Atasha's Point of View

"There she is. I thought you would like to catch more sleep." As he poured some coffee into my cup, Elijah stated. Yes, but that night was so tiring. My legs were still aching from what we did in bed. "But you did enjoy it, right?" I took a deep breath and palmed my face.

"You’re the one that's having the most fun." I hissed back at him and I can’t help but blush since it was early in the morning but I’m imagining the wild things last night. Ever since my wolf was awakened, I have felt so warm inside whenever he touches me. Is this normal?

"By the way, let’s get prepared and we will meet Veronica. I want to discuss with her what happened to us at the forest where we met Devon and Diva. "

He then went on and changed clothes, and I didn’t waste any time packing my things since it was about time for us to go back to the mansion. I’m hoping to see Astrid right away so I can tell her what I really felt.

There was a time when I was scared to face Astrid because I didn’t know what to tell her if we finally met. What would her reaction be?

We rushed to the mansion and asked the guards for Veronica’s location. This time around, all the guards were shocked to see both of us. Someone then tried to provide information to the Alpha Gregory about our arrival. We were able to go inside without any problems.

"I’m just teasing you, Elijah."

He shook his head and massaged the temple of his nose. He seemed a bit irritated to me, and I found it cute when I got him with my petty jokes.

"Veronica? You haven’t changed! You’re so beautiful. " I couldn’t be wrong. It was Veronica that stepped outside of the library right before we tried to go inside. Veronica shows up in the middle of my conversation with Elijah.

"Did you remember me? Veronica? "

"No. Do I know you?"

"I don’t remember any Atasha. All I know is Natasha. Is that the name? Atanaysha. "

She smiled, and we both chortled. I felt so relieved at that instant when I saw her smile. I knew that she was only making fun of me. Veronica then went to Elijah and embraced her which made me so happy at last they got reunited.

"I missed you, my sister, and I apologize for running away."

"Come on, it’s fine. What’s important is that you now have Atasha. By the way, why are you guys both here? I thought that you’d never go back to this place. "

I then glanced at Elijah before I uttered any words in response back to Veronica. It would be a long story to share, and I don’t want to be here in the hallway talking about our experience with the witch.
