Chapter 45
He made some sounds which excited her and she wanted to clench her thighs together but he spread them even wider.
" Open up for me, baby " He whispered and all her resistance dissolved
" God, you're so wet " That came from him and he gladly took in her juices. He took a deep breath and went back to kissing her. A while later, he broke the kiss and stared deeply into her eyes.

Ava opened her eyes slowly and she looked disoriented for a moment.
" Babe? " He called softly and blew his breath on her face. Ava slowly came into reality when his fresh breath fanned her face.
She became aware of her environment and stared at him wordlessly for a while. Then his last word registered in her head and she felt butterflies in her stomach at the word ‘ Babe ’
" Hey " He called again and she blinked " Huh? "
" I asked if I could go ahead and do this " Ava nodded, still in a daze
" Yeah " She whispered back.
Before she knew it, he slipped a finger inside her and sucked in a sharp breath. That was when the meaning of his words dawned on her.
She squeezed her eyes shut and clutched his arms in her small fists.
" Oh baby, you're so tight " He whispered and kissed her forehead while he gave her body time to adjust to his finger inside her.
" Relax baby. Breath in " He instructed gently and she did so without a word " Now breathe out "
She complied and slowly, he pushed his finger in and out of her and her whimper turned into moan and soon enough, her cries filled the room. Even though she was sure no one would hear her, she still hoped the rest of the house members were fast asleep. He slid another finger inside her and she gasped as the pleasure heightened.
In the midst of passion, he asked " Only who can make you feel this way? "

He watched as her chest rose and fell and suddenly wanted to do more but he held back, thinking she had had enough for the night. She looked tired and needed to sleep. He disengaged himself from her slowly and picked up her clothes which were scattered on the floor.
" Hey, you need to get some sleep, you look tired " He said softly.
She opened her eyes and it looked like she was in a daze and Alex waited patiently. After some minutes, her eyes cleared and she stared up at him with love clearly written in her eyes. Love? No way. He must have gotten it all wrong, he told himself and shook off the thought. She tried to stand but hit her rear end on the couch when fatigue washed over her.
" Hey, are you okay? " He asked and rushed to her.
She nodded " Yeah I'm okay, you can let go of me now " She said quietly but his hands were still on her arms in a bid to steady her. She took a step forward again but failed so Alex carried her in his arms, earning a protest from her.
" Alex, what are you doing? Let me down! " She protested but her voice came out weak. Alex paid no heed to her as he effortlessly carried her upstairs to her room. On seeing that Alex had no intention of doing such a thing, she finally relaxed and let herself enjoy the feeling of being treated like a queen. He opened the door to her room and strolled inside. He went straight to the bed and laid her down gently.
Ava sighed contentedly and muttered a " Thank you " in his direction.
He nodded and placed a light kiss on her forehead before he straightened up " Have a good night rest " He said and walked away.
Ava watched him leave with sleepy eyes and turned to her side of the bed. She didn't get the chance to replay what happened in her head because sleep consumed her and she slept, feeling satisfied and fulfilled.

" Come in " Alex said absentmindedly in reply to the knock on the door. A few moments later, it opened and Emily walked in. Alex acknowledged her presence with a nod while Emily greeted him properly.
" A good afternoon to you sir " She said politely and handed him some files.
" You have a business lunch with Mr Woods in an hour's time. Should I go prepare? " She asked.
Alex nodded again, his eyes still fixed on his computer. He didn't even look through the documents his secretary brought, at least not yet.
" Alright sir " She said and proceeded to leave.
Alex buried himself in work and didn't rest until the last minute that he was supposed to leave for the meeting. His stomach churned and he hadn't had lunch yet. He stood up and shrugged on his jacket preparing to leave when his phone rang.
It was an unknown number but he picked anyways " Hi dearest " came the pretentiously soft feminine voice at the other end.
