"Do you think your family suspects something?" asked Adriana, my best friend, while she was still straightening her hair let it go to a club," I replied confidently. I was really grateful to Álvaro and Lucía for that. My parents or brothers would never let me go to a club by myself, which is really annoying because I have to take them with me every time I want to. On the grounds that it was too dangerous to go somewhere alone as the daughter of a mafia boss. Bullshit. And going out to party with my brothers, you can't call it partying. Every man who approaches me would get such an evil look from them that he doesn't even dare to look at me all evening.
"You know, it really annoys me that I'm almost never allowed to go anywhere by myself," I sighed before stepping into my tight dress, which hits my thighs you're fine," she laughed pitifully. “Ángel and Juan were like that until a few years ago. They wanted to protect their little princesa at all costs until they started to realize that I'm going to grow up too and I don't live as dangerously as you do," she added. "What I would give for that my brothers would be like that too. Especially Alejandro, he sometimes treats me like I'm made of china," I huffed and climbed into my high heels. "But now I don't want to think about my controlling mafia family anymore, I want to have fun," I murmured,
"Maybe I'll meet a hot guy," I grinned to myself. Adriana laughed. "Remember what happened to the two guys who banged you," she smirked, which made me roll my eyes. "Like I'll ever forget," I replied, rolling my eyes before I got the image back to my mind how Alejandro put a bullet in the head of Ramiro, our security man at the time. "Wasn't really cool of ale," I hissed before applying the red lipstick. "Well, how would you feel if one of the security guys fucked your sister?" she asked. Did she now approve of Alejandro's behavior?
"Probably not good, but that's not why you kill anyone. "Most of all, I still wonder what Ale did to Atlas back then," I replied. I grabbed the curling iron and plugged it into the outlet. "Probably Atlas suffered because he took his little Princesa's innocence. Me." it's still a miracle how you smuggled it in your house."
"But that's completely wrong. My brothers fuck their way through half of New York. Even our housekeepers. You know, sometimes I can't sleep for days because one of them is always banging a woman. And if I did that too, I'm sure you'd be super upset! But I can't even do that because my brothers won't let a man near me. I'm not a friggin' kid anymore," I bleated hysterically and started curling my hair.
"You think Ale killed Atlas?" she asked, to which I just shrugged. I had absolutely no idea what he did to Atlas back then after he got us.
"But you're right, sweetheart. We should have some fun tonight," she finally agreed, thankfully changing the subject. I love my family and would do anything for them, but sometimes they just upset me.
Now that we were both done, we left Adriana's room and made our way to her parents to let them know that we were driving. Once we walked across the vast property, we finally arrived at the living room where they were seated. "We're going now," said Adri before she kissed them both on the cheek. "Take care of yourselves! I'm serious, I'm the one who risks stress with Diego and it doesn't hurt if you bother and register," he admonished us. "Nature. (Of course) We're just going to have some fun, Álvaro," I assured him. I knew how important his friendship with my dad was to him. They've been best friends since they were 15. I could understand him since my Papá entrusted me to him in a way. It also took quite a long time to get Álvaro and Lucía to let us into a club alone. "En Orden (All right), let Felipe drive you. Call him when you want him to pick you up again. And mi Princesa, don't forget your gun," he said to Adri. I have to admit that I always think it's cool when Adriana and I go out with her gun.
"I'll call you when you can pick us up again," Adri said and slammed the car door. Together we walked towards the club. We didn't even notice the long queue and walked straight towards the entrance. Aiden, the security Mann nodded at us with a smile and let us in. He had an affair with Adriana, which is why we were always allowed in here without waiting.Sometimes I felt sorry for the people who were at the back of the line.
As we entered the club, the all-too-familiar scent greeted me. I couldn't describe it, which is why I always called it 'club scent'. The music pounded in my ears as we walked towards the bar. "Two mojitos, please," I ordered our standard order from the bartender before we sat down on the bar stools. I scanned the club, hoping to spot a handsome guy maybe, but none.
Wait and see, Cayetana. Probably alcohol.
When the bartender put our drinks in front of us, we took them and toasted. "Have fun!" laughed Adriana. "Have fun," I repeated her words, laughing, and took a sip. I swallowed some of the burning liquid and had to get used to the feeling again and grimaced briefly. Dios, I haven't had a drink for a long time.
"Come on Tana, let's go dancing a little," Adri grinned after we'd all had our drinks. She grabbed my hand and pulled me onto the dance floor. The bass was pounding through my ears. We both started moving our hips to the beat We haven't been to a party in a really long time, which is why we're now enjoying it to the fullest.

In the meantime we were sitting at the bar again. "I'm going dancing again, are you coming with me?" she wanted to know. "No, maybe I'll get to that later." She just nodded, got up and headed towards the dance floor.
I propped my elbows on the counter, lost in thought, and cupped my face in my hands.
After a while, when someone sat down next to me again, I thought it was Adriana, which is why I looked to the left. Wrong thought. Instead of Adri, there was literally an Adonis sitting next to me, who smiled charmingly at me. Oh god, I'm almost melting. He is quite broadly built. Outrageously hot. He had slightly wavy black hair, a well-groomed three-day beard adorned his face and he had damn beautiful blue eyes. Not to mention his distinctive facial features and full lips. He wore casual black pants and a white shirt, which he left three buttons open at the top and rolled up his sleeves to the crook of his arm. I could easily see the outlines of tattoos through the white shirt he was wearing.
"Hello," he smiled, with a damn hot voice. Maybe I was lucky after all, I thought with a grin. "Hola," I smiled and turned right to face him. "Latina?" he asked with a grin. "Sí," I nodded and a little later bit my lower lip excitedly.
"What is such an attractive young woman like you doing here all alone?" he asked curiously, taking a quick look at my body. Is he flirting with me right now? "Oh, I'm not alone. I'm here with my best friend , but she just disappeared onto the dance floor," I replied. He nodded in understanding. "May I buy you a drink, sweetie?" Sweetheart? Fuck how hotly he just said that.
I have to be careful not to drool. I couldn't help but smile and to be honest, it just boosted my ego. I mean, he looks like a god and flirts with me, although he can probably have anyone here in this club. "I'd love to," I smiled. A seductive grin crept onto his lips before he glanced at the bartender. "One more thing the lady had and a scotch," he ordered before looking back at me. "Domenico," he smiled charmingly and held out his hand. I took it with a grin. "Cayetana."
