28. SHOW ME HOW EFFICIENT YOU ARE THEN
CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT
28. SHOW ME HOW EFFICIENT YOU ARE THEN
“Like what?” I asked.
“Like those that will send me straight to hell if I act on it.” He answered my question and gave me a once over.
“Then don’t,” I said. He needs to be stopped. I couldn’t keep my resolve for long if he kept talking like that.
I flipped my hair.
“Okay.” He says and tucks a strand of blonde hair behind my ear.
The worker brings the food and my mouth waters from the smell, but I don’t trust food from this side of town. Who knows what water or ingredient was used in cooking it? I refused to touch it with an inch pole. I don’t care if Kieran’s money would go to waste. It’s not my fault his arrogant and disrespectful ass ordered for me without asking if I wanted some or not. He had just gone straight ahead to get me a burger.
I grab the bottle of water and take a sip, but my stomach grumbles when I see the burger. I haven’t eaten properly the whole day.
During lunch, I was only able to pick at my food because I was worried about Andrew.
Kieran grabs a burger and takes the tomatoes out before putting it on a paper plate and giving it to me.
“Eat.” He demands and I get the urge to refuse just for the sake of annoying him, but I don’t.
He was so bossy.
“I’m not eating that… I don’t know what ingredients were used in making it. ” I scrunched my nose.
“It’s one of my favorite places in the area. Everything else is shit, but the burger is good.”
“Why would I trust your judgement? You hang out with hoodlums. You don’t have any good refinement or class just like them..”
His hands slam down on the table and I jump.
“Why are you such a nasty person?” He says whilst scrutinizing me.
“Do you really have to be bitter all the time?” He asks like he genuinely wants to know
Great, now I’m actually feeling bad.
“You’re judging them because they are less privileged than you? What does wealth have to do with a person’s heart? ”
“I shouldn’t have. I don’t know why I do. I just...”I began knowing I was in the wrong to act that way.
“Save it.” He shuts me up.
“I’ll go wait in the car.” I say and get up to leave, but at the same moment, someone in a hoodie comes in and heads straight for the computer.
I give Kieran a look that says I’m going to confront the hoodie guy, but before I walk away, he yanks me back and I fall into his lap.
I scrambled to get up and my hand accidently pressed on his crotch and he groaned.
I feel something harden beneath my palm for a second, and I turn the shade of a tomato, hurrying to get up and out of his lap, but I only end up hitting my head against his jaw instead. The space between the desktop and chairs was small.
“Just stay.” He says in annoyance as he grabs my hips to keep me still. I’m about to protest but the stares from the workers and hoodie guy keep me in place. The more I moved around, the more hoodie guy is likely to get suspicious.
Kieran starts making sketches on the computer so we don’t look suspicious just staring. I play along by forcing an apologetic smile on our audience.
I grabbed the burger to take a bite. It was my little way of apologizing to him. I honestly felt bad. I didn’t really think about their feelings if they were to over hear me. It wasn’t their fault they weren’t privileged like me. I was just a stuck-up bitch and it’s hard to completely switch to a nicer version of myself even if I hated being a stuck-up bitch so much. I wasn’t always this vile. I shut that memory down, refusing to relieve my younger middle school self. The burger was actually good. The meat was well done and they were generous with the cheese and juicy parts too. I liked it.
I feel Kieran get harder and harder beneath me every passing minute and I shift, trying to stop sitting on his dick. My palms were sweaty but moving too much would draw attention and two rich kids in a café at this hour was quite suspicious by itself.
“Fuck, Stop moving already.” He growls. His hands grip my thighs and keep them in place. The feeling of his hands on my naked thighs felt like my skin was burning with some weird kind of electricity.
I freeze.
God, what was he doing to me? What were we even doing? How did I end up here?
“Fuck not there.” He groans and lifts me before placing me back down a bit to the left thigh so I’m no longer fully in the middle, I’m on half of one of his thighs instead.
My eyes caught a glimpse of the bulge in his trousers. I swallow and look forward. He was definitely big.
I continued eating the burger as he did his things on the desktop. He had taken out the tomatoes form the burger. How did he know I hated tomatoes? Has he been watching me at dinner? I kept telling mom I didn’t want tomatoes but she would never remember, so I just stopped telling her. I’d just end up taking them out myself as I ate. How did Kieran notice that?
Hoodie guy keeps playing games. He’s not doing anything serious, but Kieran says to wait. It could be a trick.
I sigh and look at Kieran’s work. It’s a design of a device but I can’t really see what it is.
“Are you curious?” He asks and his hot breath teases my ears.
“What is it?” I asked, refusing to turn and look at him. If I do, we might both end up going to that hell he mentioned.
“It’s a device I’m working on. This is the prototype I’m currently designing.”
“Oh wow, I didn’t know you did that. It’s really cool. What type of device is it?” I asked curiously and smiled.
“Well, it’s a drone I’m designing. It is just better and more advanced and upgraded than the usual ones. I intend to make it fly faster and go higher. It’s still quite new so I can’t really say much about it.” He shrugged.
“This is quite impressive,” I said.
“You know, if you used this in the first place instead of a vibrator and cheap jewelry, you’d have had a better chance of getting laid.” I joked.
His dick brushes my thigh as he twitched and I open my eyes wide. I was just joking.
“Don’t think about it too much.” He says like he’s annoyed that he can’t seem to control himself. It kind of made me feel powerful to be honest.
I felt like I had control over him and feeling like that about someone as powerful as Kieran was just euphoric. I wanted to do it more. I wanted to tease and flirt with him to see how good his self-control was, but I know better, so I don’t.
I really wasn’t in a mood to find out. I probably wouldn’t be able to handle it.
“So what other things have you designed?” I asked him enthusiastically.
“Let me show you instead.” He says.
“Okay.” I agree.
I didn’t know his hobbies. That he liked to design stuff or that he was good at coding too… I only knew his parents were tech geniuses and built businesses in that industry. I never knew he took after them. I bet that was how he found out that I’d been hacked and he was using his skills to get more information before the worker had interfered.
I looked over at the hoodie guy who was still playing video games. I would have given up and thought he wasn’t the one or gone to confront him, but Kieran says it’s the same account and that he’s definitely the one. But the timing was not right. We had to wait for an opportunity to catch him red-handed.
Anyway, It’s like I’m finally getting something that is the real him, not the bullshit façade he wore like an extra limb. Yeah he wasn't fooling me with that.
It’s not as if I’m interested in him or anything. It might be of use in the future when I want to ruin him. That is a hundred and one percent why I really wanted to know.
He takes out a pen drive and inserts it into the desktop.
“You carry a pen drive with you everywhere? Geek much ?” I teased.
“Yes, it’s quite important. I get ideas all the time and like to begin work immediately. I don’t want to lose important ideas due to something silly like forgetting.” He says with all seriousness.
“You’re funny. Forgetfulness is fine. It only proves you’re human,” I said with a laugh.
“It only proves you’re not efficient, baby girl.” He says and I bite my lip.
“Show me how efficient you are then,” I said, and pointed to the desktop.
