The next morning all the guys were in Colt’s hotel room ranting over the previous night’s situation.
Dustin was pacing the floor like a madman. “What are we going to do about our little problem?”
Trent chuckled. “Cement shoes and an enormous body of water sounds good right now. Feed her to the fishes.”
“At least she’s hot. Colt, what do you think?” Chris asked.
Colt was staring out the window, trying to not think about how she made him feel. She was the sexiest woman he had ever seen, and it pissed him off to no end that he couldn’t stop thinking about her. He was usually a playful person. This woman infuriated and excited him at the same time.
“Huh? Oh. I don’t know. This girl’s trouble. How about this? We ask her to the bar again tonight. Only maybe a regular bar. The strip club obviously didn’t work. I’ll make her think we are going to give her a chance. Then here is what we do…”

At the talent meeting, Holly came in wearing a simple black jersey bodycon dress with a black leather jacket, and a plaid shirt tied around her waist. Sitting in between Colt and Trent, at the table in front of Davis’s podium, she just smiled ear-to-ear, knowing they were still annoyed at her.
“What’s up, boys? Have a good night’s sleep? Have any wet dreams?” she teased.
Colt shook his head while pretending to ignore her. She turned to him, playing with a lock of his hair that had fallen over his eye.
“Why the grouchy face? No one took care of your little problem for you last night?” She pointed to his crotch. “Poor baby.”
She leaned in smiling at him and rubbed his inner thigh, Colt quickly grabbing her wrist. “Knock it off, Holly. We were going to invite you to come out to the bar with us tonight for a few drinks. So, we can all get to know each other. If you’re going to be a bitch all day, you can stay at the hotel.”
He relaxed his grip, trying to seem sincere.
“And why would you be wanting to be all chummy?” She crossed her legs, leaning on the table, trying to figure him out.
“Because we all know Davis enough to know he won’t let us out of this. Just like he did with Isis and Gage. So might as well get to know each other if we must spend time together. For now, anyway.”
Colt avoided looking at her, facing forward while he talked. She narrowed her eyes, noticing his body language. Looking over at the rest of the guys, they were doing the same thing. Avoiding eye contact looking at the front of the room. She smiled inside. They think they are so slick, but she was on to them.
“All right. Sounds fun. This job may be easier than I thought. I’m in.” She turned to face the front of the room, ready to play their little game.
Davis came in talking over the upcoming events and pay-per-views. He told the roster who would be in what storylines together and promotional events they would do on the side. Davis noticed Retribution had not said a word, and he looked at Holly with a grin.
His plan was working, as always.

Later that night, they headed to the bar after the house show. The typical Retribution antics were at a minimum that night. Thinking they were fooling Holly and Davis; they found a little dive bar to hang out.
On the dancefloor, Holly and Dustin were dancing close. To his surprise, Colt was almost a little jealous watching Dustin dancing with her. He tapped on his glass, wanting to intervene. The closer Dustin got, the more irritated he became.
She tried her best to not let them figure out she knew they were up to something. But it was clear by how they were acting something was afoot.
Colt pulled Trent to the side. “Do you have it?”
“Yep. Found some fan that had the stuff. Here. Just sprinkle this in her drink.” Trent handed him the little package.
Chris looked guilty. “Think this is a good idea? What if her brothers find out?”
Colt shook his head. “Don’t tell them and they won’t know a thing.”
Colt smirked, watching her dance with Dustin, who was supposedly keeping her distracted.
Colt waved them over to the bar. “Hey, come on over. Let’s have a drink to toast our newest member of Retribution.”
Colt ordered two drinks and Trent hid Colt behind him. Holly walked over, seeing Chris acting a little shifty, and knew something was up. When finished spiking her drink, Colt put his arm around her and handed her the glass.
She watched intently to their body language. Seeing Colt with the drink, she knew what he was up to.
“Not yet. I love this song. Colt, come dance with me.”
She pulled him to the dance floor as a sexy dance beat played. As she danced with him, she ran her hands over his body. Colt, not moving much, kept watching her body sway to the beat. Maniacally thinking he was winning this minor battle, he smiled inside.
Holly got in front of him, taking his hands, placing them on her hips as she danced and swayed to his body. Her hips grinding up against him as she moved.
Colt tried to avoid the same reaction he had the night before to her body on his. She turned her back to him and pulled him to press against her backside. He played along and pulled Holly against his chest, running his hand around her waist up to her abs. The other led up to her neck, turning her head back to him. He ran his tongue over her lips, sucking her bottom lip into his.
“Mmm.”
“You know, Colt? We could be an excellent team, you, and me. I could be really good for you.” She reached behind her, running her hand over the side of his face.
“I bet you could. If you were just a little nicer. We’re not such bad guys once you get to know us. We’re just having fun. Davis just doesn’t get us.”
“Oh, I know. I’m figuring that out fast. Maybe I was wrong to judge. I know how difficult Davis can be.” She turned to face him. “Honestly, it was all a ruse. I pretended not to like you and the guys so Davis would put me with you. I just needed to be close to you. You turn me on, Colt.”
They were both just playing a game. Neither of them meant a word of it. Or did they?
The song ended, and Holly went back to the bar grabbing the drinks handing Colt his. She switched the drinks, so he didn’t know.
“A toast. To a new start,” she said with a smile.
She toasted up her drink to the guys, drinking her shot with one gulp.
After they downed their shots, Holly asked Colt to dance one more song. As they were dancing, Colt got dizzy. The room started spinning, and a glazed-over look in his eyes took over. Holly started moving around faster to get him dizzier. Spinning, Colt who was wavering felt like he would be sick.
“Come on, Colt. Get moving. Shake that moneymaker.”
A second later, he felt a dizzy wave rush over him. Suddenly, he fell face-first to the floor. Completely knocked out asleep and now snoring.
She looked up at the rest of the Retribution guys whose mouths dropped open. Holly patted her hands together like she was knocking off dust.
She giggled and walked past them, smiling mischievously. “Never mess with the master, girls. Go pick your boy off the floor. He’s probably going to have a nasty headache in the morning. We have a photoshoot at 10AM. Don’t be late.”
