Chapter 70
Meelzib weakly walked forward and spread his arms apart. His long white hair was blown by the wind. He breathed in the fresh air and let out a gentle frail laugh. The vampires cheered after him but the darkas gods felt tensed. Escabitha openly gloated at his magnificence. She thought back to how she met him.
Escabitha met him at the lowest point in her life. It was during the time when she felt worthless and alone in a cold and cruel world. She wasn't a damsel in distress but a monster that was tired of hunting without satisfaction. She was living a life of no purpose, no passion and without love. The only company she had was her shadow and even it left her when the darkness came.
Escabitha searched for her sisters everywhere for years but her search was fruitless. She desperately wanted to end their lives because she believed that their deaths were going to set her free from all the pain and hurt she was forced to endure.
If only she didn't waste time looking at her mother's corpse, she would have made it in time before the police and child services got to her sisters. She hated that they were still alive and well. They had each other while she had no one. She couldn't understand why they deserved happiness and not her. They were nurtured to life while she was cast aside like trash.
A lump formed in Escabitha's throat as she walked towards the Pacific Ocean. All she wanted to do was to drown herself. She couldn't bear the thought of living another meaningless day. It was exactly midnight when she allowed herself to sink into the ocean. She was more than ready to die.
A portal opened above the water and down fell the Infinite Medallion. It's bright light attracted Escabitha's attention and she swam over to it without thinking. Escabitha took hold of it and gazed upon it. It beamed brightly in her hands. Suddenly, a huge bubble formed around her and she was able to breath again.
Escabitha got stricken by fear. She forgot the medallion and poked the bubble but it didn't pop. She applied more force but it still didn't burst. Escabitha dropped the medallion and began to panic.
"Do not be afraid." A deep and authoritative voice sounded from the medallion.
"It speaks?" Escabitha whispered underneath her breath.
"Foolish woman, the medallion is acting as a communication medium. It doesn't speak." The voice sternly clarified.
"Who are you?" Escabitha asked, perplexed.
"Come closer and I will tell you." This time, the voice was kind.
Escabitha reluctantly knelt down and looked around. She saw nothing but darkness outside the bubble. After so much hesitation, she finally picked up the medallion.
"Look into the bright light of the medallion." The voice ordered her.
Escabitha became afraid. She hesitated again but when she remembered that she had nothing to lose, she looked deep into the medallion. Her eyes started beaming red. She felt as though someone was forcefully holding her head in order to stop her from looking away.
Escabitha panicked and let go of the medallion but it didn't drop. It stayed up in the air. Escabitha looked deeper into the light and she saw an old man bound by chains in what appeared to be a dungeon. His hands and feet were chained to a rocky chair. Guarding him was a monster that Escabitha was unable to see clearly. Escabitha looked around and only saw total darkness.
"I believe that you can clearly see me now, girl." The old man said.
"Yes I can. Where are you?" She asked him.
"I am in a place you wouldn't want to know about. It is supposed to be my prison for all eternity." The man slowly but boldly replied.
"Who are you?" Escabitha asked him again.
"I am the rightful ruler of Dark Star, King Meelzib."
Escabitha gasped. "You are the darkas god King? I thought that Dark Star is been ruled by a queen."
"That witch rose up against me and turned my armies against me. She took away my kingdom and banished me to this horrible place." Meelzib said and coughed.
"King Meelzib, I still don't understand what you want from me. You and I are predator and prey. We share no other form of relationship than that." Escabitha pointed out her concerns.
"I want you to help me get my kingdom back." Meelzib curtly stated.
Escabitha felt skeptical. "What can I possibly do to help you? Need I remind you that I am a vampire? I am a half vampire for that matter. Before you showed up, I was about to kill myself."
"Your failure to locate your sisters doesn't justify your need for suicide." Meelzib coughed again but violently this time.
Escabitha gasped. "You know about my sisters?" She asked, surprised.
"I am King Meelzib. I know everything I want to know."
"Regardless, I won't be of much help to you." Escabitha stood her ground.
"The medallion chose you therefore it is you that I need in order to achieve my objective."
Escabitha fell silent and thought about his words.
"How did you get the medallion? You are in a dungeon." Escabitha voiced out her concern.
Meelzib laughed softly. His laugh sounded like little huffs of air escaping his lungs. "You are a smart one, I see. Well if you must know, I traded my dragon for it with a demon." Meelzib coughed.
"I have spent thousands of years plotting on how I can get my kingdom back. I have a plan and I need your help. If you assist me, I will show you where your sisters are. I'll even go as far as making you powerful and with the medallion, you will be invisible. All you have to do is do as I command. Do we have a deal?"
Escabitha smiled deviously. "You had me on finding my sisters."
Meelzib was pleased with her answer. "What is your name child?" He asked.
Escabitha developed a hurt look on her face that was soon overcome by the look of embarrassment. "I... I don't... I don't have a... name." She forced the words. "No one named me."
Meelzib laughed. "From here on out, you will be known as Escabitha, Great One of the vampires."
The bubble took Escabitha out of the ocean and popped on the beach. Escabitha looked at the Infinite medallion in her hand. It stopped glowing the moment her connection with Meelzib cut. His last instruction to her was to go in search of strong vampires across the globe with the guidance of the Infinite medallion. These vampires formed the Day Walkers.

Commander Diavinx was still trapped in Ezio's world. He received several cuts to chest and stomach. The clones were stained by his blood. They kept chanting,
'Finish him! Finish him! Finish him!'
Commander Diavinx became desperate to escape.
Surely there must be a way out of this! He pondered.
The one that was cutting him with a spear stopped and dropped the bloody spear. All the clones drew their attention to the spear. The chanting stopped and was replaced by silence.
"Commander I have just realized that killing you won't be as fun as I thought it would." Ezio smiled. "Instead, I will erase you from existence by killing the real you in this time period."
"What?" Commander Diavinx gasped.
All the clones ran out of the market. They were all heading to Diavinx's old home. Not even one clone stayed behind. Diavinx weakly got back to his feet. He knew that he couldn't let Ezio succeed in his diabolical plan. He staggered out of the market.
Diavinx started jogging. As he jogged, he increased his momentum. The faster he ran, the more he felt his wounds tearing up. He didn't stop despite the pain. All he wanted was to save himself. When he got to his house, he found the clones already there. They were busy wrecking his house. He saw two clones dragging the real him out of the house and forcing him down to his knees.
Commander Diavinx became furious and grabbed a stick. He started whacking the clones like a maniac. He found his way to himself and hit the clones that were holding him hostage. Diavinx proceeded to protect himself. The clones attacked him left right and center. Due to his injuries, Diavinx was unable to keep up so he was knocked down to the ground.
As he lay on the ground, Diavinx noticed that none of the clones were attacking the real him. The main target was still himself. He thought back to how they were attacking him and not hurting the real him despite all the openings he gave them. It was at that moment that Diavinx knew what to do.
He picked a dagga that was lying on the ground and he forced himself up. He avoided the three clones that charged at him and came face to face with himself. Diavinx stabbed himself and everything went blank. He found himself back in the Kremis dimension and he was back to himself. He still had the dagga stabbed into Ezio who looked at him with astonished eyes.
"No one has ever escaped my illusions." Ezio weakly said.
"I wouldn't have hadn't you protected yourself so much." Diavinx gloated.
Ezio smirked and fell to the ground unconscious. Commander Diavinx turned his attention to the battlefield. He was puzzled that the fighting had stopped. What baffled him most was that everyone was looking up. He looked up too and was astonished to see Meelzib.
Meelzib took the Infinite medallion away from Escabitha and held it high up in the air. It began to glow and to the surprise of the darkas gods, the vampires started to tremble in fear. Others cut and run. One by one they were getting absorbed by Meelzib. Many escaped to the caves.
Quix watched Sir Wayne curse at Escabitha for her betrayal. He cursed her until his last breath. Quix backed away from the vampire dust that spread out after Sir Wayne was completely absorbed. The vampires were shocked at Escabitha's treachery. The reality that they were just pawns in Meelzib's plan disgusted them. The war against the darkas gods was just a fuss and they wanted no part in it anymore.
Meelzib put the medallion down after his fill. He was no longer old and weak but young and strong. He looked between the ages of 33 and 38. His white hair was back to dark green and white tips. His body was made of so much muscle that his robe could barely cover him up. His dragon mark was clearly seen across his hard chest. Meelzib laughed evilly.
"Finally, the time has come for me to take back what is mine." He thundered. "Escabitha! Come to me my loyal maiden!" He ordered Escabitha and she obeyed.
"I still remember our deal." Meelzib said and looked over to Akirexer and Britney.
His attention was drawn to Akirexer. He looked at her so much that she felt uncomfortable.
Umandaang. He thought.
I didn't expect to see him again. Umandaang said to Akirexer..
From the look of things, you are not the only one. Akirexer responded.
Escabitha stood face to face with Meelzib. He clenched the medallion in his fist and punched it into Escabitha. He transferred some of his gamarax into her and she screamed in pain. Meelzib took out his hand and watched Escabitha turn into a gigantic bat of 73 feet.
Escabitha immediately charged at Akirexer, Alex and Britney. Akirexer summoned Umandaang and he blocked her attack. Escabitha shrieked furiously and flew up in the air. Akirexer got onto Umandaang with her sword out. Britney called out her name.
"Please come back to me." Britney emotionally pleaded.
"I will return. You don't have to worry." Akirexer smiled at Britney and Alex.
Umandaang launched up and flew after Escabitha.
"Are you ready none pure?" He excitedly asked her.
"Let's do this!" Akirexer yelled.
