Family Reunited
Ethan
This time the orgasm was even faster and more intense, and when our breathing returned to normal, I pulled her over to take a shower together, because the smell of sex was everywhere in the room, and of course, in our bodies.
When we were already in the bathroom, while I put the liquid soap in the palm of my hand, Mariana just stared at me intently, a smile playing on her lips, as I believe there was one on my own face as well.
I considered it a good moment to talk about the invitation I had been wanting to make. After all, we both had silly smiles on our faces in that small shower, which fit us perfectly.
"What do you think about getting away from São Paulo and all this craziness for a few days?" I suggested, lathering her with the foam in my hands.
"I don't know..." Mariana seemed genuinely undecided. "What exactly are you suggesting?"
"A trip for a few days to Campo Limpo Paulista, where my parents live," I explained. "I want you to meet them."
Mariana
Apesar da minha resistência inicial em viajar para a chácara onde moravam os pais de Ethan, ele conseguiu me convencer de que eles eram pessoas agradáveis e que iriam me receber bem em sua casa. He also managed to convince my aunt to come along, and the next day we traveled to Campo Limpo.
But before making any decisions, we had a long and clarifying conversation. Ethan told me the true story behind Beatriz's actions, something he had learned from Joshua, and I was glad that he finally opened up about it. He also told me about reaching out to Murilo to reconcile, even before knowing who Beatriz really was, which relieved me and made me even happier because peace had finally been established among everyone.
With everything clarified, I felt more at ease when I arrived in Campo Limpo, and I found that Ethan wasn't lying about his parents. I genuinely liked the couple; they were extremely kind and great hosts. I was happy that I had accepted Ethan's invitation.
I also enjoyed spending time with Lucas, Ethan's brother, and I noticed how much he was loved by his family. It was beautiful to see the two brothers together, a side of Ethan that I had yet to witness.
Even Virgínia and Murilo, as well as Joshua and Artémis, visited Constantino's farmhouse on the weekend, and we had a lively barbecue. Despite the media still talking a lot about the auction story, our lives continued as if nothing was happening.
Murilo's and Ethan's legal teams managed to remove some false and defamatory articles from the media, and although they couldn't completely erase the scandal, it had diminished significantly.
The important thing was that Ethan and Murilo had understood each other, and Ethan was committed to helping Murilo in every way, especially regarding the accusations made by the former employee of FERZ, in which he had an important role and was willing to face the consequences of his actions.
Virginia was looking more beautiful every day while pregnant. The couple had even set a wedding date, and during our gathering at the farmhouse, Murilo took the opportunity to invite Joshua and Ethan to be his groomsmen.
"I just hope Murilo doesn't faint from excitement before Virginia reaches the altar," Joshua joked. "Because he already seems extremely nervous."
"I would never let anything ruin my wedding, dear cousin," Murilo defended himself. "Especially not a silly fainting spell."
We were all chatting on the spacious veranda of Ethan's parent's country house, except for my aunt, who had already retired to the guest room where she was staying. The outside weather was quite cold, and she also liked to go to bed early.
"I would say everyone seems quite eager about the idea of marriage," Marcus Constantino wisely pointed out. "And soon we'll have a few more weddings being planned."
"And I say you're absolutely right, Uncle Marcus," Joshua didn't waste time seizing the opportunity. "I'm just waiting for Artemis to accept my marriage proposal, isn't that right, darling?"
Artemis seemed very embarrassed, and Joshua embraced her as she buried her face in the crook of his neck, probably to hide the blush on her cheeks.
"For years, I've been dreaming of grandchildren, but Ethan doesn't seem to be in a hurry to fulfill this small wish of his dear mother," Angela insinuated, or rather, openly spoke.
At that instant, I felt a neon sign flashing a warning in my head with those words because I had no intention of having children now, at this point in my life. I quickly responded to the question before Ethan could even comment on the matter.
"I believe you'll have to wait a bit longer," I said in a playful tone. "I don't plan on having children now."
Despite my hasty response, Angela didn't seem upset or sad. She quickly spoke, addressing Virginia.
"Well, I hope you can come to our house more often then, Virginia," she invited with a smile. "It seems to me that's the only way I'll have children running around this house."
"No drama, Mom," Ethan scolded, jokingly. "Grandchildren will come at the right time, right, Mariana?"
That subject bothered me, but I didn't engage in a discussion at that moment. After all, even though the topic was controversial, the atmosphere was pleasant, and everyone seemed happy and excited. I didn't want to bring unnecessary tension into the house.
I waited until we were alone in Ethan's suite, already getting ready for bed, to bring up the subject again.
"What's this talk about having children, Ethan?" I asked, hands on my hips, ready for an attack. "Let me make it clear that I have no plans for a family now, or anytime soon."
Ethan approached me with the same smile he had before I brought up the topic and hugged me, kissing my neck, exactly where he knows I melt completely. I couldn't help but close my eyes and feel the excitement take over me immediately.
"Of course, you're right " he agreed without even questioning " We'll do it your way and I'm very happy to accept your wishes and desires, is that okay?
"Yes," I agreed, even though I hadn't been paying attention to his words.
