"Uncle Chu, even if you were to hire a bodyguard- it's not like I could just lie around in this villa under protection forever," Lin Yi said helplessly, "I need to eventually recover my strength! That's why I'm resigning, it's so that I can find out how!"

Having finished their discussion, Pengzhan first took his leave to deal with company matters, which had been keeping him busy these past few days. Lin Yi, on the other hand, guessed that the two misses were upstairs sleeping. They were lacking in sleep this past while, too.

Come the morning of the second day, Mengyao and Yushu came walking down holding hands, with the miss. It was not much different from how they usually were so Lin Yi didn't think much of it.

"Lin Yi, when are you leaving?" Mengyao asked.

"These next two days, until Uncle Chu's bodyguard arrives. I'll leave after that," Lin Yi said, feeling a little sour from the sadness.

"Oh. So you're leaving from the villa?" Mengyao asked.

"I think so," Lin Yi nodded.

"Then tell Shu and I- we'll send you off," Mengyao said.

"Okay," Lin Yi looked at Mengyao a little oddly- she seemed to be a lot more composed, compared to yesterday?

In the villa area, House Xiao had already moved inside the newly purchased villa.

Xiao Jizheng glared at his wife Gou Huli, "Look what you've done! What kind of people have you been pissing off? Thank god I didn't listen to you and sent Uncle Pi to Chu Pengzhan- or our House Xiao would be in deep shit right about now!"
