"In that case, we will rest properly…" Tang Yun nodded as she understood Lin Yi's intentions.

Chu Mengyao woke up from the commotion, she hadn't been sleeping for too long since her last shift. She was also too worried about Lin Yi's safety, how could she sleep soundly?

Quickly, she peeked downstairs to find that there wasn't anyone on the couch. Her adrenaline started pumping and she could hear voices coming from inside Lin Yi's room. Could it be...

Chu Mengyao acted on instinct and ran to Lin Yi's room. When she entered, she could see that Lin Yi was laying in bed with Chen Yushu and Tang Yun by his bedside. She was ecstatic, Lin Yi had finally woken up! She smiled gently from what she saw.

"Yaoyao, you should go back to sleep too. Your hair is a mess, that is how I know that you didn't sleep well," Lin Yi had never seen his Miss in such a sorry and messy state.

Chu Mengyao blushed red when she heard that from Lin Yi. Her hair was a mess because she had just woken up from her sleep, while Chen Yushu and Tang Yun had still been awake so they were properly washed up and dressed...

"Ah… I…" Chu Mengyao stuttered. She had a shameful look. She wasn't like herself, the normal, calm and collected Miss that she portrayed to others. With Tang Yun present however, Chu Mengyao had to suppress her expressions "You are awake, do you still need more rest?"

"Yes, I still need a little bit more. You girls should go rest," Lin Yi spoke up.

Each of the three girls had their worries, Chu Mengyao wanted to say something appreciative. Chen Yushu wanted to ask Shield Bro what ability he had used. Tang Yun wanted to know if there was anything she could do for him, she wanted to stay by Lin Yi's side.

However, they didn't speak their mind. They just left the room together...

"Sigh... " Lin Yi was able to exhale out in relief. He wanted them to rest. Most importantly, Lin Yi didn't want to talk to them yet! He didn't know how to explain what happened to them!

For the moment, Lin Yi didn't know where to begin telling his story. Now that Lin Yi had lost his strength, his enemies could even come seek revenge anytime. He didn't want to bring harm to his Miss!

Without any true power to protect them, he had to watch his every step. Fortunately, his enemies doesn't know his current situation. Otherwise, they would come and take advantage of him. Lin Yi chuckled bitterly.

He wanted to take out his phone to call Old Lin. He had to ask him if he had any ideas to help him. But the moment Lin Yi reached for his pocket, he discovered that it had been blown into pieces.

Tang Yun, Chu Mengyao and Chen Yushu were all tired. They each worried about Lin Yi's wellbeing. For the past three days, they weren't able to find any restful sleep. The moment they left Lin Yi's room, they were finally at peace. All the pent up stress was released at once.

They all slept upstairs in the master bedroom. Chu Mengyao didn't mind Tang Yun at all. She allowed Tang Yun to join them upstairs in their bed.

Chu Mengyao didn't know when she had started accepting Tang Yun, was it because she had accepted her as Lin Yi's girlfriend? At the very least, she found that she no longer had any distasteful feelings toward Tang Yun. Was that a good thing or a bad thing?

Back then on their rotation, it was Tang Yun sleeping alone on the bed, but now all three of them have to share the bed. How good can the sleep be by sharing one bed?

Tang Yun also felt that the three of them sleeping together was slightly inappropriate, she opened her mouth to respond, "No need, I'll just sleep on the couch downstairs."

When Tang Yun said that, Chu Mengyao felt uncomfortable so she replied, "How can I let you do that? You are the guest, if there needs to be someone sleeping on the couch downstairs… Then it should be Yushu!"

"What? Why must it be me?" Chen Yushu asked in a confused tone.

"Haha…" Tang Yun knew that Chu Mengyao was merely being polite. There was no way she would force Chen Yushu to sleep on the couch. So Tang Yun tried to laugh it off and asked, "Is there a guest room? Can't I sleep in the guest room?"

"Oh, there is. It is near the master room upstairs. I'll go prepare the bed," Chu Mengyao had forgotten that there was still an extra room available.

Chen Yushu wanted to continue her lie by saying that the guest room upstairs was Shield Bro, but Chu Mengyao was faster. The guest room had to be prepared as it had gotten dusty from not being used for a while. Chen Yushu's lie was destined to fail, by saying that the room needed to be prepared meant that no one had occupied it for a long time.

Lin Yi waited until the girls had gone upstairs, before he came out of his room, walking into the living room. General Wu lifted its head to glance at Lin Yi. Even the animal had sensed that Lin Yi had returned to just a normal person. It couldn't talk, but it barked twice. Lin Yi ignored General Wu. After being ignored for a bit, General Wu resumed its position on the floor.

Lin Yi wanted to use the phone line in the mansion. He had to make a phone call to Old Lin.

"Lin Yi?" Old Lin answered the phone while he was on the toilet. The phone buzzed and nearly fell into the toilet. "What are you doing? Can't your call wait until I'm done?"

"You aren't on the toilet again, are you?" Lin Yi heard Old Lin's frustrated voice and was able to guess what was the cause of it.

"..." Old Lin barked in reply, "What is it that you want?"

"Old Lin, I'm useless now… I lost my power and I am just a normal person right now…" Lin Yi didn't waste time on describing his condition. He was in poor condition and he needed assistance immediately.

"Normal person? How did this happen?" Old Lin was shocked. He wanted to hang up, but this was a serious situation.

"All my meridians have been severed. I haven't been able to gather any pure energy…" Lin Yi eased into the truth and then told his side of the story of what had taken place.

"So from what you have told me. All your meridians have been severed by your explosion technique?" Old Lin asked in a serious tone.

"Yes…" Lin Yi was utterly speechless, "Old Lin, you are the miracle doctor, do you have any miracles you can bestow on me?"

"None!" Old Lin clearly answered. "What are you doing? How can you be so careless? Forget it… If what you say is true, then the blame doesn't lie on you. Quickly pack up and return to seek refuge here to focus on physical martial arts. If you stay at Songshan City, it would be like courting death…"
