Too late to plead

I suggested and she didn't even reject my suggestion as I went to grab two glasses of water and she helped me carry it as we walked through the backdoor and towards them.

“Magnus came to ask us for help. There is a war coming. This is what wanted to discuss with you.” I could hear Ace telling Alpha Kai as he nodded.

“We’ll talk about it next time.”

It seemed that they were talking so seriously and were in a deep conversation before we even got there. And upon our arrival, they suddenly stopped. They must have not wanted us to hear it.

And alas, with their alpha abilities, their eyes simultaneously turned to us.

I could see that Ace smirking at me...

He dropped the axe he was holding as he wiped my cheeks, “Did you like the view, sweetheart?"

I wanted to tease him and smiled at him, "Definitely." I then grabbed a glass of water and let him drink it.

"You know we could sense you two watching us and gawking there. " He added, and I could see Arya acting nonchalantly to Kai but he dropped the axe he was holding and came to her too.

“Hey, you finally befriend each other?” I heard Alpha Kai asking her...

She nodded and pointed at the sweat on his abs. "You're sweating."

He raised his eyebrows, "Am I? Wipe it off then." I blinked, glancing at Ace who seemed to be enjoying the sight of the two. What a devious plan there, Alpha Kai.

She cleared her throat, almost doing it..well, almost as she responded with, "Wipe it yourself. I do not have any towel with me."

This is the first time that I have seen Alpha Kai smirking at her. "Use your tongue then. What more do you use it for other than licking my whole body?" He whispered it in his deep voice...so low that only she could hear it.

Well, except for Alpha Ace beside us who managed to hear it as he chuckled while I looked at him with a confused expression.

Gosh, they are moving so boldly here.

I could see that Arya gave him a look, “Kai…”

“What? It was just a suggestion.”’

But Arya did the opposite. She walked closer to him until they were one inch apart, and she knew that the two lovebirds beside them were watching them as they became quiet.

Alpha Kai seemed a bit shocked that she was doing it and she could sense some panic in it, which only urged her to continue. Her hands traveled to his abs as she lightly touched them and she could feel him slightly shiver at her touch.

“Arya…” He mumbled as Arya stuck her tongue out at him and playfully glided it on his chest, and he sucked a deep breath.

She caught a taste of his sweat and as much as she would like to regard it as disgusting, in the heat of the moment, all she could think about is how satisfied she is with his ragged breathing. She teased him a bit more as she leaned down and went to one of his abs before pulling back up to lick his collarbone before letting out her warm breath purposely on the back of his ear that seemed to turn red from her actions.

Gosh. I couldn’t bear to watch this anymore! I glanced at Ace wanting to leave now but he stopped me.

He then leaned in and whispered, "You're finally friends with her. Good girl."

I blushed at his pet name at me, goodness. this is bad for my health.

"Shut up." I hit him playfully and his chest rumbled on, I could just feel his musty scent, and that swat on his olive-toned skin, flowing down his hard-toned abs. I licked my lips and he smirked seeing where my eyes were trailing.

"Want to have a taste of this late?" I heard his mind linking me and I widened my eyes at him, scolding him in my mind that this is inappropriately not the good time right now.

He wiggled his eyebrows and I just rolled my eyes.

I saw Arya was finished at what the hell she was doing, she raised her eyebrows at him and asked in a mocking tone, “There. Done,” and I could hear Ace beside me teasing his friend from the back.

I was rooting for my girl Arya for her brave actions and for doing that in front of us! I could never!

But I just want to stand here on the sidelines to support them.

Alpha Kai clenched his jaw and whispered to her, “You started this, Arya. Do not blame me for what I’ll do to you tonight.”

Arya rolled her eyes at that, surprised at how far his ego could get with teasing him.

She knew she would regret this soon but she does not care, “Then take a bath first. I think you need it.”

“Get a room you two!” Alpha Ace suddenly said in between them and I added, “Damn girl, and yet you were shocked earlier when you could do this!”

Arya’s reaction was priceless. She widened her eyes at me and she just shrugged her shoulders and acted as if nothing happened.

Wow, I admire her bravery.

Alpha Kai’s eyes were calculating as if he wanted to get back at her when he said, “Ace, don’t you want to watch something amazing for now?”

Ace beside me, nodded, “Yes, mate. What is it?”

“I know you’ve been training your mate….and my mate is strong. Want them to have their training now?” He suggested.

Arya glared at Kai and I gasped in shock. What are they meaning to?

Ace thought about it, “Hmm, how about they have their little sparring and then we’ll bet on who’s going to win.”

No sh*t sherl*ck. How the hell has Ace just agreed like that? Oh my goodness!

It’s obvious who would win between us. I am not strong, I am aware of that.

And Arya does not want to hurt me.

That’s it. I do not want any of this. I grabbed Ace’s hand, “Wait that is not fair. I am only a human! And she has experience fighting.” I retorted, “Besides, you’ve only trained me sometimes as the rest was in the bedroom.”

Ace nodded. “That’s the point. I trained you well enough there for you to have strong stamina too.”

I crossed my arms in front of me and shook my head. “No! Ace!”

"My bet is on my mate of course." Said, Alpha Ace.

"I'll bet on Arya." Replied Kai.

Arya shrugged, sighing, "Guess we'll just need to try it then?"

She then turned to Ace angrily, "You brought this to your mate. Don't blame me if I injure her."

"Don't you even dare hurt her!" He said, clenching his hand now but she cocked an eyebrow at him, "Too late to plead."

I gulped, bracing for what’s about to happen. I swear if I ended up not able to walk from this, I’ll kill Ace after this!
