"Oh my God! You're pale!"

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"

"I need some fresh air." I say breathlessly as I hold onto Amanda for support.

I desperately need fresh air.

Amanda and Emma hold onto me as we walk past the curious stares of pack members as they lead me outside. I lean again the car we came in, Lucas's truck as I catch my breath.

"Sora? Are you better now?" Amanda asks.

Emma looks at me worried and Amanda is rubbing my arm up and down trying to calm me, and it works. But I'm still so terrified.

"I'm having twins." I blurt out.

They both look at me and smile and I feel my stomach churn. I should be happy. I am happy but the thought of Kane not being happy about this terrified me. I don't want this to be a problem because for me it changes nothing.

I start to feel the tears drop as I cover my eyes with my hands and cry into them. "Oh god.. I'm scared." I say crying into my hands.

Amanda and Emma hug me from either side. "Hey hey, shhh it's okay, this is wonderful news Sora please don't cry." Emma says softly and I cry harder.

"I'm going back in there! I want to know what is going on right now!" Amanda says and I freeze.

"NO!" I shout desperately. "Wait! No-one can know, Kane can't know, i-i don't know what he will do."

Emma raises her brow confused. "Well he will be overjoyed, why do you think he would not be happy about this Sora? Alpha Kane loves you." She says softly and I wipe my eyes on my sweater.

"T-the curse." I mumble out through hiccups. "One of the twins has what Kane has.." I say quietly as I glance at both of them worried.

Emma snorts and Amanda smiles at me. "Oh honey, no.. this is not a big deal, Kane knew there is always a possibility, and not once did I hear him say anything bad about the fact one of his pups could demon blood." Emma says.

"It's true. He has mentioned this to Lucas in the past, believe us when we say he will love and protect those pups forever, demon blood, fae blood, or whatever! Kane will be happy that they are healthy and that you are healthy, everything else is just that.. everything else." Amanda says smiling as she waves her hands in the air to 'everything else'.

I laugh as I try to wipe my eyes. Oh God stop crying, please Sora! My eyes are going to be swollen if not already.

"I'm sorry.... I just panicked and.. I just know how the burden weighs on him and now the same burden on one of my children.. I got scared." I say truthfully as I take a deep breath.

Amanda and Emma both hold one of my hands each. "We are all proud you are our Luna and Queen, you are strong, Kane has never been happier, this changes nothing for any of us." Emma says and Amanda nods agreeing with her.

I sniffle. "Thanks, girls, I'm such a mess.. gosh I really just.. damn I feel so stupid now."

Amanda snorts. "Please, Kane is going to be an amazing daddy, if anything he is going to spoil them rotten once we move back to The Vale." She says as she opens the car door for us to get inside.

I freeze. What? "The Vale?" I look at her confused and she shrugs.

"You're a queen now, and to be married.. once Kane comes back you both will be crowned in ceremony together and rule The Vale. I thought you knew this?" Emma says confused as she sits next to be in the back of the car.

I... did not know. But it all makes sense. I just didn't think about it till now. Everything is moving too fast and too soon. Moving here, meeting Kane... a freaking war and now twins?

Not to mention that the world is in chaos and I'm now co-ruler with an Alpha king with demon blood, who happens to be the strongest creature to be in this time frame, who is also my mate.

I grip the envelope hard and smile. "Yeah.. I.. I just forgot about it." I say as I stare out at the passing forest trees.

Emma squeezes my hand reassuringly. "It's a lot too soon, we know this, but you have us and we are here for you, what are friends for right?" She says grinning and I smile and nod.

"Seriously, I would be lost without you two." I laugh quietly.

Amanda smiles back at us and then we all stare at the road in horror as Amanda puts her foot on the brake hard. Causing us all to move forward in our seat belts.

What the hell.

"Everyone okay?" Emma asks worriedly.

"Mmh, yeah I just hit my head, I'm fine." Amanda mutters.

We all stare in horror at the figure in the middle of the road. Dressed in a robe and a hood that is large enough to cover their face. To any human you would think the grim reaper is standing in the middle of the road but to The Vale...

"Orion.. how.. how did they get inside." Amanda says in horror as the figure starts to move forward slowly.

I stare in horror as I hold my stomach proactively. I see Emma and her claws come free as she shifts halfway and she states at me. "Sora, head down, do not leave the car and lock the door after me." She commands and I nod my head scared.

Emma leaves the car and I hear the cracking of bones than a giant grey wolf where Emma once stood. Amanda grips my hand as I keep my head down. My heart is beating out of my chest and I close my eyes. Oh, this cannot be happening right now.

Suddenly I hear a loud yell as I whip my head up and see Emma's large wolf laying on the pavement with the creature's leg over her throat.

Amanda cries silently as her handshakes in mine.

"I want Sora for the mutt life, now or I kill she-wolf." The dark being screeched to me as the yelps from Emma are louder with blood now noticeable next to her.

"W-what should I do? it will kill her." I say panicky as I stare at the thing in terror.

"I mind-linked everyone in Deepwater, no one is harming you Sora." Amanda says confidently as her hand grips mine.

"I count down, if no show I kill mutt." The Orion creature screams.

"NO!" I yell in horror as I try to open the locked car door.

I glare at Amanda. "AMANDA! OPEN THE DOOR!" I yell out as I try to open it.

"AMANDA!!!" I say yelling as I try to kick the door open. She shakes her head furiously shaking and silently sobbing.

"We can't just sit and let that thing kill her!" I cry out.

"I cant! I can't open this door, please!" I claw at the window while begging Amanda.

The world freezes and suddenly I see the dark creature smirk for a mere second before legions of wolves leap from the forest on either side of the road at the dark creature.

Snarling and fierce growling coming from the giant pack members wolves as they tear the thing to shreds as I and Amanda watch in horror as a knock on the car window beside me makes us jump.

"Alpha queen, are you ok? Are you hurt?" A pack member asks.

I nod my head at the man quickly as Amanda unlocks the door. I quickly glare at her as I urgently open the side door as I step out.

"You're safe now, we took care of it, it's probably best you stay inside the ca-"

I interrupt the giant pack member as I glare at him. "Quiet!"

The snarling of wolves and the pack that came to our rescue back off from the creature lying in the middle of the road, lifeless, blooded, and ripped to pieces, my eyes focus on Emma as her wolf lays there not moving.

I run over to her but I'm stopped by the same man who knocked on the window. "She's alive, barely. We will take her Alpha queen." The man says and I nod as tears escape from my eyes.

I look up at him and he seems familiar. "T-thank you, if you hadn't come.. she.. she'd be.."

He interrupts me. "No one will get a mile of you Luna, I promise you, this will not happen again." He promises.

"Thank you, and please keep me informed of her condition, please.." I say as Amanda comes to my side as she hugs me and I hug her back.

"Thank you, Eric Miller, you just saved our lives." Amanda says gratefully.

Miller? "Do you have a brother?" I ask quickly before the man turned around.

He raises a brow and shakes his head. "Jonas? He is my mate." He says as he bows his head and walks away to the wolves he came with.

I watch them as they take Emma's large wolf body away on a stretcher, carried back to a truck by strong pack members as we watch silently, praying that she will be alright.

Please please please be alright.

I stand in that spot and for some reason, I get a bad feeling deep in my gut that something is happening, I feel it in the shift in the trees.

The body of the creature in the road lays lifeless, its pitch-black eyes staring right at me and I knew then that this was just a warning.
