Atasha's Point of View

"Atasha, do you intend to take her life in any way? As I saw Elijah leave the library, he spotted me hitting Astrid and confronted me about it. I turned away from him because I didn't want to meet his gaze and I was nervous.

"I thought that we didn’t need to resort to violence. What just happened? " He continued, then he went to try to help Astrid stand up, but his hand got slapped by Zach who suddenly shows up.

"Don’t touch her, Elijah; keep those filthy hands of yours away from my wife." After he assisted Astrid in standing up, I walked to her stick and handed it to Zachary. After that, he helped Astrid to stand up.

I saw from his eyes that his aura was now different. His gaze was different than when I met him. Things are not the same as they used to be, our friendship has been destroyed, and by all indications, he does not want me to come back here.

Once she was back on her feet, Zach questioned if Astrid was aware of what had happened.  "Tell me, Trisha, did they hurt you?  Because if they do, I'll kick them out of this place. "

In a threatening tone of voice, he asked her. She then claimed that she had only stumbled because she was unable to keep her balance, which surprised me that she didn't tell him the truth.  What are her intentions? she can easily tell Zach that I did slap her in the face.

"It was great to see you again." Atasha and the same goes for you, Elijah! I'm going to get going now, and I need a break. I have to get ready for the event. Even though I'm not the Luna of this pack yet, please get prepared to move. Because once Zach and I are in charge, you won't be welcome here anymore."

"Astrid! Don’t do this! Montreal's bloodline would be cursed! Listen to me, we could work this out."

Zach then suddenly shouted at me as I was interrupted by it. "Call her Luna Trisha; she’s not Astrid." Don’t call her that. Better watch your mouth. Don’t ever disrespect my wife. "

I bit my lower lip and I was holding on to my shoulders by Elijah.

"Okay, from now on I’ll also call you Alpha Zach. Is that right? " I said in my sarcastic tone and shook my head in disbelief. Astrid truly was controlling Zach. He talked to me like we didn’t have any memories together.

"Don't be mad at her my darling Zach, she was hopeless, as you can see she's the one that I told you before. She's the main reason why I was in Silver Moon Pack and live a miserable life. Instead of living with my sister Margaux. I get stuck living in a poor place with them."

Zach became furious and he tried to confront me but he was stopped by Elijah.

"Don't come near to my mate, because once you do. You'll be broken into pieces." Elijah's words to Zach.

"I thought you were a nice person all along Atasha. Now I know the truth. Please let Trisha be happy and allow her to get what she deserves. Stop being selfish!"

"Zach, she's not saying the truth! Trust me! She's my sister. The one that I'm wanting to find ever since I got here."

"I'm tired of hearing your lies Atasha. You tried to manipulate everyone if you're able to manipulate Elijah and Veronica but not me."

It saddened to hear from Zach. He no longer believes in what I said. Speaking of Veronica. Where is she? I should tell her that Trisha Deveraugh is my sister Astrid.

"Anyway, you heard my wife, and if I were you two. I'll go back to East Land or to whatever place you can stay. Just stay out in this territory because once I'm the Alpha. You'll be out here. "

Elijah then interrupted him and he went straight close to Zach. I was holding on to his arms and making sure that he wouldn't fight again. Then Elijah glanced at me and smiled. "Mettle, it's fine. I'll not gonna do anything violent. We wouldn't resort to violence right?" He smirked.

"Zach, while you're not the Alpha. Don't act like one. Because in real life you're not. The reason why you get on that position is you married a Deveraugh which also seems questionable. You know what we'll gonna do?"

"What? you're starting a war? you'll kill me? You know that you can't do that. Alpha Gregory would despise you even more. On the other hand, he will punish you for running away and telling lies. You drag Veronica into all of this mess, you know what happens to her while you're having a good time with Atasha? she's here suffering. She got punished every day in the dungeon.   So if you think you can get what you want, you're wrong Elijah."

"Wait for it Zach, you think that you're now safe. Say your prayers every night. Let's go Atasha."

I was then held to my hand by Elijah and I saw in Zach's eyes that he was a bit sorrowful. I wonder if he truly loves Astrid. There's something that he wasn't saying about. What if he was only playing a role to be Astrid's wife so that he can take revenge on Elijah to prove only that he can't get whatever he wants ever that's the words that I heard from Zach.

Especially when I heard about her mother, blaming Elijah for his mother's death that was so saddening to hear.  There was some heaviness on those words that pulled out my heart and beat it to pieces. Because I know how it felt to lose someone, I lose my parents, and now the person that I was truly admired my sister.

"Elijah, do you have any plans in mind? you said some big words a while ago to Zach to say his prayers every night."

"Yes, I do. We'll figure out eventually." He said that made my jaw drop.  What the hell was that Elijah Montreal?
