He quickly approached Yun Zirou and took her hand in his. "Let's go; we'll leave this city and live elsewhere. We have no chance of surviving here!"

"How did you become like this?" Yun Zirou asked, shaking his hand off. "What have you been up to these days?"

"I went into hiding," he said, his face showing a terrified look.

"What can I do if I don't run away? Wouldn't it be suicide if I stayed somewhere the Yuan family could find me?"

"Please explain what happened first. I'm not leaving the city, as I was raised here. Aside from that, I need to avenge our parents!"

Her brother sighed and sat quietly on a sofa.
