Pup talk
We decided to stay and help build the ruined packhouse back to its place. It was only three of us, and it took us a week to work with it. We also added a better barrier around the territory that would help us be on alert if any rogues are within the area.
The elders of the realm had noticed this movement so they kept on sending one of their men and invited Creed to pay respect to them.
Creed, hating the elders ever since, would only send back the men with bruised eyes. I wanted him to stop this and convince him to just do as they say but he wouldn’t listen. The elders were getting anxious now that the “Ravager” that they had always wanted to catch him. I admit that being the past “Ravager” had its disadvantages as he had no alpha friends. He had no alliances that he could ask for help when he was in need.
But thank goodness for that reputation too that no other pack would dare to cross our territory, fearing for their life.
“They’ll only use me as their weapon in their plays.” That was all Creed said every time and I respect that. He must have known more than me and he is just being careful especially now that we don’t hold that much power in the pack. We still need reinforcements and more subordinates to run the pack alive. For now, we are still looking for anyone.
We would meet some lone wolf traveling by our territory, but they would prefer to be alone and would tremble in fear every time they see him.
“I think we need to quit looking for any wolves and start creating our pups.” He would always say to me, an excuse and distracting me to this but I am still determined to continue.
That’s the first thing we need to work on. Creed’s reputation as the “Ravager”. It seems that most are still scared of him. I can’t blame them for feeling that way since I myself witnessed how cruel and merciless he can be.
But I want to show them that he changed. He changed for the better for me.
Slowly, we are getting there. We could see improvement in the pack. Boris was there to help maintain it, and he was also taking care of the old ones left here.
Creed got busy, and we barely had alone time, except when I had my episodes of sleepwalking ad attacking him out of nowhere.
I thought that this illness had disappeared, that’s the main reason why I was banished from my past pack. Yet every time I had those episodes, I would wake up peacefully with Creed beside me and act like nothing happened.
I admit that I feel so embarrassed but he would only reply with, “It’s not an illness. It is part of you. I accept everything you give me.”
Everyday with Creed has been a blessing, and I couldn’t ask for more. He never raised his arms on me, he never treated me with disrespect, and he’s filled with so much love. I keep on falling for him as the day goes by.
“Nyra.”
He suddenly called me out to his study. He had been busy working on some letters addressing the elders and some pack alliances. I had suggested getting Alpha Kai, the alpha of the Midnight's pack and the new elder of the West region. He was the one who let us out and saved us from the trouble of facing the elders. Good thing that he agreed.
As soon as I went to his study, he looked at me then pointed at his kneed, “Sit.”
I looked around, “Where?” I asked, playing dumb.
“Here.” He pointed again.
“Awe, you need my hugs again?” I teased him and tickled him to the sides as I sat on his lap. His broad stiffened shoulders relaxed under my touch and he kissed me.
“It’s broad daylight. We have to work on this pack, remember?”
His lips formed into a pout, “Yes. But I need you now.”
I shook my head, “Creed, no. Boris is just outside.”
He raised his eyebrows, “And?”
“He can hear us.”
“So? Can’t we make love? We are mates.”
I feel like I am talking to a child, “Ugh. Creed, you’re being a baby.”
He suddenly cleared his throat and his voice turned serious, “Speaking of that, we haven’t talked about it properly. How my pups do you want?”
“Why are you asking me about that now?” I asked back. I still haven’t thought about it now.
He shrugged, resting his chin on my shoulders, “I’ve been thinking about it lately and I just wanted to know.”
I hummed, thinking about it, “Honestly, I am not so sure.” I am not even sure if I could bear any pup at this age. “How about you?”
“I don’t know too. How many do you want? It is your body, and you are the one carrying it. I respect
“This is why I love you.”
“So? Can we make our pups now?” He joked, tickling my sides and raining me with kisses.
I once had given up on life, but ever since he came, it has been an exciting journey for me. I can’t wait to birth to his pups and build a family with him.
After all, I am the Alpha Rogue’s Exiled mate.
Our little moment was interrupted when there was a knock on the door, and when Creed ignored it, Boris spoke up from outside, “Alpha, you have a visitor?”
“You’re alliance pack, Alpha Kai of the Midnights pack.
Creed stopped, looked at me, then returned to kissing.
“Tell him to wait for an hour.” He responded before turning his attention to me.
I pushed him back, “Creed, you’re making an elder of the west region wait!”
“He can manage on his own.” He said as he started undressing me.
I grabbed his hand, “Aren’t you afraid he might withdraw from the alliance? You should meet him now!”
After he worked so hard to send that letter, I don’t want his efforts to go to waste.
“Right now, my priority is you.” He said, and I rolled my eyes. Once he made up his mind, he really can’t think of another thing, no matter how important he is. I know Boris is going to get angry! I am just happy he is there to set Creed straight but sometimes, Creed’s naughtiness can't be stopped! He would turn on his charms and trick me, and I’d always fall for it.
“Okay fine! Later! We’ll do this!”
His eyes sparkled, “Really?”
“Yes! Now go to him!” I yelled, hurrying him.
Smirking, he placed one last kiss on my lips before putting his shirt on.
“See you later in my room, baby. Once I finish this, I hope you have already laid on the bed naked with your legs spread and oil-“
I covered his mouth so he wouldn’t finish, “No, I won’t do that, now go!”
Whining, he was forced to leave his study as he welcomed the guest.
Both of us are new to this, but we have each other so I know we can get past this.
