akirexer burst out laughing again but louder.

Hearing her laughter made Billy restless. He was even more afraid than before. The thought of finding a place to hide crossed his mind because he knew that out running her was impossible.

Billy frantically looked around for a cave or something. He spent years in those woods but his fear crippled his memory. What a horrible dread it was.

Akirexer suddenly landed in front of him and he skidded right into her punch. Billy fell back with a bleeding nose. He stayed down groaning in pain.

"How does it feel like to feel helpless? To have someone else treat you like shit?" Akirexer kicked hard in his ribs.

He tried to crawl away but Akirexer stomped him back down. She grabbed his collar and thrust him back. His loud grunts forced a scoff out of Akirexer's lips.

"I remember you now. You're the one who mentioned that my body was still warm enough to rape." she nodded her head as if trying to convince herself. "Yes, it was definitely you."

Billy raised his stained hand up. "I am sorry, okay? Please!"

Akirexer stretched out her hand and off came her dragon mark. It morphed into her sword and Billy's heart dropped. Billy screamed as loud as he could in hopes that maybe his brothers would hear him. Maybe, just maybe, they were on their way back.

Billy tried to get away but she pulled his leg and threw him against a tree. This time Billy lost all his strength. Akirexer pulled his hair up and raised her sword.

"Please, don't kill me." Billy dropped a tear.

"Where is that bastard? I went to his house but found a different family." Akirexer pulled his hair hard and he winced. "Where is he?!"

Instead of answering Akirexer's question, Billy screamed. That only angered Akirexer more. She sank her fingers into his skull, screaming at him to answer her until she heard a crack.

Her fingers felt through broken bone, hair and warm blood. With her perfect sight, she clearly saw Billy's slimy brain in her hand. Her eyes remained wide with her face stained. Akirexer withdrew her hand and Billy's body fell face down.

She blinked once, twice, thrice and took a step back.

"I can't believe I still don't know my own strength." Akirexer complained to herself as the broken skull oozed out blood. The metallic scent of it disgusted her. She turned away and headed back to the cabin.

Akirexer went straight to Rose upon arriving. She picked her up, put her over her shoulder and opened a portal to the local hospital. When she got there, she gently put Rose on the pavement and disappeared into another portal.

Akirexer reappeared on the rooftop of a building opposite the local hospital. She stood there as the wind blew her hair and cape, watching Rose. Minutes later, a man and woman walked out of the hospital. The man quickly ran to Rose and felt for a pulse.

"Go and call a nurse!" Akirexer heard him tell the woman and she ran inside.

Soon nurses were out and they had a stroller. They put Rose on it and took her inside. Akirexer was relieved that Rose was in safe hands. A nurse spotted her on the rooftop. Akirexer turned away immediately. It was time that she left anyway. She put her hood back on and lunged into the air.

"One down, three to go."
