I KNOW EVERYTHING
CHAPTER SIXTY NINE
I KNOW EVERYTHING
I let Kieran lead me into an empty classroom and he tried to close the door in Ryan’s face. But thankfully, Ryan is not a push over so he slams a hand into the door and pushes it open, much to Kieran’s disapproval. They were really made for each other.
I check to make sure no one was there before asking.
“What is Katie Jer doing here in Royal Crest Academy?” I asked.
“Uhhh.. shouldn’t you be asking her instead ?” Ryan asks.
“So you do have a hand in her coming here.” I accuse Ryan, squaring up to him as he raises his hands in surrender.”
“I never admitted that, tigress.”
“No nicknames. It’s Aaliyah Waters.” Kieran warns.
“How do you know who she is?”
“It’s no secret that you and her have some sort of beef. All your enemies are publicly partnering and joining forces with her. News travels fast here.”
“She has a late transfer and apparently was recommended by the principal, Crest.”
“It kind of has the Crest and Castles names written all over this.”
“Well, Moncar had to pay her well because her gang bro died.” He shares a look with Kieran which says he knows how that death became.
“I’m sure that’s how come she could afford the fees but trust me. She has no connections here, especially in the Crest family or to my dad.”
“If it’s only money why does she have the guts to go against me.”
“Aww, is poor Waters intimidated?” Ryan teases.
“Shut up!” I said.
“Kieran, is what he is saying true?”
“It is.” Kieran agrees and I’m beginning to doubt his validity of this claim when I remember that Kat wanted us to be divided and doubting each other.
“Well, I don’t care.”
“Get her transferred for something. I don’t care what. She can’t remain here. I literally have to hold myself back every day.” I stomp my foot as I say to Kieran.
“Watch the tone.” He warns.
“So, you’re saying you can’t handle one backless bone of a girl? And to think I thought you were all that.” Ryan says.
“Crest.” Kieran warns.
“Fine fine. I’m leaving.” Ryan says before backing out. Now I’m left alone in a room with Kieran.
“Take care of it in two days. I’m respecting your space and not intervening because I know you and her have middle school history and you’d prefer to end this yourself. But it’s keeping you away from me and I hate that. Get her out of here in two days or I’d do it myself.” Kieran says and Caresses my face before going out and leaving me alone.
I was going to go crazy at this point. I kick the desks apart and throw the window open, screaming into the night air.
“Shut the fuck up!” Someone screams from a floor below.
“Fuck you” I retort, slamming the window shut. One can’t even vent in peace around here.
I walk out the classroom door and head to class.
I take out my phone and text Chloe.
Me: Hey, are you in class..?”
Chloe: Yes, where are you !?
Me: I’m on my way. Is Miss Lana in?
Chloe: Yes, she just came in and she’s marking the register. It seems she’s not over last class. She’s got it out for you.
Me: Shit. I’ll be there soon.
I hit the send button just before I crash into someone and my phone drops.
“Watch where you’re going!” I bend down, picking up my phone and checking for a broken screen. I’m about to descend the stair but the person doesn’t move. I look up from my phone to see Kat in front of me.
“Of course it’s you.” I scowl.
“Move. I’m late for class and not in the mood for your nonsense.” I shove her out of the way and began descending but she cuts off my path again, holding a hand in front of me
“Okay, so I guess we are doing this. What do you want now?”
“I just wanted you to be careful.”
“Cut the bullshit. I’m running late for class. What is it you want?”
“Did you go to see Kieran?” She asks and I cock my head in a way that said ‘really?’
“I’m leaving.” I Step beside her but she blocks my way again.
“What are you willing to do for Kieran?”
“Ha?”
“Are you willing to let a deceased person’s sister blame you for her brother’s death whilst the real culprit is Kieran?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I say but my voice is all shaky.
“I know everything. I know how he shot my brother right in the head and how you covered the act for him.”
I take a step, ready to leave. But her next words stop me .
“He won’t see the sun rise tomorrow.”
The graphic image of Kieran’s lifeless body has me in a serious chokehold, I’m unable to think properly or restrain myself. I grab onto her shirt.
“Shut the fuck up, Kat. You’re spewing nonsense.” I snapped.
“The both of you are really cute. I wonder what you are willing to do for him. Oh, I wonder if you can die for him.” She smiles wickedly and grabs onto my hand holding her shirt bunched at her throat.
She’s going to push me down the stairs. She’s crazy enough, She’s going to pull us both down. I just know it. I twist my hands from hers and pull myself up.
That’s just before I realize she’s shaking her head and screaming.
“No Aaliyah. Please no. Stop it.”
Why is she screaming? What in the craziness is going on ?
Classroom doors start opening and this crazy pyscho of a bitch lets herself go and she falls, down and down. Rolling on the stairs and onto the ground.
“Aaliyah Waters.” Miss Lana’s voice reaches me as she watches the horror unfold.
“Hey Kat! Stop joking and get up.” I yell.
“Omg. She pushed her down the stairs.” I hear someone say to people in the class and people rush out.
“I didn’t do it, believe me.” I began.
Phones start snapping away and flash lights go off.
“I didn’t push her I swear. She pushed herself. She’s crazy.” I scream at the ears that refused to believe me.
“Principal’s office, now. You vile child.” Miss Lana says. Furiously pointing at me.
