~Amy~
The next morning, I was woken up by a loud banging. It almost sounded like Mason had fallen down the stairs. So I made my way to the door and listened to see if anything had happened.
I couldn't hear anything, so I went back and picked out fresh clothes. The hickey was still not to be overlooked, which is why I decided to wear a sweater again. Even if it could get too warm during the day.
When I was done, I went back to the kitchen to get something to eat. Mason was sitting at the table, another bun in his hand. This time with Nutella. I just left my comment up in the air. But Mason had noticed my gaze and now looked at me questioningly. "I don't like Nutella" I answered him shortly and immediately his eyes widened. "Not true!" he laughed. "Yes. I just don't think chocolate on bread fits. Besides, I'm not that big of a hazelnut fan either." I said and also started to laugh. "Everyone likes Nutella. It's almost like not liking strawberries." he said, rocking his chair to get a better look at me. "Be glad I like her" I said and we both started laughing. However, Mason could not laugh so long like me because he lost his balance and fell backwards with his Nutella bun. I couldn't breathe from laughing and when I looked around the corner to see if he was okay, it was finally over.
His Nutella roll was stuck to his face and the expression he was looking at me was just too funny. Mason looked at me a little disappointed when he started laughing with me too. His laughter sounded so melodious. I could listen to it all day. Realizing we were staring at each other, I quickly broke eye contact and helped him up.
Mason had taken a shower and I had made myself comfortable in his living room. I liked the other side of him because it definitely bothered me that he ignored me at first. Maybe we haven't been something like roommates for long, but we're getting close.
I turned on the TV and flipped through the channels. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything really appealing, which is why I turned it off again, annoyed. At that moment, Mason came tumbling down the stairs from above. "I have to go away for a moment. I'll be back around half past four. You know your way around here," he said and walked out the door.
Briefly away? From.. Uh ten thirty to four thirty it's a whole six hours. Faye had given me an old cell phone from her, which couldn't be that old because it was an IPhone X, but I didn't want to sit on the cell phone all the time. So I passed the time cleaning up. The kitchen needed it badly and it was almost disgusting. Still, I cleaned the bottom floor because I didn't want to go upstairs to Mason. This gave me flashbacks that I'd rather forget.
When cleaning was really getting on my nerves and I just didn't feel like it anymore, I took my cell phone and went outside. There I ran to the edge of the forest that bordered the village and looked for a perfect tree to climb on. I jumped from branch to branch with my phone in my pocket, careful not to drop it, and perched on one enriched by moss. He offered me a little comfort. I pulled out my phone and read my messages. Faye had saved all the numbers, which is why she had already written to me. She wasn't the only one though, Mason reminded him that he was gone until four thirty and Mary wished us dinner tomorrow night. Since I was sitting in front of Mason's house and therefore had WiFi, I downloaded Instagram to check out my old pack for a moment. I lured myself into my old account and created another fake account for stalking. I wanted to make sure no one recognized me.
I had received countless messages and calls from Josie on my old account. If I read her, she could see that I had seen it. Bad idea. So I banished my new smartphone to my pocket and enjoyed the view.
Around half past one I looked at the smartphone in my pocket again. Josie wrote to me again.
(Josie's nickname for Amy is A and for Josie J both pronounced in English)
How are you?
I'm so incredibly sorry
How can I make it up to you?
A answer
Please
I miss you!
Only now do I see that you forgot your cell phone.
Please let me know if you read this.
Make me worried
A?

This can't go on like this
I need you both
Come back

And get the fuck a cell phone

A?
I know you read it
Were just online
Please write at least
I took a deep breath before answering her.
I can't and won't come back. He told me not to, and I don't want to take any chances.
I broke off the chat and devoted myself to a figure that was now coming towards me.
"Amy, what are you doing up there? I thought wolves prefer solid ground under their feet. At least I do." Faye called to me from downstairs. "Wait, I'm coming down" As fast as I was up, I climbed down again. "Actually, I wanted to ask if we want to watch Netflix together?" she said and grinned. I grinned back and we both made our way to Mason's house.
"Let's start a good series together! I've always wanted to do that. So watch the series with who, so any series. Well.. never mind," she stumbled into her own words from being so excited . I started giggling like crazy. It was just too funny too. "So?" she asked again. Giggling, I nodded and she played the series. The two of us lay snuggled up against each other in flimsy blankets, eating chips and jelly beans. Faye had insisted. But that was fine with me, we had to use our wolf body somehow. We were both blown away after the first few minutes. You could also say that we were totally rooted for it.
