She turned to him, " I don't want to go home for dinner tonight , why don't you pick a restaurant of your choice? After that, she glared at him before entering the car Tony parked in front of them. Staring at her small ass,he licked his bottom lip lustfully before running his hand on his hair.

Watching the couple in front of him, Tony couldn't help but murmur to himself " this world is so wonderful ". For the first time, he saw his boss being this humorous.

No one noticed that behind the smile on his face was a well-hidden sneer. Xavier hid it so well that even Tony, who had been by his side for a long time, couldn't notice it.

Xavier also joined her on the back seat. She noticed how close he was to her. She moved further to the side of the window, but this action of hers sold her off. Seeing this, Xavier smirked and moved closer to her. Clara was furious , she was now trapped in a tight corner between him and the door. Xavier smiled when he saw that helpless look on her face. To him she looks cute when she is angry.

Through the rearview mirror, Tony witnessed the couple's PDA { public display of affection} and he started humming one of his favorite songs. " Someone to love by Shen Ward ". Finally, what he wished for was happening before his eyes. Very soon this woman would pull the boss out of his tormenting past.

" If I remember correctly, you once said you can't use a woman to achieve your goals. How come you ended up slapping your own face? That woman from earlier was my uncle's secretary. What are you doing with her ? "

Clara asked, breaking the uncomfortable silence between them.

" So, after what they did to you, do you still care about that family? " Xavier asked, glaring at the woman beside him.

" Yes ,why shouldn't I? I still had their surname , even though they don't treat me like their family member, I can't bring myself to hurt them " Clara said defensively, glaring back at him. The fear she always had in her eyes was long gone.

Xavier was surprised, 'she was not even scared of me again. Was this really the woman I married ?' he wondered.

" Fine then, since you can't hurt them you can still join them and hurt me, "he angrily replied.

Clara understood that he was referring to the contract she stole from him. She wanted to say something but she just decided to hold back. If she continued like this she would end up losing her heart to him and doing that is like giving him a dagger to stab her, whenever he sees fit.

After a long period of silence, she finally asked " won't you stop ?"

" Stop !!! ? Why should I ?, Because of you ?" Xavier asked three questions with a hint of mockery in his voice.

Clara ignored him and just stared outside the window, never , even for once had she ever dared to think that she meant something to him.But why is she hurting this much?

" I will never stop, even if she comes back from the dead. I will make sure I destroy everything the Davis 's have " he declared, looking straight into her eyes while pinching her cheeks.

" Tony, drive her home, I have an appointment " he ordered, alighting from the car.

Tony was furious. The atmosphere was very romantic earlier. Unfortunately, this stupid woman destroyed everything.

" Tony, you must be reluctant to send me home and go with your boss. I will stop a taxi " Clara said, trying to get out of the car, but Tony stopped her.

" Sorry madam but the boss order must be carried out ", he started the car and drove off.

"Madam, I was only fifteen when the boss picked me up on the street, trained me along with other kids. I only started following him at twenty-one. Immediately I finished my studies. All these years, I have never seen him nice to anyone, not even his two brothers. Seeing the way he treats you, I think that you should appreciate it and stop getting at his nerves so that he won't end up hating you ", Tony advised.

Although Clara was taken aback, she didn't show any expression on her face. Instead, she also gave him a piece of advice: " I think you should stop getting yourself involved in my relationship with your boss, before you get yourself in trouble".

Tony was dumbfounded ,so she now saw him as a nuisance when he was only trying to advise her.

The Cold Aura around Xavier told how displeased he was with the way both old and young women were drooling over him, as if he had just stepped out of a magazine or he was some candy they looked to have .

Thanks to the chilling air around him, those women could only admire this Greek god from afar.

While standing at the bus stop, his eagle-like eyes landed on something at the other side of the road. His black eyeballs enlarged and before he knew it, he was already in the middle of the road. He didn't care if the traffic light was red or green. All he wants is to get to that figure before it disappears.

The angry horns from cars, multiple vehicle collisions and insults from the drivers and some pedestrians who witnessed everything, fill the air, but no matter how much they yelled, the person in question did not even make a move or plan to stop until he finally got to the other side of the road. Unfortunately for him, that figure was no longer there.

" Florida , Lilac " he yelled like a mad man, searching every corner he could but that figure was nowhere to be found," this can't be an illusion, how can I have one illusion two times in a month, " even though he saw her ashes he still prayed for a miracle, but why did he suddenly start seeing her now that he is trying to move on.

Immediately he left that place, Glory appeared with an Alpine ice cream, looking very pleased with the ice cream as she munched on it like a kid.
