" I know, but we should do something. Like come out say it's all lies " She insisted and added " For your girlfriend's sake at least "
Alex thought about it for some minutes and agreed " Alright, I'll address the issue " He decided.
" No Alex, I will " She immediately disagreed with his decision.
" Dawn... " He started to say but Dawn cut in, knowing he wanted to convince her.
" Alex, please. I'll do it " She begged.
Alex sighed and finally agreed.
Back in the mansion, when Ava read the news, her brain stopped working for a minute. Maggie kept to her word and didn't leave her alone for a minute. Ava tried to make her leave but the old lady refused.
" Maggie please, I need to be alone " Her voice was weak as she pleaded with Maggie, but the latter refused, saying she was obeying an order.
" I can't child, I promised Alex I'd stay with you " She replied.
" Why aren't you picking his calls though? He's worried! " Maggie said, trying to convince Ava.

" You looked displeased some seconds ago " Maggie stated thoughtfully.
" I'm okay Maggie, just tired, that's all " She reassured Maggie.
The old lady frowned slightly. It was surely a displeased expression she had seen on Ava moments ago.
