Atasha's Point of View

"Elijah, shall we go and stop them right now?" I whispered while peeking out the window, as we’re back now in their mansion. Seeing as the ceremony was about to begin. Marco then glances far away from us and makes sure that we’re safe. He was also scared to do it, but because he thinks that I’m pregnant, he was willing to sacrifice his job as a sentinel to ensure that we would be able to make it here inside of the mansion. "Elijah, let’s go, we have no time!" I then whispered again to him.

Before we went here, we were having a hard time healing his wounds because he hates it so much that someone tries to heal his wounds. Now that we’re inside of the mansion, I bet that he wants to take revenge on Beta Drogo and his men. I could see it in his eyes.  Elijah was truly infuriated by what they did to him.

"El, I know how mad you are but please don't kill Beta Drogo or anyone inside. I don't want to cause any trouble and Alpha might no longer give us a chance."

"Of course, Mettle. Why does it give you an idea that I'll kill Beta Drogo, is it because earlier?"

"Yes, I thought that you wanted to seek revenge after what he did. Also, he commanded his own warriors just to beat you up. I couldn't fathom that as well but for now, we need to be humble and control our emotions."

He then put his palm on the top of my head and messed up my hair. "Thanks for reminding me. But I will not hesitate once they lay their finger on you.  Especially that stupid mutt that betrayed my father."

Elijah's jaw just clenched and his fangs were already showing. I calmed him down as we can't afford for us to get caught right away here.

"Atasha, we should wait for Trisha’s turn to be handed the crown as the luna of the pack. We should go inside and yell that she’s your sister, Astrid Greene. "

"Okay, then I’ll show you the key and this note, right? What’s inside these notes, by the way? " I asked curiously.

I remember that earlier, when we went back to the basement, we grabbed a note from the chamber of the tomb, saying that it was from Melanie and was strong evidence that she had contacted a witch. Once we reveal the secrets of the Deveraugh, perhaps Melanie didn’t really commit suicide but was killed by the witch

"Listen, Atasha. Once we’re able to show the Deveraugh clan’s true colors of hiding the truth about Melanie, then Alpha Gregory would question Trisha as Drogo’s long-lost daughter. "

"Then we're hoping that Trisha will also say the truth and admit that she's not a real Deveraugh."

"Absolutely, Atasha. This would help us raise our chances of stopping the ceremony. Thanks to Peter and his sacrifices, we should not let him down. Let's push it through no matter what happens. "

I simply nodded, and we continued to watch the ceremony. There were some traditional dances that were performed in front of the Alpha, and beside him was Beta Drogo, smiling from ear to ear. But it seems that he sensed us when he was trying to look around the windows. We quickly hid, and I was a bit nervous if he saw us.

"Did he see us, Elijah? I wonder if he senses that we're here. "

"Don't worry, Veronica gave the fake key to Beta Drogo's trusted assistant. He thought that she did that on purpose just to get the key on us. My sister truly can deceive anyone at this point.  Imagine earlier that she punches him in his face. "

Then Elijah added that Veronica also said that she beat me up out of this territory and the same goes for Elijah. I was badly injured too, so now Beta Drogo thinks that Elijah can no longer give a fight and waste our time going here.

"He's a stupid mutt, so I guess he was thinking that we had already left and he had won. "

"Is that so, Elijah? because he's a bit attentive. He's trying to check each corner of the room. Look at him. He's like a person that doesn't want to let his guard down. "

"You're right, but as long as Veronica is there, we're safe. Since she made it possible. Her acting was solid as usual, and she was able to let them know that it was all part of the acting so that you could point to the basement but Veronica also gave his warriors wrong information. " Elijah then laughed and shook his head.

Based on Elijah's words, Veronica successfully convinced Beta Drogo that punching him in the face was part of the act. I was happy to see Veronica also there at the venue and waiting for us to take action.  She's also observant and trying to check if we're already in the venue. Good thing that we're wearing magical cloaks that could conceal somehow our presence.

Our plan was working for the meantime, not until I noticed strange things happening. There's something going on with Alpha Gregory. He was a bit sick and he was coughing. He was then consulted by Beta Drogo.

The Alpha then whispered something to Beta, and it turns out that Alpha Gregory is now leaving the ceremony, and he's giving Beta Drogo the right to continue the ceremony without him.

"What should we do now, Elijah?" Alpha Gregory felt sick and he's now leaving the ceremony. "

I then managed to break the glass of the window and jumped over it. All eyes were on me as I approached the middle of the ceremony as Beta Drogo was handling the crown for Zach and Trisha.

"Stop you, traitor! I have evidence that Melanie Deveraugh, your daughter, is a cursed werewolf and she's not committed any suicide, but she was killed by the witch because of some unwanted circumstances. I have it in my hands! "
