926 Sharing Soup

"Don't you worry! I'm sure you understand what sort of background I have. I have the upper hand here!" Qibin said reassuringly, "It is true that in our world, a golden class master is already a rare phenomenon, there may not even be that many in one given city alone! A Mystic, on the other hand, would only be seen in noble houses! However, other than noble houses, there exists some hiring services who have master practitioners as well, except that these people work for money. They wouldn't appear otherwise! You can think of them as mercenary organizations. According to my knowledge, these organizations in our country are heavily monitered by the hidden noble houses, and their strongest would all be at most mystic early class- if they were to break through to Mystic mid phase or late phase, the hidden houses would hire them themselves, and that would give the practitioners a chance to break through to the Earth class! Who would still stay in a mercenary group when that opportunity came?"

"Oh, I see! But what if Chu Pengzhan hires a foreign one?" Xiao Ji wondered if there were similar organizations outside of their country.

"Do you think Chu Pengzhan's able to? If he were in that position, his company would be spreading across the globe, not across the country!" Qibin said, looking down on the man, "Don't you worry. He wouldn't have backed off like that if he were capable of hiring someone even stronger, and he wouldn't have brought out that trash to let you guys push around!"

"You're right!" XIao Ji sighed in relief and nodded, "Thank you for the explanation, Master Bin!"

"Hm, now that you've told me this, I'm feeling that I should take a bite from the cake as well! What demands did you guys make to him?" Qibin asked.

Xiao Ji panicked a little at hearing Master Bin's intentions- his own demands hadn't even been met yet, was it Master's Bin's intent to share the soup with him? Yet he didn't dare speak up against that. "We asked him for his shopping center business and his hotel, along with two hundred million!"

"Ah, I see…" Qibin was feeling rather envious as of this moment- it seemed that he should hurry up and make his move as well, lest Pengzhan Industries were to be eaten alive by others! Now was the time!

And so Qibin didn't want to talk with Xiao Ji too much- after a couple of quick words, he hung up.

Xiao Ji was getting rather worried as he quickly turned to his brother, "Little brother, Zhao Qibin seems to be interested in taking from Chu Pengzhan as well! Do you think we'd still be able to earn as much if he does the same thing? This seems bad!"

"Haha, now you're worrying too much, brother!" Xiao Ben waved his hand light heartedly, "The situation now is this: the more enemies stomping on Chu Pengzhan, the better it is for us! The more the better!"

"Oh? Why is that?" Xiao Ji wasn't as smart as Xiao Ben, he didn't understand.

"Think about it- with this many enemies, the man would truly be forced in a corner! What else could he possibly do but give out his valuables? Even if he were able to hire another helper, could they really handle that many enmeies?" Xiao Ben explained, "If we were the only ones on the offense, he'd be thinking that there was still a chance, and with that psychology, he'd be resisting, not giving in!"

"I see!" Xiao Ji nodded, "You truly are quick witted, brother! It seems that although we wouldn't be able to take as much, at the same time, the amount guaranteed would also be a lot more likely!"

"Exactly! So, we don't have to do anything right now- let Master Bin do as he pleases, and when Pengzhan's at the end of his rope, we'll go and give him a little push! I'd be surprised if he didn't give in!" Xiao Ben said.

Zhao Qibin, on the other hand, was rushing to gather Li Cihua, Jin Gubang, and Zhong Fabai. He was planning on making a move on Pengzhan Industries, since everyone would eventually take their share of the cake and he wouldn't have much left for himself!

At this point, he was already treating Pengzhan's wealth as his own- he was afraid someone else would steal it from him!

"Old Jin, Old Zhong- you guys are familiar with Pengzhan Indusrties. What sort of excuse do you think we should use this time to demand money from Chu Pengzhan?" Qibin said directly. There was no reason to hide anything from his trusted men, "House Xiao went to him on the grounds that his wife had been humiliated- what about us?"

At the playing field Qibin was playing on- despite the fact it was unreasonable- some form of excuse was still required. Otherwise, it'd be near-literally daylight robbery if people were to learn of it!

That was something Lin Yi would do- Qibin wasn't that cocky! Different tiers of people had different rules, and no one would try and break them. Everything would fall into chaos otherwise.

But this Lin Yi, he didn't care about the rules of the upper society, not one bit! He went by his own rules, ignoring everything else and throwing his wild cards! This was why Qibin never once gained anything from his conflict with him!

Now that he had a chance to mess with Chu Pengzhan, there wasn't a chance in hell he'd let it go.

Pengzhan Indsutries' real estate business was something he'd been drooling for after all- and he would have already had it, too, if it weren't for Lin Yi's interruptions!

"Hm, our few conflicts were all with Lin Yi… But if we use him as the excuse, it wouldn't really hold!" Cihua said, "House Xiao's excuse may be a little laughable, but it's true that Chu Mengyao pissed off their Ju Huli…"

"I'm aware. Would I be here discussing with you if I could go and just demand money from him?" Qibin glared, annoyed, "Everyone, hurry and think up some ideas- I'm worried that all of Chu Pengzhan's enemies would make their move when the news gets out, and we'd get a lesser share if we're late!"

"I've got an idea, Master Bin!" Jin Gubang said suddenly, "But this would be a little bit of a robbery in the dark…"

"That's fine- as long as it's not daylight robbery, the rules would not be broken!" Qibin said, "All we need is just an excuse! I'm guessing Pengzhan's already sweating with worry, there's no way he wouldn't cave in if we go and threaten him!

"Well, it's like this. I used to be at the board of shareholders, right? I kept a piece of document Pengzhan signed himself, an empty document. I was thinking of bribing some other members of the board and use it to forge a document, detailing how Pengzhan would sign off his position as chairman, but that Lin Yi kid- he messed everything up, and caused me to fall from grace! I never got to use that document at all!" Gubang said, "What if we forged a business ownership transfer document?"
