SORA

He goes outside and he is right I hear voices and they are here. What I wouldn't do to suddenly vanish. I'm sure I'm sweating and pale, I try to straighten my dress out more as look into a spoon to see if my hair is ok.

"Where is she? I am so excited!" I hear a delicate feminine woman's voice and I hear Kane's grunt.

"Calm woman you will scare the girl." A man says as all three enter the kitchen and I feel like a deer caught in headlights.

"Oh, Kane! She's gorgeous! Look Alfred she is perfect for our Kane.. oh my I'm going to cry." The woman says hysterically fanning her eyes and I chuckle nervously looking between his mom and his dad who rolls his eyes.

"Pleasure to meet you Sora, I'm Alfred and this crazy woman is my wife, Claire." Alfred says politely with amusement in his voice.

I shake his hand. "Nice to meet you Sir." I say nervously. "And nice to meet you, Ma'am." I smile at her grinning looking at me and Kane.

"OH please call me Claire dear! And we hug in this family!" She says happily as she brings me in for a hug and I laugh looking at Kane who is watching silently with a knowing smile on his lips.

"And please call me Alfred or Al! Sir makes me feel old." Alfred says with a huff.

"I'm so happy Kane found you, oh honey I am so happy! I finally get to have grandchildren." She says dreamily to her husband and I freeze.

"Mother please." Kane says with a warning.

Claire looks at me apologetically. "I'm sorry dear, I'm just so happy! Come let's sit and please tell me all about you! And in return, I will show you baby photos of Kane." She says with a smirk.

"Mother." Kane warns as his dad just booms with laughter and slaps Kane on the back.

"We are allowed to embarrass you son! Here Sora, I can show you this one I brought, it was his first shift! He was this tiny ball of fur and already wanting to fight for the Alpha title." He says amusingly as he goes to sit in the living room.

He hands me a photo and I'm gushing. "This is you?" I ask Kane and he nods not looking at me.

Is he shy?! I grin up at him and he rolls his eyes. Something he rarely does.

"Cute little pup wasn't he?" His mother Claire says beside me as she admires me, smiling happily.

I nod smiling looking at this photo. He looks so cute. It's a photo of Kane as a wolf pup and Alfred and Claire beside him, they look exactly how they do right now. They haven't aged a day.

To anyone else, this photo would just be a young couple holding a small wolf.

"The cutest." I say teasingly and Kane just groans.

"You're killing me babe." He says as he sits down opposite me as his parents are sitting on either side of me. He is looking jealously at them with a frown on his face.

His parents laugh. "Oh hush!" Claire says as she nudges me and shows me all of his baby photos. He looked so happy in every single one of them and incredibly adorable!

"He was a very happy boy, loved to hunt! And build things, he's always been determined and too stubborn to give up." Claire says happily as Alfred nods in agreement.

"Did you know he built this house for you?" She says with a huge smile and I nod shyly causing Kane to groan out again. "Mother, she knows everything." He states.

Claire and Alfred freeze and look at each other than Kane and then me. "Everything?" Alfred asks.

Kane nods. "Everything."

"My my." Claire says amazed.

I shift uncomfortably at the awkwardness but it doesn't last long.

"It's all just talk darling. The curse." Alfred says beside me as I look at him. "It's a gift, never mistake that we are blessed. The moon goddess chose our son to carry this gift." He says and Claire nods and grabs my hand.

"It's a lot to take in but you are strong, human or not you are also a gift to us Sora, you will be a great Luna for this pack and my husband and I are proud to welcome you to our family." Claire says softly and I feel loved and welcomed by her words. My tears are threatening to escape but I refuse to let them.

Kane stands up and we all watch him as he smiles widely at me. Shocking both of his parents. I'm sure they haven't seen him smile this much for a long time by their reaction.

"Let's eat, I'm starving." Kane says as he holds my hand to help me off the sofa then he leans in to kiss my forehead.

"Steaks!" Alfred says happily as Claire chuckles.

Well, this first meeting went better than I expected.

With Kane's hand in mine as he sneaks looks at me as we walk outside to the grill and outdoor table and chairs, I feel truly at home with this incredible man. This is truly the happiest I've ever been in my life and I'm so happy that his family is here and I met them.

I'm feeling incredibly good right now.

Despite how sore my legs are and how much I feel him every time I walk. I know today is going to be a good day.

"Let's eat!" I say happily.
