Chapter 12

He looked up this time and his gaze locked into hers. None of them spoke as they just stared at each other. Suddenly, Alex reached out and drew her unto his laps so she was striding him.

She squealed in surprise but didn't resist as she felt him hardened against her ass. Involuntarily, she moaned softly at the sensation she felt when his dick twitched. What was this feeling? She asked herself. She had never felt this way towards a guy before. Not that she had encountered lots of males in all her years on earth.

Looking at him, she could raw hunger and lust in his eyes. Slowly, he tipped her head down and captured her mouth in a mind soaring kiss. Her breath was caught up in her throat in shock and she didn't respond to the kiss immediately. He teased her lips, begging her to give him access into her mouth. He plunged in the minute she opened her mouth slightly to suck in air. Ava had no experience in the kissing aspect but she was surprised at how they moved in unison as they exchanged sweet wetness of their tongues.

She broke the kiss and gasped for air " Uhhh... " She was not given enough time to breathe as Alex captured her mouth back. It seemed like he couldn't bear to be away from her lips for long. He placed his large hands on her tiny waist and held her steady when she lost her balance. So this is how it felt to be kissed, she mused in exhilaration. She had always thought kissing was disgusting until now.

He broke the kiss this time and she opened her eyes slowly. She was in a daze and her mind wasn't done processing what just happened. Was it magic? She didn't know. Because unexpectedly, she had enjoyed the kiss, it made her feel real good. The guy was a really good kisser, she thought laughingly. Of course, it was her first kiss but she didn't mind it being taken away from her by him. Guess what? He would be real good in bed too, her mental voice said coyly. Ava's cheeks became rosy with embarrassment as she digested the words. Good in bed? She shook her head vigorously, she sure as hell didn't want to know that. If he was good in bed or not, it was none of her business. Oh sorry, but it became your business the minute he kissed you and you responded, the voice sneered. Ava rolled her eyes mentally, what did he know about being good in bed anyway? After all, he was sick. He's a full red blooded male, Ava and possessed all the qualities of a man, the voice threw back. Ava sighed and pushed the voice out.

It was true, Alex was every bit of a man even if he couldn't speak, and that was not even permanent, she reasoned. The dazed look on her face disappeared completely and she focused on the man staring deeply into her eyes. Her eyes widened and she jumped off his thighs, covering her warm cheeks with her palms. Her face was flushed and it became worse as Alex's expressionless gaze bored into hers until she turned away from him. She quickly went over to the full length mirror and stared at her reflection.

" Ohhh... " She muttered as she took in her profile. Wide eyed, flushed face, rosy cheeked, thoroughly kissed mouth and messed up hair, that was the perfect description of herself. One look at her and one could guessed what she had been up to. She sighed, what would Maggie think is she saw her this way? She shouldn't even go out now. Deciding to do just that, she set on tidying up her appearance with the little she could do.

From the mirror, she saw Alex came up behind her and buried his face on the crook of her neck and she arched her back into him. Her eyes went closed as he kissed her neck. He was invading her personal space but the guy was too damn arrogant to admit that and back off. The guy sure knew how to seduce a woman, she thought as he leaned close and tucked her hair properly behind her ear, all the while inhaling her scent. He placed light kisses on her exposed neck.

Ava moaned softly as he sucked on her soft spot, making her moaned out loud.

" Hmmn... " She breathed out.

So much for wanting to tidy up her appearance, she wouldn't be able to do a thing if he kept being that way.

She had to put a stop to it, she thought. Taking a deep breath and shutting out the pleasures he was giving her, she turned to him and pushed him away gently.

" Alex, let's stop this, hmn? " She said softly.

But he didn't move a step away, he stood rooted to the ground but thankfully, kept his hands to himself. She sighed and decided to go through with what she wanted to do and ignored his presence. She pulled the ribbon which held her bun up and brushed her hands through her hair. He stopped her by placing surprisingly soft hands on hers.

Ava frowned, wondering what he was up to now. He weaved his hands through her hair in soft, soothing motions and she felt her heart melted by his action. Her whole body relaxed under the caress and her eyes started drooping. Her eyes snapped opened when he tapped her on the shoulders gently. She handed him the ribbon when he gestured for her to give him. He did everything the right way and it was so perfect that Ava wondered if he had done it for another woman. She felt a sting of jealousy at the thought but shook her head furiously, to clear away the thoughts.

He raised one eyebrow quizzically, wondering why she shook her head without reason. He probably thought she was crazy. Maybe she really was. She shook her head again and Alex actually smacked her on the head lightly.

" Owww! That hurts! " She yelled and looked up with a glare.

He met her gaze and threw the glare right back with one of his own. They stared at each other for a full minute until she finally broke the eye contact.

" Sorry " She said in a small voice, knowing she was at fault for making the hair he had packed so neatly fall apart.
