Lin Yi felt that this old man was getting more and more absurd. He was radiating an unfathomable presence. Lin Yi didn't want anything to do with him, so he put the pedal to the metal. How could he be an ordinary person when he could run as fast as a car?

"Old man, what do you want? Have we met before?" Lin Yi felt so unlucky. Why does he have to deal with this guy?

Lin Yi frowned. Normally he would just walk away from these people, but the old man had incredible running speed, and he mentioned the word "energy," so he refrained himself from turning back and asked curiously, "You know energy?"

"Of course. I even know that you're at peak phase golden class, and you're close to breaking through, but the noxious substances in your body is stopping you from doing so. Lin Yi frowned again. How could this old man know his class? But when the old man said that he was still at peak phase golden class, Lin Yi smirked on the inside. He doubted everything the old man had said and assumed that the old man was a scammer.

If this man had come to him yesterday, Lin Yi would have been convinced easily, but now that Lin Yi had reached mystic class, he didn't believe his words.

Lin Yi was impressed with that speed. He wanted to chase the old man, but he knew that he would fail miserably.

Lin Yi was really curious about Kongwen's true strength, but he was helpless. Luckily, Kongwen was genuinely trying to help him and held no hostility toward him at all!

Kongwen's master knowing so much about him made him wonder who this mysterious guy was.

But his questions couldn't be be solved at this moment because Kongwen was gone. Even if Lin Yi wracked his brain, he wouldn't get any answers. He stopped thinking about it and headed to school.

Lin Yi went to look for Tang Yin after the first class, but much to his surprise, Tang Yin was absent! He then called Tang Yin, but her phone was off once again.

He went to look for Xinwen and found out she was absent as well.

"Whaaaat!" The class burst into an uproar! This news was too sudden. They never thought that this sort of thing would happen to Pinliang. While they pitied him, they were worried they might become the next victim!

Although the twelfth graders didn't have free time to watch the news, they were aware of their surroundings. Horrible things were happening to the beggars, hobos, and disabled people every day in Songshan. They couldn't help but stay on edge.

These horrible things had never happened to normal people until today, so even though they were on edge, they believed that they weren't going to be targeted!
