924 This is Your Helper?

"Ridiculous? You should be thankful we're not shutting your entire Pengzhan Industries down after what you did to one of us Xiaos!" Xiao Ji interrupted, "You think we'd do anything short of taking your entire enterprise during our peak years, if you'd crossed us then? One word from us and no one would do business with you!"

"Ha ha, Xiao Ji, you've said it yourself- the Xiaos are not what they used to be. There's no reason to discuss terms like the one you've just mentioned. Please leave," Pengzhan said dully. Since they weren't aiming to be reasonable, there was only the road of hostility for both parties in the future.

Pengzhan was thinking that Pengzhan Industries wouldn't necessarily lose to House Xiao's big business and their identity as a noble house- after all, they had just arrived in Songshan fresh.

"Chu Pengzhan, don't test our patience!" Xiao Ji jumped up, "What are you acting mighty for? We may not be as strong as we once were, but what about you? You think you're still the Chu Pengzhan from awhile back? Do you even know why we've come to your door? Do you know why?"

Pengzhan frowned, his heart jumping- it seemed that he'd guessed right! But this Xiao Ji, wasn't he being a little too cocky?

"That driver of yours, Li Fu- he's completely injured, still in a coma, isn't he? That Lin Yi, as well- he'd lost all his practitioner's strength, hasn't he?" Xiao Ji continued, "We hadn't come to your doorstep before beacuse there were still considerations to be made with those two- but now that we're here don't think that you're getting away! If you know what's good for you, then pay up with your wealth and you'll be able to keep your health, otherwise, we'll be able to bring to the table worse than what Zhen Yingjun did!"

"So you've planned this all along!" Pengzhan said, angered. These people were kicking him when he was at a low!

"So what if we have? Chu Pengzhan, the Earth isn't a safe place- you and your daughter must take care, it'd be a misfortune if you were to die in the streets! You wouldn't be able to use any of your wealth then!" Xiao Ji said coldly, "These days, too many deaths are unaccounted for!"

Mister Wei, send them off!" Pengzhan gave Wei Zun a look- fortunately for him he'd already made preparations before the Xiaos came- or things would have been extremely bad for him!

Wei Zun, being the guy he was, stood up like the main character of some returning master- all he lacked was the music to accompany his movements.

"You three disrespectful younglings- scram! Keep causing trouble here and I won't guarantee your life!" Wei Zun motioned his hand cockily, not giving any heed to the Xiaos nor Uncle Pi.

The Xiaos paused at Wei Zun's sudden appearance- they hadn't paid him any attention, not thinking that he could be a master at all.

"What the hell are you?" Xiao Ji said, not worried.

"Mystic prime class! Leave, or I'll send you to the heavens!" Wei Zhi Zun said without a care in the world, as if the people before him posed no threat whatsoever.

"Ha? I was just wondering why you were so arrogant, Chu Pengzhan- so you have a new helper now!" Xiao Ji looked at Wei Zhi Zun, laughing loudly, "But it's funny! How come I've never heard of this mystic something prime before? You've heard of it, Uncle Pi?"

"No, I've never heard anything of the like." Uncle Pi said dully.

"You foolish children, you dare make fun of this Wei Zhi Zun? Waaaah, I'll kill you!" Wei Zhi Zun raged after being looked down on.

"Uncle Pi, shut him up!" Xiao Ben said with one look at the madman.

"Yes, second master!" Uncle Pi's body shifted instantly, his palm slamming at Wei Zhi Zun.

In his rage, Zhi Zun slammed into the attack, and all sound stopped- in an instant, his eyes bulged and he flew out from the impact with a cry, slamming into the wall with one gulp of blood spewing from his lips. He twitched on the ground, evidently veyr heavily injured…

"Merely a Mystic early phase, a physical practitioner, at that! Coming out after just breaking into the Mystic class… Mystic prime? Truly a frog in a well," Uncle Pi shook his head.

"I was thinking that perhaps some new level had appeared in the Mystic class- this is ridiculous! Is this the helper you've placed your confidence in? Where have you dug this trash out of?"

"Mystic mid phase?" Wei Zhi Zun looked at Uncle Pi in disbelief- he wasn't expecting the enemy to be a Mystic mid class- that was two levels above him!

He didn't think that the enemy even had a master at all, and wanted to show Pengzhan that the five hundred thousand he'd paid for his services was well worth the money- but he didn't think that all of it would backfire like this, getting him defeated in one shot!

In actuality, only a part of the two hundred thousand would be given to the company- most of it would still be his! But it was a trick masters like him often did, and he was even thinking of asking for bonuses after helping Pengzhan solve this issue!

But he'd made grave miscalculations! The enemy's strength was far above what he'd expected!

He wouldn't even be a Mystic mid class physical practitioner's opponent in the first place, even if he wasn't being careless- but now he'd suffered a direct hit from the enemy! He felt that his organs had been shifted around, and evidently, he'd lost all his strength- even if he could heal back from this, there was no way his kung fu would reach the state he used to have!

He'd given up his life, essentially, and melancholy hit him. He regretted taking up this business, it was all because he was greedy and careless! Yet, who could he pin the blame on? Not only would he receive nothing in return, he now had to leave with his tail between his legs!

"This is a warning, Chu Pengzhan!" Xiao Ji was overjoyed at the sight of Uncle Pi one-shotting the new master Pengzhan- he pointed at the man and spoke arrogantly, "The terms have been raised, so we hope you wouldn't do anything to seal your fate! One day- we'll give you that much time to think it over. Otherwise… Heh heh, you'll suffer unsightly, the same goes to your daughter! You'll regret it terribly!"

"Alright, big brother- don't scare him- what if he has a heart attack, how will we get our money then?" Xiao Ben said graciously, "Let's go- let Mister Chu think it over. I'm sure he's no fool."

The Xiao brothers laughed as they exited the office with Uncle PI, not caring one bit about the cold look on Pengzhan's face!

Pengzhan was in shock and in anger- he wasn't expecting the Xiaos to put up such a strong offense, nor did he expect the master he had hired to be destroyed in one hit from the opponent's Uncle Pi!
