Chapter One Hundred and thirty eight
Ariana's POV;
There was something about being thoroughly fucked that jumpstarted one's day. I was humming and singing all morning after a very eventful night with hubby and even Natalie seemed to notice how elated I was.
"You seem really happy today ma'am."
"Life is good Natalie." I sighed dreamily.
Recapping how eventful the night before was, brought a wider smile to my face. Damien and I went at it for longer than I thought we would. He taught me a few positions and I was more than willing to learn.
I was thoroughly sated by the time we stopped, late into the night when my legs could no longer take it. With so much energy lost, we found ourselves in the kitchen, munching on some late night snacks before going to bed.
I honestly wished I had given in to his advances before now. I had missed out on so much. But, it all fell in place after all.
Phone pinged in the back pocket of my jeans and I brought it out, only to see that it was a text from the man who had been on my mind all day.
The message read thus;
'Aiden's planning on proposing this weekend.'
I put my palm over my mouth as I bit back on a scream.
I shook my head. This conversation couldn't be had while texting. I picked up my car keys and hopped up on my sneakers, heading straight for the car parked outside.
I clicked the FaceTime button as soon as I got seated in front of the steering wheel. I wasn't a perfect driver yet but I was getting the hang of it although I still got around with the help of the driver.
"Hey." I said, as I sat up and adjusted my airpods on both ears as soon as his face appeared on the screen.
"You're shocked too?" He chuckled.
"I'm super shocked." I shook my head. "How did you find out?"
"Of course he told me. He came to ask for my blessing."
"That's so beautiful." I pouted. "But do you think they're ready for this step? I mean, they just had a baby and now a wedding-"
"Babe, she hasn't even said yes yet. Plus, were you ready for marriage when we tied the knot?"
"Babe that's different. You know it is."
"It doesn't change the fact that we somehow made things work. These two already love each other, I know they'll work out." He sounded thoroughly convinced and I couldn't help but agree.
"I'm so happy for them."
"This is between you and I, no telling, okay?" He reminded.
"Yes boss." I feigned a serious face, giving a mock salute as well. He smiled.
"Can't wait to see you tonight, I have something special planned for both of us." He sultrily bit on his center of his lower lip, wiggling his brows as he did.
I swallowed.
"Babe, uhm, I have something to tell you." I scratched the back of my head.
"What is it? Is there something wrong?" He turned serious in a split second.
"The thing is, my period came this morning and-"
"Oh come on!" He exclaimed crossing his arms over his chest like a petulant child.
"Sorry?" I said for lack of a better word of consolation.
"It's nature, can't change it. I guess I'll have to wait."
"Of course. Besides, last night, you had enough of me to last you for a week." I chortled at the appalled expression on his face.
"I can't get enough of you." He said like he was the male protagonist in a melodramatic telenovela.
"Yeah right." I rolled my eyes, not wanting to be the girl who would fall those cliche lines in soap operas.
"Don't be such a Thomas."
"Someone knows the Bible." I scoffed not believing my ears.
"I may not know a lot about it but what I know for sure is that you're getting a good spanking when your period is over." The look in his eyes surely told me that he was going to make good his word.
I licked my lips, slightly fanning myself as the sexual tension grew a little more intense. His words and the way he said them, were a turn on but what got to me the most, were the thoughts of him bending me over his knee to spank my behind - one of the sexiest things ever.
"Gotta go babe, I'll see you later." He blew me a virtual kiss that I caught, placing it on my right cheek with an overly wide smile.

Strapped heels clicked the floor in rapid movements as I held up the ankle length dress to keep it from tripping me over.
"Babe!" I heard Damien holler.
"I'm coming!" I yelled back, clamping my fingers over the banister.
"Hurry, we're going to be late."
Without looking up, I knew he was already glancing impatiently at his watch.
"Well you're the one who told me to not look simple. It's not like I'm the celebrant." I muttered, finally standing in front him.
He came in earlier today, handing me a dark green ankle length sequin dress that had a train with one long sleeve and a sleeveless arm, as well as new pair of shoes because we were all heading to a fancy restaurant Aiden had rented out for mum's birthday dinner. The other reason for the the unexpected outdoor dinner, was his proposal to Tracy which only three of us knew about.
"You look breathtaking." His melting gaze trailed over my body as I bit the inside of my lip shyly. His hand went towards my curled up hair and tried rubbing through it. I smacked it off. The stylists had done so much work to make me look this good and I wasn't about to let him ruin it.
"You do know I'm going to grab your hair while I dick you down tonight right?"
"Damien, language!" I scolded in a whisper, hoping none of the workers had heard what he said.
"You know you like it when I talk dirty." He smirked, reaching down for my ass. I felt a streak of dampness pool in my panties as I thought of his words and the fact that I had a promised dick appointment for the night.
"We're running late." I dissuaded him from going further cause the Damien I knew could ditch this dinner just so he could hang my legs on the wall.

"Hey everyone, sorry we're late." I said the moment we arrived.
"Bet you guys had a lot going on to come this late." Mom teased with a smirk.
"What? No!" I blushed furiously.
I was seriously beginning to doubt if the walls were soundproof as Damien claimed.
I looked around and saw that everyone looked so stunning and were all smiles as usual.
We settled down and had a beautiful seafood dinner after the toast. I was eagerly anticipating the proposal, my hands were itching to pick up my phone and record.
Soon the lights went off and there was shuffling all over the place and a shimmery glimmer of light approached us. It was time. I heard shuffling all around me but I stayed put wondering how things were going to unfold.
The lights suddenly came on and when I looked around, I was the only person left seated at the table.
"Why are you guys standing over there?" I looked to my left and saw that they were busy arranging themselves in a horizontal line by one of the large floor to ceiling windows, bringing out their phones to record.
I slowly stood up, puzzled at whatever it was that was going on around me.
Suddenly I heard the sound of a piano, playing out a tune that sounded familiar. Then violins joined and I knew for sure that this song was for me; 'Make You Feel My Love' by Adele.
Damien walked towards me while and stopped in front me. I questioned him with my eyes.
He gestured for the instrumentalists to tone the sound down and they did.
"I'm not very good at this but I'm going to try my best." He started, reaching out to place my palms in his.
"On this day, exactly one year ago, I asked you to marry me."
My eyes went wide, it was then it clicked. It had been a year since I first met him.
"That proposal was a sham, it wasn't real. I knew you didn't want it and I saw it in your eyes but then you already signed the contract."
"So it's true?!" Fiona gasped.
"Fiona!" Everyone hushed her.
"Right, sorry. Carry on!" She giggled, gesturing at Damien who simply shook his head and turned back to me.
"But now, babe I want to do it right. I want a new beginning, a fresh start for both of us. I love you more than anything and you'd make me the happiest man in the world if you," he went down on one knee, pulling out a velvet box. He opened it to reveal the most beautiful diamond I had ever seen, not even the first engagement ring I had could compare to this one.
He cleared his throat. He was getting emotional too.
"Ariana Delaney Kingston, will you marry me, again?"
I burst into tears of incomparable joy.
"Say yes!" They chanted from all corners.
Why on earth would I say no to remarrying the man I love? That would be crazy.
"Yes Damien Liam Kingston, I'll marry you again." I said with unable to fight the smile that made it's way to my teared up face.
Everyone hollered in delight. With a large smile on his god-like face, Damien got on his face, pulled off my rings and replaced them with the clean cut silver diamond ring with a medium sized heart-shaped rock. It wasn't so flashy but it left an impression all the same.
"It's beautiful." I said, staring down at it.
"You're more beautiful."
I locked my lips with his, not caring about the loud whistling and jubilation amongst everyone present.
"I love you." I said, placing his forehead on mine.
"I love you more. Thank you for coming into my life." He said, kissing the back of my palms.
"Thank you for having me."
