When Glory's head stopped hurting, they continued with their search for any details that would lead them to her, but unfortunately, after a long search, they could not find a female child who's name was Lilac.

Finally, they gave up and returned to the Dean's office to thank him.

Dean's office.

" Thank you ma'am for finding time to visit the children. I am very sorry I couldn't be of help to you", the dean apologized sincerely. That was all he could help them with if he should let out more information,he was afraid that he would alert the boss and the out come won't be favourable to him.

" No, we understand, dean, we really appreciate your help and you've done more than we expected of you" Clara said.

They followed the dean out of his office since he offered to show them around the orphanage.

During the walk , they discovered that not only was the name of the orphanage changed,it had also been renovated by that anonymous investor , and the children got to live a normal life like other children. The dean took them to a garden covered with all kinds of white flowers, mostly lilac.

" The flowers were all well taken care of by professionals. We're not allowed to take them out of the orphanage. Every year, no matter what season, the flowers here are always looking fresh and healthy," the dean explained, pointing at the sea of flowers before them.

This sight was beautiful, but Clara was not happy to hear this news, and the beautiful flowers became ugly and irritating to her. While these people were happy that the anonymous person cared about the children, they never knew that he was only trying to preserve the memory of his first love. He did all this for her. These flowers would be her favorite flower when she was with him.

He is just how obsessed with her he is, to spend such a huge amount of money on a dead person.

Glory, on the other hand, felt very uneasy, seeing the flowers. Her head started aching again but this time she was able to see unclear images of a little girl playing with flowers in a garden , unable to bare the pain, she stumbled backward and held onto Clara for support.

" Clara please, let go, we should leave this place already" She struggled to say.

Noticing how uncomfortable her friend was, Clara agreed" Yes, we should ". They said goodbye to the kids before heading to the garage.

" Glory, if you can't drive I'll call a driver". She sent Ella back to the house, to help cover up for her Incase a certain someone suddenly appeared.

" No, I can still drive, I'm a little better now" Glory hurriedly declined her offer.

Making sure she was okay as she claimed to be, Clara gave her the 'go ahead'. The two friends merrily hit the road. Since the orphanage was far from the city, they had to pass through some crooked roads and mountains.

Because of their chat, Glory quickly recovered. In no time, they started singing. Out of the blue, Glory started looking in the rearview mirror nervously.

"Clara, check your seatbelt and make sure it is properly fixed. I think that car is following us so I will have to speed up." She warned her friend, who also looked back and, indeed, a black van was right behind them.

"Clara, your seatbelt and hold on tight " Glory instructed again. Clara immediately obeyed this time.

She took out her phone and dialed a number.

" Dr Alex " she called immediately. The phone got connected.

Bom!!!

The van hit their car and her phone fell off. She tried to pick it up but their car was hit from behind again.

"Clara, I will slow down for a while and try getting out of the car. I think they came for me", Glory instructed, thinking that they came for her.

" No, there's no way I'm leaving you here,we will go back together" Clara stubbornly refused.

Glory tried speeding up but the road was too crooked. She had no choice but to ask Clara to unbuckle her seatbelt.

Being her first time in such a situation, Clara just carried out whatever instructions Glory dished out. Immediately she unbuckles her belt, she finds herself on the floor. Glory pushed her out before their car hit a rock on the other side of the road.

Unknown to them, another car was parked by the roadside.

Clara hurriedly stood up and made an attempt to run to Glory but she was hit on the head from behind and she passed out instantly.

Meanwhile, inside the car, Glory helplessly watched as her friend was carried away. They actually came for Clara and she pushed her towards them. She couldn't move because of the pain she was feeling, so she passed out.

" Boss, I was careless, Miss Jennifer has been released on bill ". Tony reported. He ran into the office.

The man who was busy with some documents suddenly stopped and a murderous aura covered the office , and his eyes darkened.
